No problem! I use the PS chat as an alternative to WhatsApp and Messenger. It's especially useful for sharing and viewing shared screenshots from the PS4. The mobile app also makes it easy to track others as they game while allowing easy text-based conversation while playing games.

Same. I don't discuss much regarding anime nowadays outside of a few good friends. I still continue watching seasons as they air though, so as to not get overwhelmed looking at shows when they're already completed. Thankfully, Corona may have actually unlocked my dormant self and set me back into top form. I don't remember watching 50+ eps in a week for years, as in probably since 2013 or 2014. I should have at least 80-90 ep pace for this week, so long as FF7 doesn't slow me down. This is as bizarre as it is refreshing to say the least.

I have no answers to the group issues myself, so lmk if you ever do come up with something on your end.

All right. Hopefully you'll get around to it. I don't mind if there are multiple parts or even if they all cost full price. If the game is quality than I'll shell out quality (as in good money) myself!

It was great as an open-world game, though the story and the weapon upgrade system left a lot to be desired. But that's what happens when good JRPG spoil everything else for you. Honestly though, it was one of the more memorable games I've played over the years and had quite a bit to extract with the enemies and combat system. It was pretty cool hijacking all the enemies and making use of their parts. Plus there was a lot of room and variety with terrain throughout the map. Tales could use a lesson there with elevation changes and whatnot! Hmmm, maybe I'll get to The Last of Us sometime in the future, though I've always heard good about it. It's like one of those games that the average gamer has expected you to play or at least know about, which unfortunately neither fit the bill for me.

No idea what the whole craze with toilet paper is, although I'll admit it has versatility outside of the bathroom. Yup. Spring is pretty much here! I'm still pretty anti-social myself, but I really like to go one-on-one with conversations. Any more people than that and usually I'll stay quiet and let others do the hard work talking as I observe or nod in affirmation. Still, I don't like the idea of staying home so frequently, as it reminds me of simpler, yet also unproductive times. At least I may be able to have one last gasp of possibly getting back into proper anime form though!

I went riding around the other day since I had business to take care of. Never saw so many cars parked on the sides of roads and so many people out and about exercising or getting into the water (since you're not allowed to loiter around on the sand). Also, everyone here also compliments the silver lining that is having no traffic during our daily rush hours. Relatively speaking, there are still a lot of vehicles on the road, but the action isn't slowed up at all.

Got my preorder in for the base FF7R hard copy, as I'm assuming the deluxe editions or whatnot were wiped out the first day of availability. That along with the racing game I was looking at over the past two years (Assetto Corsa Competizione) being announced on console are bright spots of what has been a rather disappointing 2020 overall thanks to the pandemic. I do wonder how different of an experience it will be for the people who played the original 20+ years back. Nonetheless, I hope my experience here is similar to what I went through when playing NieR, even if it turns me into a fiend/zombie over the course of one or two weeks!

Damn. Still nothing new on ToA? I wonder if that game will be held out for the PS5 launch at this rate. Anyway, I do agree there in having more meaningful weapons and armor sets. Just reminds me of how much more management I had to do with gear in Vesperia as opposed to Berseria, which was mainly about farming material, making the items, then just discarding everything you had previously and being bored in the endgame. It's going to be something for this series to finally make the move into the modern era and look more along the lines of games I played like NieR, Horizon, God of War, and now Final Fantasy.

It hits me hard with sports being my primary form of entertainment and sometimes means for solace. Honestly doesn't feel too much different though than the usual, but I'll hold my judgment there as shops around the island are beginning to cut hours or close entirely for the time being. A few cases of breakouts as well, but nothing close to breaching my threshold for concern. But man, people do get nuts here when disasters or outbreaks occur! There was madness for toilet paper and hand sanitizer especially, which although I do understand the situation is still rather head-scratching to see. Anyway, stay safe out there! If you're gonna engage in social distancing or whatever that stupid new trendy buzz phrase is, make sure you do it damn right with proper games, anime, hobbies, or work!

I remember Nier Automata giving you something along the lines of that in providing a means to backtrack and complete all the quests (and the game in full) as you wish. And yeah, unless you really want to play Vesperia again and venture beyond the main storyline you're likely to miss out on a lot.

