| I think what bothers me about this series is that it's little more than a series of conversations Koyomi is having with a different girl and I think the plot is just an excuse for that. I also don't find characters like Karen and Hanekawa all that interesting so that definitely makes the episode suffer imo. |

| Why are the characters saying Shinobu was mad at Araragi and that they needed to reconcile? It's been a WHILE since I watched Bakemonogatari but I don't remember Araragi doing anything that would have pissed her off? |

Not really a good ideia to animate Nisemono before Kizu. |

| I might’ve missed Senjougahara in Bakemonogatari because I expected it was going to be focused on their relationship, but I don’t miss her here at all. In fact, with so much delicious fanservice, Hanekawa and Kanbaru looking so much better AND more Shinobu, I almost don’t want her to appear at all. :D |

| I was really unsure if the sisters were going to end up as brats, they did annoy me a bit of what I saw of them in Bakemonogatari. I'm glad to say that this is not the case. With some background fillers and their interaction with Araragi I'm very confident that I'll enjoy this series as much as the previous one. |

| I really liked all the dialogue of this episode. Araragi's conversations with both of his sisters and Hanekawa and his sister's conversation with Kaiki were quite interesting. |

| Pretty normal episode I guess. I still don't like new Hanekawa though, somehow it feels like totally different character. Quite a weird change. We got finally background on main antagonist. And more screentime for Karen, it was long needed. I really wonder how kissing and transfering of the spell goes. |
| Really should not hang out with Hanekawa. ep 5. Plot: Koyomi is told what happened by Tsukihi and Hanekawa. Karen had Kaiki trapped with a fake call. After a discussion on good and evil, Kaiki escapes by giving Karen the Fire Wreath Bee, leaving her to suffer and taking all her money. Koyomi manages to find a possible cure by...kissing Karen? ...Nice. Character: Still not liking Hanekawa right now. Big Brother Mentality still in effect. Kaiki was hilariously awesome as a bad guy. That was a verbal/psychological smackdown worthy of someone. Like Lector. But the icing on the cake was when he took Karen's wallet. THat is a special kind of evil. Karen is a somewhat fighter of justice. Her words on not overlooking any cruelty despite being weak is pretty good as good guy speeches go. But Koyomi's words are true as well. If she does continue like this, those around her would suffer, as is the law of heroe. Though that does hit him back in the face considering what he's done so far. Tsukihi's mention of regrets is worth considering. A person who doesn't regret their actions is a dangerous one. One little shift and that's probable Joker bad guy right there. Animation/sound: The Kaiki confrontation was the best part considering the psychedelic backgrounds and atmosphere. And the Karen scene was great fan service. 4/5. The incident is revealed. Now its time for the climax! |

| I think I might love Kaiki. he's bascially me Oh, and Karen too. Their interactions were pretty much gold since they're polar opposites. The whole idea about being an "adult" and being a "child" really struck me this episode and I'm beginning to think that's the main reason why Araragi treats Karen like she's an idiot. Because in terms of the real world and trust...she kind of is. Unlike the other girls, she's not concealing anything, rather she's fooling herself with her own ideals. It's pretty interesting. Also wtf Araragi Lolicon, Siscon...what's next?! Poor Senjougahara -_- |

| Araragi and Tsuhiki have a funny relationship. Exactly how my little sister and I go back and forth, so that was fun to see. Kaiki's mindset makes sense, as much as I disagree with it. Money does make the world go round. Karen and Araragi must be pretty close though for her to be willing to allow him to undress and wash her. Maybe it was more so out of desperation than anything else? That was probably the case. Does this mean the toothbrush scene is coming up soon, especially with that ending? |
