| Funny that someone mention LoTR since it's an exact example of "taking time for world and character building before action stuffs". Just see how many actions are there in first 40 minutes of The Hobbits. A show taking its time for character/world building is a good sign of confidence, and I think the show did a fine job of it. I think you should go back to SAO and enjoy dem timeskip actions, it's a perfect example of a show which abandoned the world building and didn't have any confidence in showing how its main character grow from the bottom. |

| looks like im in the minority of ppl who actually enjoy the slow pacing of Overlord and Rokka ppl are so used to fast paced rushed LN adaptions its actually nice to see them slow down and actually adapt properly a light novel is suppose to give u an image in ur head when u read it and create an atmosphere |
| I've read the light novel and I'm expecting this anime to be one of the top this season. Everyone is complaining too much about pacing because no one cares about character interaction or developement apparently. *insert sarcasm* World Building? Character dynamics? Plot? What's all that dumb shit. I want ACTION ACTION ACTION >_> I'll be laughing at the people that drop this and later find out it's Freaking awesome. ps. You guys complaining are getting your action next episode. DAMN be patient. Also this is not a Harem. I do like this episode more than the first though. Now if only they made Mushoku Tensei into an anime. Though alot of people would complain about the MC |

I haven't read the original source, so I don't have any ideas about how the pacing is there, but so far I personally hasn't been amused/interested in the anime as of yet and the comedy in this episode wasn't quite in my taste either it would seem. But the interaction between the NPCs is definitely a nice thing to have and made it made this episode slightly better than the first one. |

| Here we have a bad ass looking MC but his voice and real personality is that of a pussy. His appearance is a complete facade, he's no different from those boring-as-fuck fucktard MCs in harems and shounen Anime where people follow the MC just because they're the fucking MC, Momonga has no redeeming qualities. I read his qualities in the light novel, he's just another fucking MARTY STU character. The MC doesn't need to eat or sleep, can't be poisoned or killed by conventional means. He has to suppress emotion. Oh, woes me, I can't show emotion but I can fuck my personal harem of NPCs with my skeletor dick because I'm the fucking overlord. Everyone's going to follow me because I'm the fucking MC even with no admirable qualities as a leader. Albedo was reduced to a shoujo-blushing-submissive little dog. Yawn. Seen too many wannabe yanderes like her in both Anime and manga. Shalltear was no different, she's just a flat-chested loli smacked in the series to fulfill the fantasy of pedophiles. Even Misa Amane from Death Note wasn't as annoying as Albedo and that's saying a lot because I fucking hate Misa too. The only reasons guys would like this series is because one of the potential leading ladies is beautiful, has big tits and fawns over the MC. Of course, people would love her, especially straight guys. Who wouldn't want a beautiful, big-tits bitch fawning over them even if they were actual losers in real life. Also another reason they like it is because the MC is such a fucking Marty Stu who is indestructible, it's like No Game No Life all over again with Sora's impenetrable fuckery. They're vicariously living through the MC. Too bad, the OP was really good. I liked it a lot but I'm dropping this bullshit for now and get back to it when I'm bored and have nothing else to watch. No point in watching a SAO-wannabe that tries too hard to be bad ass that it fails miserably. |

That's the settings from the npc's, they are supposed to follow him, and if you haven't noticed he has 2 roles, overlord and his human self which is an obsessed game otaku. | Albedo is honestly an erectile material. what the fuck am i saying. but yeah. putting that aside, i am absolutely in love when the lord flew high above. it was a breathtaking experience. He's also kind to his servants. quite ironic with a face of a skeleton like that but it's good. so far 8/10. loving the nervous-behind-the-scenes feel of the lord. and also, Albedo <3 |

| Well Shalltear's seiyu is quite fitting to her....and I am enjoying how she and Aura rip each other...true Siblings...well their Makers were.. XD I was somewhat worried when in last episodes ending was skipped to Loyalty declaration...well we are seeing the interactions at least in this episode. Yey..I enjoyed that Meeting afterwards scene where Guardians talk between each other after Momoga left...that makes this show more realistic and them more likeable. Oh man...That Change setting in Albedo is freaking hilarious...she is quite Bi-polar!! XD damn Cat-fight between her and Shalltear...Dying on laugh here. Damn this Guardians are worming their ways in my heart!!! They are becoming my Favorites in this Show! ....Momoga....*Sigh* ...He really has to watch his mouth in front of his subordinates!!! Now they are preparing for Taking Over the World!!! XD they took it seriously!!! XD |

| This show still hasn't showed much but i am kind of warming up to it. It seems to have potential and am quite eager to see next episode. Due to the slightly slow pace of this episode though you really got the impression a times that the guy doesn't know what to do with his time. He can't even sleep it seems so he really has to constantly find something important like to do because he also has those subordinates around him that constantly expect awesomeness it seems. | Certain concepts are still far from clear, but certain situations have been clarified, one of them is the relationship between the protagonist and the other characters, Albedo makes me a little scared. Drawings and animations as sufficient quality, we see how it behaves the anime in the next episode. |