Maybe less enemies and more complexion and variation to the open-field areas would do the trick. There was really no variance in elevation and the areas were just too predictably flat and open. The towns were nice though from what I remember, especially the one that was on a slope with a harbor. I don't mind be buried in gear, but it needs to have significance like what Vesperia provided in terms of learning new abilities and some items still possessing an elemental edge. Iirc, Berseria had pretty much all-means end-game weapons that made all the previous equipment irrelevant. Berseria did show a little of potential with customization, but as you suggested needed more outfits and more options to change colors with specific sections and trim on items.

Damn. That virus is really doing a lot of damage out there and to all the forms of entertainment I follow in anime, sports, racing, and also Tales of Arise. No wonder we still haven't been really fed anything about it lately. My view on the whole outbreak is even more messed up because it came around the time where a friend had me looking at Resident Evil stuff.

I'm surprised at how entertaining On Parade is even with 2-3 performances crammed into each episode on average. Shows how far the 3D animation and background visual effects have come since the beginning of Aikatsu. But yes, at the cost of story and character progression On Parade is really hitting it home with star power and the chemistry among every season's biggest idols. As you said, they do get along and work together very well.

Same. I'm just going in blind with everything I play for full effect. I commend you for going all out on platinum trophies because it takes quite a bit of preparation and execution to pull everything off. I just pre-ordered a new Galaxy phone so I think I'll make sure to stay away from this Azur Lane game you speak of. My friend was showing me MapleStory on his mobile phone and its safe to say that's not getting downloaded on my phone either. The past I had with the game scarred me real good... haha

Really hope Arise isn't like Vesperia in this aspect. Vesperia just seems impossible to complete properly without a full-on guide or criminal levels of trial-and-error. Also hoping it's not as basic as Berseria was with its grindy system to acquire and upgrade weapons. I'm sure it will look prettier and have a lot more complexion to the environments you traverse though! But nonetheless, character dynamic and narrative I expect to be top-notch like those two other Tales games I've played. Possibly more means and options for character customization too? But yeah, looking forward to it all!

Yeah, the one silver lining or saving grace with KnJ is Wakaba Harukaze. She might actually be one of my faves from the entire series and is responsible for me catching Wakaba fever throughout stretches of KnJ's run. But wow does On Parade really bring everyone together! I feel like I went over my head saying that Friends had undoubtedly the best cast from top to bottom. That may still hold true for me, but seeing Ran, Akari, Laura, Yume, Ichigo, Ako, and the many idols I didn't name once again is making me reconsider that statement. On another note, while Yurika and Sumire were present in that episode from the other week, I wouldn't say they made a proper return just yet. They've yet to really interact with the others and weave themselves into the whole story here, as they were really just present as actors for a movie filming. Oh, and it seems even the males are making return appearances as well. This show is seriously hot right now!

Chihayafuru is amazing. I forgot to give the nod to that series on my last comment, seeing that it's been about 6-7 years since S2. It's as dramatic as ever and the romantic developments have finally begun to really stir. Somali and Runway may be good, but you'll have to see for yourself or look elsewhere as I'm no longer tuned into either. Nonetheless, this has been one of the most entertaining seasons for me in a long time.

So what? Are you waiting on Tales of Arise, YS IX, FF7 Remake, and other games this year? I was bored a few weeks back and decided to pop Vesperia back into my PS4 almost a year after I previously last played it. I did the whole AFK (auto battle) trick to amass enough grade to potentially have a go at NG+, but seeing how much management and timing (for quests) the game requires made me quickly jump ship on the idea. Would have to get a few more Fell Arms in the Necropolis area and fight Duke again as well. Better to save myself for the FF7 Remake and finally, after all these years, get a shot at playing something from the series...

