I see you are a berserk reader too xD

So why do you prefer kotor 2 over 1? Its been so long since I played either, but I think I played them both twice but the last playthrough would have been at least 5 years ago..

I saw your comment in the unpopular video game opinions thread ..

funnily enough I just started SWTOR as my first MMO ever, and I'm 24 haha. I had a lot of friends playing them while I was in middle and high school but my dad always refused to let me play them haha. And then after grade school I simply dismissed them as boring grindfests after watching some youtube videos of them.

I only started SWTOR because Knight of the Old Republic is my favorite video game of all time, I hear this game at least has some references to that game , same world, even if its possibly not a direct sequel. I hear the writing and voice acting is great if nothing else, and that opening cut scence was godly haha. I forgot I was playing a video game when watching that and thought I was in a movie theater..

Who knows though, I may be about 10hrs into it and im already starting to feel the grindiness of it .

The only thing I hate about it is the lightsaber combat. When you are hitting enemies it sounds more like you are just fucking waving you lightsaber in the air like an idiot instead of actually making contact with your enemy , that annoys the fuck out of me. =.='

I'm doing fine. On monday I passed an exam I was afraid of and now I can finally enjoy the rest of my summer vacation in peace, so I'm in a best mood I have been in a while.
Yeah, I visit AD regularly, it's an unhealthy habit of mine because it hardly ever brings me any positive emotions x.x

What made it my favourite? Hmmm... way too many things to list. Most importantly, Satsuki is my favourite character by far I haven't found a character this awesome anywhere else. Other than her, well, I love action, and Kill la Kill is packed with the best action I've seen in anime, it's also very fast-paced, something is happening at all times, not even a second of it is boring, and there are some really good plot-twists. The visuals are quite unique and a real eye-candy for me. Everything is over the top, crazy and silly. All of it - together with great music composed by Sawano Hiroyuki, the guy who composed for Shingeki no Kyojin, Guilty Crown and MS Gundam Unicorn.
If you like action, fast pace and mad OTT content you're gonna fkin love it.

I like Ping Pong's artyle too but I think some things like this could've been avoided if the budget was higher. xD

I remember going there when I did that BoS quest, some pretty hauting stuff. Realizing that their sacrifices were useless must've been pretty disturbing. Thanks for sharing the video. The hubologists are still pretty fresh in my mind hahah.

Never was much of a DragonBall fan, even when it aired on TV in my country when I was younger. As far as I remember, the only anime that I liked back than were Saint Seiya and Yu Yu Hakusho.

That's okay. :-)

Funny to see how Madoka herself has over 2000 favorites on MAL and she doesn't do anything in the show other than doing nothing. Yeah, the priest's daughter and that girl who liked the musician guy and got crazy were all really shallow. Definitely agree with you there... If only Ping Pong had the same budget of Madoka everything would be better.

Don't have much to argue agaisnt your opinion, I think the movie just didn't work for me. It must've been very sad to watch Texhnolyze and Grave of Fireflies on the same day. :(

For me, Code Geass has some cool action scenes, the animation is pretty great and has some cool songs, but, other than that, it's bad. I enjoyed the first season as dumb fun but the second season was just so over the top and stupid that I couldn't care about it anymore. I also hate the fanboys saying that Code Geass ' is so deep and mature' and 'lelouch best fictional characters evah'.

Started playing New Vegas all over again and I'm really hyped for the DLCs, especially Dead Money (I only played Honest Hearts before).

Looks good, I guess I'll put it up on my "priority list". Tell me your thoughts when you finish it!

You're right, I never understood the hype behind it. This 3rd Madoka Movie seems like the most pretentious thing ever lol.

I don't like how they victimize Japan and portray the US as the bad guys. Japan commited many horrible wars crimes in Asia during WW2 and their government never apologized for it even today. Ignoring those crimes made me feel that the movie was manipulative.
The drama was, at least for me, pretty forced and I couldn't care about Seita and found his decisions during the movie to be kinda dumb. Even though admit that I shed a tear or two by the ending, because I'm a crybaby, I find it very overrated, but I'll give it a 4 now because it's not bad as Code Geass R2 and Deadman Wonderland.

