Mika is annoying for saying out loud the thruth and for wanting to take Yuu away from all this shit? wow, last time I checked that isnt being annoying but that is being the best of friends. If it wasnt for Mika, Shinoa would be dust by now and Yuu would go berserk with her death. Mika just wants to protect Yuu no matter what. Vampires are bad but humans aren´t good at all. |

| It's funny how Shinoa's almost always the trigger for Yuu; at first he's just all "oh my friends can survive this, yeah everything's a-ok, they'll find a-" but then when something happens to Shinoa, he goes apeshit. Not that it's a bad thing or anything, ShinoYuu for victory. <3 As for the episode itself, it was pretty decent and the pacing was pretty super. Nothing much to say since this was pretty faithful to the manga (minus crowley vs yuu). |

| So Mika is not dead because Yu hadn't "activated" the curse in his sword to kill him, yet every other vampire in the series dies right after they're killed. Nice resolution from last week's "oh shoot" cliffhanger... I guess this episode was a little bit better than other ones. I can totally sympathize with Yu as he is torn between his childhood now-a-vampire friend and his new human family. So Yu unlocks tree mode, but all that is does is make him bleed out of one eye and make big explosions with his sword. Yet this accomplishes virtually nothing because no really important enemies die and he can be stopped by a: "No, Yuu! Please stop it!" |

| WOW JUST WOW, This was the best episode up till now, WTF was that and looks like Humans aren't that innocent after all...at start I thought it was Mika who was decieved by the Vimperes but oh wait it's the opossite, the Vampires had no idea on what was going on w/ Yu while Shit-Gurren looked like he knew everything, from now on I vote for Team Vampire, DESTROY THOSE HUMANS AND THEIR Greed, just put an end to them, "just keep the innocent one alive if there are in the first place ofc" Also from what I've understood from the previous EPs Mika may have the same power w/ Yu or sth simillar, I remember that the queen said sth like that when we were showed what happened after Yu left the vampires and also answers why she saved him....we'll see now how this evolves, and as I guess be ready for cliffhanger next week. |

| Normally people spread the hate while I totally love the show, but this episode I was really disappointed. What they made Yuu turn into was just another Tokyo Ghoul? What was that amazing ending last week?! it had absolutely no effect in this episode, everyone is living and functioning well as if a blade hadn't went through their chest (Yes I know Mika can't die without the spell being activated). Also, what is wrong with Guren? They try to make him act as a badass character but he is completely useless! Being held in a vampire hand for so long without dying because guess what he is one of the MC! Mika is also weird, I appreciate his good intentions but he kills human and then defend them because Yuu shouldn't kill them? Finally, everyone was saved with the power of hug. Spread the love people, hug for a better life. Oh, I can't express how this episode ruined the show for me :( |

| So pretty much this episode in a nut shell Mika is hellla yandere for Yuu and while princess carrying away him his unit gets "vampire raped" causing Yuu to turn into some splatoon ink spewing demon tree thing,and while all this happening Garen is looking like a weak piece of shit and his squad doing a whole lot of nothing just so they could stall for reinforcements. just how we knew there were more to the humans depending on how they go about it could be good but yeah.. |

| I went from Hating the vampires to hating the humans in this episode. I thought the vampires where just brain washing mika but after this episode its clear to see thats not the case (Always viewed humans as greedy and destructive anyway lol) |
| "The humans are using you. Dont let them deceive you." Thats a pretty weak excuse to have Yu go with Mika. And a very weak attempt at the "who's the real monster" cliche. that car that exploded, and a few other things I noticed: shitty foreground animation. Ya, the beautiful backgrounds cant hide everything. Aw fuck. This just took a "Tokyo Ghoul" twist and Im suddenly losing interest. "Shinoa! He can still turn back at this point, do something! do something!" as if she know how the fuck to keep a human from turning full monster-- o nevermind, a hug and a "please" seems to be the cure. Im just gonna go ahead a judge it. Hated the pacing in the first half. Finally started enjoying ep7-10. This episode killed it for me. However, I it would be unfair if I didnt give back a point for the background artwork that Ive loved the whole time. So between a 8 or 9/10. |

| 10/10 Best episode so far! It was just as exciting as the manga version. The animation really picked up in this one because it was getting really, really poor in the last few. Hope they edit them for the DVD/Blu-ray releases though. Can't wait for season 2, since this season's almost over ;A; |
| Best episode so far. Unfortunately, that's not saying much. Until the halfway point, the episode, like the show as a whole, had dull fight scenes. It's such a faux edgy show. |

| Gahhh, it's so hard waiting each week for another episode to come out! I want to know what kind of experiment they did on Yuu and what that berserk form is all about. Yuu got princess carried away by Mika... Don't know what to say about that. I really want that one purple haired vampire that Yoichi was looking at dead. I don't know why, but he just annoys me so much more than any other character. Yay for Shinoa's hug :D |
| Was that black stuff censored blood or just a black substance? Every time the black goo or watever hit the ground and became part of the background it seemed to turn red. In the manga blood and his tree/wing thing are both black so its hard 2 tell |

Or rather, I find it unreasonable to comment on the soundtrack because the overwhelming majority of the show, even during important parts or action scenes, has no music at all. And when there is music, it is almost always played at a very low volume relative to everything else. The music in this show just has so little presence it's ridiculous. Basically the sound design in this show is shit. I think they've only used like 4 or 5 songs on this show total, excluding OP/ED/PVs. |

But, hey, in order for your manly pride to feel good you probably need to see a cast full of Hulks with as much emotional capacity who exist only to be destroying stuff. Because heaven forbid male characters would act and look like real people. And then they say that gender stereotypes don't hurt men. It's sad that you can be this sexist towards your own gender. |

This is essentially the point where the micro-plot develops into a macro-plot. Finally the world building that I've been waiting for has arrived. Been seeing a bunch of people complaining about how cliche and typical the show is to the Shounen/action genre. Now if it were about the animation quality or other aspects, which they've improved upon, then I would understand. But this....??? Considering that it HAS been tagged as a Shounen, why the complaints and surprise when they actually fit to the tropes that it's been tagged for? Were you all expecting some innovative "Non-Shounen-esque-but-stil-Shounen" series when you decided to watch it? It's not like this show does as much ass-pulling as many other Shounen genre shows out there. Why all the surprise when they actually fit to the tropes they've been billed for? Just because it's typical does it mean that it will be bad/disappointing/unwatchable? Seriously some people need to get off their high horses here. Coming into a Shounen anime and not expecting Shounen elements is like walking into a meat shop and being disappointed that they don't sell vegan products. Not only is it ridiculously nonsensical, but it also makes you lot look like idiots. Plus, as of this moment, I think it's safe to say that you won't even know who the "Good" side is right now. This episode did well to throw things into the gray zone, and the subsequent episodes will help further that movement. No, not all humans are good and no, not all vampires are bad. The thing inside Yuu is seriously bad news though. Things aren't so clear-cut that you can use two sentences to describe the story. Some people just gotta learn to be patient and wait till the story develops. |

| Okay, so finally an interesting episode. Didn't expect Yu to grow one black wing there. It was going great until Yu confronted Shinoa and was about to kill her. Then Mika came saying, "Don't kill humans." I was like contradicting much. Well, there might still be some love for humans left inside him but still... And when Shinoa hugged Yu to bring him back, he got jealous saying how she shouldn't touch him with her filthy hands lol. Other than that, I liked the episode quite a bit. |

| So the main distinction this show is trying to make is that the humans may actually be the bad guys? not too exciting in my opinion. As for the berserk mode, we've seen it better done in the big 3 shounen, and how is Guren still alive? |
