| And so my Fall 2013 is officially over (the shows I watch that is) and it ended on a high note :) - Brilliant character development. Hikari almost made me drop this series but I'm glad I stuck with it. He went from "what an annoying brat" to "what a nice guy." Same as Manaka. I was quite glad they took her out for a couple of episodes but then I ended up missing her. Missing her. Her - the annoying crybaby. Hats off to you Okada Mari. Ehh I still don't like the Chisaki x Tsumugu ship but oh well. As long as Kaname didn't suffer, everything's fine lol. Hikari and Manaka's confirmed too so I'm happy. 9/10. I would have given this an easy 10 if there was a Hikari-Manaka hug. Just a hug but no T__T |

| No kiss, but we got the spontaneous and pretty solid hug between Chisaki and Tsumugu, and clearly they're a couple now. Remember that he's going to university and she's training as a nurse, so being together when he comes back every month or couple of weeks is really the only option. As for Saya and Kaname, that looks pretty solid as well, although they're still at the getting to know each other stage, they seem pretty enthusiastic about it. Hikari and Manaka: yes, they're a pair, but really the two of them are the least mature of the seven main characters. The closing scene is pretty definite. As for Miuna, I'm not entirely sure how I feel. She wanted Hikari, but frankly I think she deserves better than that. She seems to be moving on and treasuring the memory of first love, without feeling that it will be the only love in her life. Remember she's no older than Chisaki was at the beginning of the show, so there is lots of time (and at least one candidate eager to replace Hikari in her heart). I don't know why people are so upset over the lack of a kiss. Yeah, I wanted one too but from what I've observed in both anime and other media, it seems that a kiss (and particularly a deep kiss) is a lot more erotic and intimate than in some other cultures. We don't see it in a lot of romance series, so treasure it when it does happen. Solid 9/10--but a kiss or two would probably have raised it to a 10. |

| One of the best romance animes of the recent seasons... God damn that was good. I don't have much to say apart from the fact that a smooch or a hug near the ending scene, aka hikari being a little bold, would've probably KO'd me for a week. 9/10. |
| It's okay to have an open ending for this kind of show but I think the ending is a little too 'open'. At least they should have made some clearer closure for Tsumugu & Chisaki and Manaka & Hikari's relationship, both is kind of canon pairing after all. Yeah, the ending could have been better than this. The scriptwriter seems a little afraid(or hesitant) to give her own story a bolder closure. I think the most outstanding thing about this anime is the background art. it's on of the best I've ever seen, seriously. In the end Nagi no Asukara is about : change & love |

| It was a good last episode. Everything in this is about feelings, specifically love. The whole anime, like almost all romance anime, started with friends and ends with being in a relationship. I really don't expect a sequel to this because its a good ending and it matches the moments in the last minutes of the last episode. I give it a 9/10 because I was expecting a more romantic ending like they kissed or something like that. |

| Woa what a bs fan service ending, so everything is just misunderstanding? I expected more than this, what a let down. Miuna is better of with Sea God than a bunch of immature kids. Still for the music and the beautiful world id give it 4 stars. |

| Probably my favourite drama-romance ever. The only thing that bothered me was the character archetypes, but putting that aside it was wonderful. 8/10 |

| I like Hikari X manaka. Thank goodness this was the ending. Miura to me, always the "younger" batch. Else all, I can see Minegishi (the one who has a crush on Miuna - thanks @delulytric) and Miura together though. Miura sorta to me, that feelings of love towards Hikari was passed. Ah, Tsumugu and Chisaki, get married already! LOL I felt bad for Sea God though at the end. So uroko-sama living on land now in the seaside hut... |

| I enjoyed the show. Still annoyed by the unnecessary complexity of the relationships. Also, regarding the romance aspect, the ending wasn't as satisfying as it could have been. Anyways, a solid 8 for me. |

| Chisaki got the short end of the stick on that epilouge, but it was still a good series to watch. The sea god seemed like less of a prick that the show was making him out to be. I like how this explaination made even a God as faulty as a regular human. |

| Quite a little too happy ending. The whole thing with Sea God's and Ojoshi-sama's drama just fits perfectly in such a short time is quite questionable. I'm not saying it's unreasonable but it might have been better if it was executed with slower pacing. Now it just feels like everything was rushed to fit a perfect ending. Not that I call the ending is perfect or anything. For all the buildup in the 2nd half of the series, I feel that the ending is a little bit anti-climatic. No confessions or confirmed couple aside (well I think we're all smart enough to make the connection), I don't like what they do to Miuna, who is the only character I care about in this series and have vehemently defended from her haters since the time skip. The only thing that this final episode confirmed is that Miuna is THE BEST girl and she became much more of a main character in one episode than the rest of the casts combined in 25. It's been quite an enjoyable ride albeit frustrating at times. If judging by the story alone this would have only gotten a 7 for me but since the art work is better than most P.A. Works' series, I'll give it an extra score. 8/10 |

| i am ready to rate it 2/10 if miuna doesn't get saved, which was i saying to myself before watching this episode. Glad she's safe. At least the best girl has to be alive, albeit ending up as a foreveralone. 10 / 10 from me, thanks Nagi Asu for the thrill ride. Good job PA works |

