It seems interesting and I'm a real sucker for characters like Aki so I'll keep watching it :) But man those dolls really freak me out, do they háve to play those strange melodies?... o.o" |
| After watching the first episode and seeing where this series is heading, I'm going to drop it. I won't watch this show again unless I hear that Aki kills Utao and Kuga takes control of the doll. As it stands, I can't take this show seriously. |

| Sincerely, I didn’t like this first episode one bit. I was attracted to the synopsis, it seemed fairly original and if it took the right direction, it had the potential to be great, even. Character design seemed old; the classic big eyes, exaggerated characteristics (especially on a certain person)… Nothing especial in the least. Oh, must not forget the perma-blush all of them share. I’ve never seen such abuse of the blushing. The animation came off as a low-budgeted one. It wasn’t noticeably terrible but it wasn’t the best either. And the music is probably the only aspect I like about the show, as I enjoyed the OP & ED themes. Whilst I know it’s too early to judge, being barely the first episode, I must say that I am pretty disappointed; I was expecting some heavily critic situation that would’ve been the beginning to the seinen aspect, which was exactly the “core” of the matter. But what do I get? A spineless main character that assists to a goukon with his peers and ends up trying to ask out the hottest girl of the bunch [The reason? Her well endowed features] because they forced him to… Just to fail terribly without even really trying. Passes out after drinking and she stays with him. And unexpectedly, they find a bloody body in the elevator. What surprises me is that they got more time to stumble with their words with each other and show the usual bothersome awkwardness between each other, yet they not even blink at the murder scene in front of their eyes. “Yeah, whatever.” It was just… unbelievable and stupid to try and make someone believe they weren’t screaming their lungs off, or at least mildly surprised; not at all. It’s insulting. Apart from the reaction Kuga’s reaction to the complaining woman in his apartment complex, apologizing profusely when a psychopath was is there. Yeah, right. tl;dr: By the first impression it gave me, I can surely say I won’t be able to take it seriously. It was merely ridiculous, what they made it to be. … Also, raise your hand if you think Okamoto Nobuhiko should’ve been Aki instead of the dull main character. |

| Intriguing. Not bad, not bad at all. Let's see where this will take us. Crazy white hair guy escaped in the end it seems. Don't they know to check a body if it's dead? That girl he likes is fully loaded. I have a suspicion how she managed to get the attention of so many guys including our protagonist. |

| Finally started watching this. OP and ED were both pretty good but I loved the animation in the OP, it was a very cool "style" :P Kyouhei's voice annoyed me ... then I looked at the seiyuu, he doesn't sound like Rin at all! O_O Hibino's breasts are really weirdly shaped O_O Utao is pretty cute though haha XD Kukuri ... looks like Kyuubei (or that thing from Madoka O_O) Overall ... fairly interesting, hooray, no longer high school kids? Haha XD The whole controlling dolls thing is pretty interesting ... oh and AKI! He's awesome XD I guess he killed a whole bunch of the villagers, and Kyouhei used to be a Seki, whatever that is ... hrm ... the fighting dolls part was pretty awesome :O (Although I thought after Aki provoked Kyouhei he'd reveal his "true powers" or something but that didn't happen) |
| The episode seemed to move a bit too quickly towards the end, but it was worth it for the great back story. I loved it when the lights went out and then everything was normal again. I hope there's more of that. |

| In my opinion it's very underrated, the story is well told, the characters have their thickness and the designs are excellent. It is never boring and honestly got me involved. 8/10 |
| What in the fuck is up with her bobs? Are those tumors? Who even finds that hot? The cute imouto and the faces she makes is the only reason I see to continue watching this show. |

Meanwhile everyone seems to be taking the bloody bodies, summoned robots, and Shrine Mystery Lore really well. Even blowing up the MC's apartment didn't land anyone in jail. /facepalm |

| Not an especially interesting ensemble of characters at the moment. It's a fairly archetypical selection: the everyguy protagonist exasperated with outlandish happenings in his life, his brash imouto, the nice girl heroine with huge tits, and the psychotic white-haired rival who has a bone to pick with the protagonist. Not to mention that the worldbuilding so far has been somewhat rushed; concepts like "Seki" and "Kakashi", as well as Aki's angsty history with Kyouhei, were just flung at you without setting a stable tone or narrative first. That said, I do like how the characters emote — they have a variety of reactive facial expressions that are distinctive enough to give them some flavour to their personalities, but they're not even close to being exaggerated enough to look ridiculous or tonally destructive. No doubt the solid animation and visually appealing, innocuous artstyle contribute to this. |
