| The episode was very interesting. Takumi being the messed up person he is, made it much more interesting. | This anime is really weird. The main character is relly messed up. He's talking to his imaginary anime heroine like to a normal person, yet thinks that a girl is trying to manipulate him using his anime addiction and is afraid of her. But the incidents that occur are horrific. Especially with that boy with a fetus inside... ugh, gross. I don't know how he'll handle this madness without freaking out. |

While I'm also interested in the whole 'who's watching him' stuff, I think it was something about the way the whole episode connected (or failed to connect) that turned me off. I also want to find out more about which visions he sees are real and whatnot, but...too much of these seemingly bland female characters won't be the greatest thing =/ |

| This has so much freakin' potential it could be the best show of all 2008. While the whole "sono me, dare no me" thing appears to be a mystery that won't be solved anytime soon, I'm entranced by Takumi's connection to real life as if it were an eroge. Not only is this genuinely disturbing, but it's taking material covered in NHK and Boogiepop to the unexplored extreme. The murder-mystery just sweetens the deal. The otaku makes me sick and the future haremettes are all uncomfortably creepy. Finally, disillusionment and guilty pleasure rolled into one! Also, this show has the best brand-renaming style ever. Future predictions: If that Coke bottle indirect kiss hallucination was any hint of foreshadowing, Taku's gonna wanna screw his little sister by the end of this. *waits in eager anticipation for next week's installment* |

| For a good reason I can see this series turning into either a Magical Girls show or something equivalent to "Yumeria". Hopefully neither will happen. I have not read the manga so I can only say what I think about the one episode. I like the feel it has right now, so I will continue watching. I want to know WTH is going on lol. |

I am no psychology expert though, i just have common sense in it and know this is an anime so it might not make perfect sense. I think it would be interesting if they come up with a name of a mental problem he has(a real one not a made up one), i would prefer that over him getting called an obsessive otaku or a hikikomori and not explain anything as why hes like that. confused_kitsune said: I have mixed feelings about this. | Finally a show that shows what an otaku/hikikomori would do if he encountered a harem of girls or a mass murderer. The opening and ending were amazing in my opinion, even though the ending was weird I still liked it. I have extremely high hopes for this anime and the game when they finish the translation for it. |
| I lol'd watching the first episode because it really tried to pretend to be a show that has substance and if it follows the Visual novel, then most of the people who think it's "Deep" will be really disappointed. |

| This show was amazing! It represented the awkward reclusive otaku so well. That is completely right, just like Welcome to the NHK! The music was great. Except for the ED. It was okay, but didn't feel right for the show at all. But I guess that is why they decided to go with it. I will be following this show. It's definately the best one of the season. |
