| Okay, well... To be honest, I don't like this anime that much. Neither Viktor nor Yuri are attractive to me AT ALL. They are not very interesting personality-wise either. I mean, they are alright, but I just need some more struggle for the protagonists, everything is too lighthearted to keep me involved with what's happening... The only "emo" character I was hoping for is skating around merrrily in Rusia...oh well v.v Can these characters get more DEPTH please ? Nonetheless I keep watching this show every week. Out of all the anime this season, it is still the only one that slightly interests me... I just can't help to check what they are doing, even if this time i was tempted to skip forward. Usually I'm all for the gay, but in this show it kind of bores me. I don't feel any tension between the (apparently) supposed couple. |

| Yaoi undertones are real. Omg I'm not used to this at all. That onsen scene. I was so flabbergasted. Old man praying (?) and father closing his sons eyes and all. Why is Victor acting like this tho? Is he flirting or just being playful? Is he gay? Is he bisexual? Does he love Yuri? Is this love? Is this just a bait? So many questions. And I'm gonna be the unpopular opinion guy of this fandom and say that I don't ship Victor and Yuri. Also Victor is my least favorite main. Art quality dropped as people said but it's still pretty good. And I expected this anime to be a little bit more serious. I don't know. Aaand Russian Yuri is the best Yuri. Waiting for the inevitable loss but can't he win at least once? Won't they encounter twice? #TEAMYURIO |

| I think the scene with them watching the sea was about Victor trying to playact a role for Yuri's sake and he won't have that. He wants Victor to be himself around him. Not just acting a role. That's why he gets that sad/touched/vulnerable expression afterwards. He feels like exposing his true self to Yuri then. It does confirm Victor is more or less bisexual or gay or pansexual. It doesn't mean he's going to be in a romantic relationship with Yuri. However, Yuri jumping out when he offered that also makes it feel fairly suspicious about what he might be feeling too (maybe hit too close home - because he didn't have this reaction to the other options which he also didn't agree: the 'acting part'). |
| It's nice to see Japanese Yuri get mad, especially when Victor said that Japanese Yuri never had a girlfriend. I kind of get tired of his timidness. I hate Russian Yuri for acting like a stereotypical "bad boy" but I prefer his attitude over Japanese Yuri's sometimes. Then again, they're both annoying (in terms of personality) and have their pros and cons. I'm guessing Russian Yuri meant that his body is going to mature soon and he won't be able to pull off the same moves once he's older? I'm not sure if I got that correctly. Viktor is older but he moves well then again, a lot of athletes retire early so who am I to say anything? |

| Wiewers still deny the growing romance between Victor and Yuuri O_o at least up to ep4! Look at that face! It's a romance, it just happens Yuuri is a man! Where is the problem? I have the same feeling I had with Spice & Wolf season 1 (didn't watched the 2nd yet) concerning the love between Holo and Lawrence. Love is not the main thema of the series, and it would propably never be too obvious but if you watch carefully the episodes you will notice the change in their relationship. But of course it's still possible they remove all of those feelings later, but it would be stupid if they want to sell the DVD/BD! It's better to not begin something if you want to change drastically later on! If it's fanservice, it's pretty bad! Fanservice exist to please all the fans, and up to now, we only had Victor/Yuuri fanservice! Usually we have fanservice with a lot of differents characters in order to make all fan happy! It's often said it's like Free! (or most other sports anime with a lot of male characters) but it's very different! In Free! we can find fanservice with most of the hypothetical couples! Haru/Makoto, Haru/Rin, Nagisa/rei, Rin/Ai and so on... In Yuri on Ice it's ONLY Victor/Yuuri (once again, up to ep4). Why no Victor/Yurio? He's pretty easy to tease Yurio! Btw, Kubo Mitsurou has already confirmed long time ago on Twitter that none of her characters will die! |

| 8/10 (close to 8,5) I really enjoyed this episode. First off: I'm a guy, and i don't like the direction this anime takes. It's just not my thing. But i can overlook that, at least i can up until now. The sports is for me still in the focus and now with the introduction of nationals & the events coming up, i am looking forward to the next episodes even more. I kinda wanna see more of this girl from Detroit. I hope she shows up to one of those events where Yuri performs. : ) |

| In this episode we had some news. New people and stories. Finally Yurio started a real training to achieve what he deserves. I enjoyed the Lilia style, the supreme rigidity needed to inspire an ego as the one of the young skater. On the other hand, we return to the insecurity of our beloved protagonist who revealed the cause of various constraints involving his relationship with Victor. The difficulty of establishing a strong bond was due to his idea that intimacy allowed the knowledge of the weaknesses and failures, two things he definitely did not want to demonstrate to his dear coach. Then we had the introduction of the long awaited "Grand Challenge", at least temporarily, that is the national competition where Yurii must overcome known opponents to get to compete against his rival and finally reach the top of everything and everyone by the end of season, which seems to be the last one of his career. |