Does Gunnm live to hype?
I read the first volume One Punch Man a long time ago but I don't remember anything about it other than being kinda cool. I'll probably just watch the anime then, it seems better than 90% of the shows next season.

Oyasumi Punpun is one of the most well crafted and executed manga that I read. You see the MC growing as he deals with themes such as depression and sex in a very remarkable way, always filled with a quirky sense of dark humor. It can be pretty depressing, because nothing good happens on it xD, but it still, in some way, keeps you wanting to know how things will turn up.

Hey, cool to see that you gave Madooka a 4. Marathoned the 12 episodes in one day and, when I finished, I though I just wasted 6 hours of my life watching that edgy pretentious moeshit.

Hum, seems pretty good. I think I'll try to test the fist one to eventually play both, altoguh the plot for the 2nd one seems quite better, in the near future if I use my time wisely.

Mind Game is definitely one of Masaaki Yuasa's weirdest works, alongside with Kaiba. The begginng can be quite a drag, but after he gets shoot in his butthole he meets "God" and then everything starts getting crazier and more fun. Not sure if you'll like though but it was a great experience for me.

I recently finished Akagi and really enjoyed it. You have to know some Mahjong's rules and hands to understand the anime better but it's not that complicated. I'd recommend you to check it out along with other Noboyuki Fukumoto's works such as Kaiji.

Thanks, but I can't really get into medieval RPG. KotOR seems neat, how many hours of gameplay? Can you play the 2nd one with playing the 1st?

I don't have any of those new gen consoles too. I played Life is Strange those days and I think it's kinda average, but it leans definalty more towards the good side.

As for my favorite games:
Silent Hill 2 - Visuals that are great even today *at least by my standarts*, great dialogue and characters, awesome soundtrack, has deep themes and handles them in a very subtle and mature way, but maybe I'm a "little" biased.
Fallout 1, 2 and NV - No need to explain.
TWD s1 - Got me into the comic books, not perfect but gave me dem feelz.
Red Dead Redemption - One my first games for the PS3, cool athmosphere, fun gameplay, great ending.

Pleb taste here, but I think that's okay.

Funny pic there, even though it's a bit nitpicky, but some things like how they get food in FO3 if the land can't grow shit are hilarious.

Never played none of Bioware games (I think you're referring to Mass Effect) but yeah, the voiced character will limit the gameplay a ton. I searched about this romance with companions thing and lol it looks like it'll pretty bad.

I don't really care much about games nowdays, I mostly play some "old" stuff but only sporadically. The games that I finished were Silent Hill 1-4 and the first one is pretty good, the 2nd was one of the best games I've ever played in my life, the 3rd was meh but kinda fun and the 4th was painful to finish because the gameplay was shit but the plot was pretty cool.
Vortx_ Jul 27, 2015 6:48 AM
What are your thoughts on the masterpiece that is Utsu Musume Sayuri? xD

I really recommend replaying them. Replayed Fallout 2 those days and it was one most fun experiences I had with gaming, although Fallout 2 plot is a bit messy, to say the least.

Yeah, NV is great. I like how it's kind of the true sequel to Fallout 2 and the main plot was best of all the franchise. I still like Fallout 3, but that's probably beacause it was my first Fallout game and I haven't played it after finishing 1, 2 and Vegas. But I agree that some dialogue, like when you talk to that Eden guy ('i think you should blow urself up' 'okay man dont sweat it') and the way they handled the factions can be stupid.

Not too excited myself. Seems like Bethesda will spend too much time creating things I don't care, like more crafting for guns, more crafting for that "tower defense" thingie against raiders and new Power Amor that seems a tad gimmicky and dumb. I also dislike how it seems that they'll bring the old factions like Enclave, BoS and mutants back to the game because Bethesda has that idea that a Fallout game can't be a true Fallout game without them. How do you fell about it?

Great taste, m8.
But, still, Fallout 2 > New Vegas.