| lol how delusional can some of you get? just because your ship didn't make it you say there're no true couples? we don't need a kiss to confirm anything. Hikara and Manaka love each other, and they know that (Manaka even wanted to confess but she thought that he already knows her feelings, if she did not wish to act on her feelings why would she mention them?). Same with Chiaski and Tsumugu, they're clearly together. There's NO reason why they wouldn't be. the only couple that isn't really confirmed is Kaname and Sayu, and whether you think they'll end up together or not is up to you, I personally think they have a future :) Miuna and the guy from the surface were hinted too, but again left open. |
| Eh, not a good, nor a bad ending, more like dull and boring. I still think manaka should have been left down there and hikari and miuna be a couple. Although it was a very enjoyable anime, it most definitely didn't make into "anime's I will remember and recommend". 7/10 for me. |
| Liked the ending, it was really sweet. Glad they choose happy ending route. Overall very good series, first arc was much better, tho. 9/10 first arc, 7/10 second arc, 8/10 overall score. |

| Out of ALLL the damn romance anime this season. I expected the complete opposite. Nagi no asukara has the happy ending I was looking for. The others just sunk towards the climax. This anime pulled through to the end. Hikari was the only reason I kept watching, I wanted him to finally be happy, and with Manaka w/ her feelings for him back, and Muina who gave up on him like I hoping for. Where there's good, there is also bad. Dude... Kanamae.. What about his feelings? I loved everything else but I hate chisaki so much!! I know Tsumugu was with her for 5 years and things can develop through that time, BUT YO, Kanamae confessed way b4 that and even after she realized, even after it all, she treated Kanamae like a straight chump. Doesn't even bat an eye towards him. That was kinda messed up but hey, if that was the worst this anime cud to me, then its fine i guess. 9/10 Great Drama Romance this season! Thanks for the happy end. =D |

| Didn't like some part of the episode, but it was beautiful. I liked the Umigami and Ojoshi story, that was a tragic end indeed. Ending could've been better, but it wasn't bad. I still couldn't come to like Tsumugu and TsumuguxChisaki ship, but whatever. |

| This series... this series gave me so many feels and made me awe and facepalm almost equal number of times... I am a little, just a little disappointed with the finale... But that was gonna happen anyways. There would have been no perfect ending to this series. Either way, someone was gonna hurt but still I am mad that Miuna is all alone, considering how much she had waited for her and sacrificed her everything for him. Her love was flawless... I still find Tsumugu x Manaka to be perfection, Tsumugu x Chisaki doesn't even compare, I don't mind that anymore though,even if it still feels like forced couple dynamic and development (at least to me) Tsumugu x Manaka ( pre-time skip) Chisaki x Hikari, Sayu x Kaname and Miuna x Hikari *(post-time skip) were my OTPs. Don't care what happened and what not since I am neutral to Tsumugu x Chisaki and Hikari x Manaka. I am so sooooo gonna miss this gem, such a beautiful anime! It made me interested in watching anime in hd tbh, it's just that pretty. One of the most gorgeous anime ever made! Everything was simply mazing and breathtaking... 10/10 is all I can say. If possible, I want a 2nd season... No, actually I really want one. |

A bit rushed, imo, especially the part when Hikari's dad suddenly appeared. Until the end, I still don't like Manaka. I feel sorry for Miuna, I kinda hoped Hikari would change his feeling after realizing how much Miuna suffered... |
| After listening to the story of the sea god, I felt bad for him. Thought he was a douche but I was mistaken! Setting Ojoshi-sama free and erasing her feelings of love so she wont experience heartache for the loss of her loved one at the surface and so that she wont follow his path (commit suicide)... yet, her feelings of love was for the sea god himself. Saaaaaad! The first half of the episode really gave me false hopes! It led me to believe that Hikari would sway his love from Manaka to Miuna.. but whoops, thought wrong. I think Miuna is the best girl, but its alright she didn't get her first love. I'm just relieved she didn't go to a 5 year slumber or something. Anyway, the guy who has a crush on her isn't giving up!! Satisfied how things were wrapped. Though there is no kiss or holding hands, etc., it was implied already that Manaka and Hikari like each other very much, Kaname and Sayu have some romantic happenings taking place, same with Chisaki and Tsumugu. 9/10 |

| I think the ending was pretty nice :) Just sad that Miuna is alone though it was expected and fortunately there is still that guy who likes her xD The sea god story was such a tragedy... he actually wasn't such a bad guy... I wonder why Ojoshi was feeling so sad then? Missed her home? Or guilty that she fell in love with the sea god? |
| Very satisfying ending. I thought Hikari would be swayed from Manaka to Miuna as well. I thought it was going to be a tragic ending, tbh, with what was said earlier in the episodes. I give it a 9/10 overall. Beautiful. |

| I was expecting a bitter-sweet ending, but thankfully I was wrong on that part. Even though the ending wasn't perfect, I felt it was the most fitting for the series. Although there wasn't a single kiss from any pairings (not including Chisaki's 'kiss of life' on Manaka by the way :P), i'm not too disappointed in that. The HikariXManaka & ChisakiXTsumugu pairings are pretty much canon now, along with KanameXSayu being implied pretty well. Overall, i'm fully satisfied with the ending as well as the entire series itself. 10/10. =3 |
| Dang,where is my 5 year in the future skip with canon couples at? Why not just confirm the couples instead of hinting towards it. 10/10 I guess the ending shook me up a bit,but it wont ruin my rating. |

I still couldn't come to like Tsumugu and TsumuguxChisaki ship, but whatever. well, I just didn't like Tsumugu though, he's pretty passive I think, and something felt off from him.. arghh, I can't really put it on word but whatever, seems the show ended up pretty well, and I enjoyed almost every episodes in this show a bit sad that Miuna all alone, but it seems she will moving forward from that point on |