| This was the least entertaining of the first 4 episodes, but still good. Nice to see little Yuri's side of the story; I really like him. Also, enough with the naked Viktor scenes. This show is rich in characters and plot; does not actually need this much nudity to fill the void ^_^ |

| The way this show stays relevant to the times using modern-day technology and social media is so amazing! I enjoyed how this is a nice relaxing episode on Yuuri trying to reevaluate and find himself with his new light. That Hasetsu beach scene is so memorable. Also, I seriously can't be the only one that relates to the old man praying in the onsen, right....? "Th- thank you, God..." XD |

| I like that more colours and more scenes of Victor skating was added to the opening theme!! ^^ These small changes alone already had me hyped up!! <3 Can I take a moment to comment on Yuri's phone case? It's adorable!! >< LOL!! Victor's morning greeting was so refreshing!! XDD And I love the way Yuri jumped out of bed and ran to the ice rink. <33 Hehe...when Yuri failed at landing when he jumped... It's so cute that he gushes over having Victor as his coach. XD And he can't look at Victor naked at the hot springs, lol. Victor was literally sitting there stretching with his legs open, omg. XD LOL at the people staring at Yuri and Victor...one man even covered a child's eyes :P Mila and Yurio....I'm going to look forward to this pair!! XD I find it funny that instead of explaining that Yuko is a married mother, Yurio asked Mila if she was horny because she dumped some hockey player... xDD And to think Mila is only 18...she looks older for her age :P Does Yurio call every older woman he is not fond of, a hag?? I like that Lilia ignored his comments and instantly tested him out... :P OMG!! *____* When Yurio took Lilia's hand and said, "If selling my soul is all it takes to win, I'll give you my whole body, no holds barred." <33 OMG. Yurio!! That was such a cool line!! <33 LOL, when Yuri saw Victor skate eros and said he could even make a man pregnant, I feel like Yurio's line here could apply to that as well... :P LOL!! The shock from Lilia!! LOL, she may become my new favourite character!! So unpredictable!! LOL!! Lilia’s "I don't intend to get back together with you" <-- She breathes me life <33 Now I want to know why Yakov and Lilia divorced...or how they even got together in the first place ;P "Your past self is dead!" XDD Wow...Yuri pushed someone away when they tried to comfort him at the hospital? Wow... And I really like the honest conversation between Victor and Yuri. :) But LOL at how casual Victor said, "Then, your boyfriend, I guess. I can try my best" after Yuri declined Victor being a father figure and said nothing to being a brother or friend... xDD And Yuri jumping at that suggestion and refusing it was so precious. I just love that Yuri told Victor to be himself. :)) LOL!! Seeing your idol weak...it made sense why Yuri touched Victor, probably thinking "Is this real??" but poor Victor thought Yuri was saying he may be getting old... xD And Yuri's English when he said "No, no, no! Everything's okay!" and even bowed on his knees continuously to apologize, haha! Does Victor sleep naked..? :c But awe, Yuri apologized to the puppy! I love that Victor is ready to help anytime! :D LOL!! Even though Yuko were scolding her three kids at how late it was, she had the same reaction as them when the assignments were announced!! XD The Nishigori family’s unity and enthusiasm is A+! I'm looking forward to seeing Phichit and Yurio on ice again!! (LOL at Yuri's sister for supporting Yurio on the side...) Wow...it’s been more than six months since the beginning of this series... But hmm...that look Victor gave Yuri while Yurio was being scolded at by Yavok...What was Victor thinking? :c It's so nice to see Yurio's growth!! And Yuri practicing, and just gahh!! The feeling of hope!! Bonus to that preview where Yuri got a nosebleed xDD |

| The last few moments of this episode was really well done. Although, I'm a bit confused about the fact that he said that this'll be his last season as a competitive figure skater.. he's only 23? Isn't Victor 27? Or is it because of his body or something? |

Victor wanted to be Yuuri’s boyfriend? I totally approve that. The hair touch scene was hilarious. Love Victor’s reaction there, so cute. I’m sure your hair didn’t get thin. Don’t worry, Victor. “Sell your soul to win”? No need to go that far I think~ Not gonna lie, Yurio looked quite beautiful in this ep with his hair either up or down. Yuri on ICE is also the name of the piece. Didn’t see that coming. A 5/5 ep for sure. |