Yikes! Hope you find a way to get back atop all of it. I'd say with anime overall maybe not too much, but this season and the last one especially have been a nice throwback to the good series of early last decade like Psycho-Pass, Madoka, Fate, and Railgun. As for Aikatsu, Friends (including KnJ) honestly didn't amount to much merit on its own, but holy crap has the series ever caught fire like it has with On Parade! I still have to watch the latest episode as of this comment, but that episode should mark the return of both Sumire and Yurika into the spotlight. But man, the chemistry is off the charts between the older and newer idols! Too much to put into words here...

But yeah. With Kagayaki no Jewel the quality and charm Aikatsu is generally known for went off a cliff. It was the first time possibly ever that I didn't look forward to watching new episodes. This ongoing Parade one might be bringing back the magic again, but I'm treading more carefully this time around.

Twitter would be nice for fast and concise news updates, and also with what you mention about streamers and such. But yeah, I'm not sure how many people I know use it and I feel the other platforms are better for personal communication and file-sharing. As for my mention of Facebook previously, I'll probably increase my usage rate of it because of a local motorcycle group page I was recommended to by a passing customer (who rides motorcycles) at work. The group hosts group rides every first Sat of the month, apparently. And to make things more fun, it's headed by the person who towed my bike to the shop when I couldn't start it initially after acquiring it.

The heck? Never would've known since my creative thinking has taken so much of a nose-dive. I think I've fallen into that true hack-n-slash mindset where I don't even stop to think about things like elements or tactics. Don't worry about me though, since I've gotten bored enough (being sarcastic here) to pick up some Motion Controllers to play Beat Saber and am finding a slight resurgence playing the racing game I've been playing for years.

Damn. If I ever do find a special someone I wonder what kinds of personal fetishes I will subject them to. I still want to test the infamous toothbrush scene from Nisemonogatari, but for outfits or hairstyles I really have no idea! Judith and Estelle types of outfits might be overkill to have your gf or wife wear, but we'll see! haha

Emojis look feasible with Twitter, but unfortunately I don't have an account there and probably never will have one. All of these social media platforms have too many potential abuses and are tied negatively to the current political climate especially. So all in all I prefer to lay low and refrain from using any of them aside from FB on occasion. But damn is FB bombarded with ads and challenging to follow people and posts!

I'll admit that I was thinking about it around the time you dropped your comment, but couldn't convince myself to follow through on it. I don't think I cared much for the desert arc from what I can recall, though the Belius fight was quite fun. That also reminds me of a bad taste it left on my first attempt though, since instead of saving prior to that whole sequence leading up to the fight I visited the inn instead (to recover health). There were no save points onward and I got run over by the two Belius monsters. My mistake was trying to down the lamps, not being aggressive in battle, and probably having the incorrect lineup and strategy for the party. I then had to reload from a save point in the cave you travel through after exiting the desert. I was so damn angry afterward that I needed a long nap to calm down and recollect myself. As for Cumore he's still one of the biggest bums I remember in the game, so thankfully he bit the dust later on.

I'm running into a bit of a roadblock for the time being with Instagram being mobile-oriented. It means I need to find some middle-man program like Dropbox to get shots from the camera/computer uploaded to my page. That along with the square format makes for a bit of a challenge to work around. But yes, hashtagging is important since it can expand your audience greatly or lead people to others' pages to view their works. Emojis I'll get around to someday, but for now I'm too prideful and old-school for that. I have some fun rules I employ like using an emoji maybe once in a blue moon. Another is not using the "lol" acronym outside of quoting or stating an example. If you ever get into a conversation and I respond with an "lol," THAT'S NOT ME! haha Anyway, there's also WhatsApp as well if you want a more private or personalized sharing experience. It's quite a chore to pick images to upload to sites and such.

Hmmm. All right. It's not likely I'll get around to Zestiria, but I'll keep your thoughts in mind every time I go to the store and see that game on the shelf. That being said, I think I'll save my patience for the next console-based Tales game.

Yeah, I bought my gear last April. Back in 2013 I remember watching the second season of Tamayura and thinking that if I ever were to get a camera it would be a Pentax. Nevertheless, fast forward to April 2018 and there I was contemplating a gray K-70 to look like the camera Kanae Mitani had, but the black was cleaner and more suitable for the black Takata camera strap I wanted. I know Takata is no good for airbags, but they are still renowned for their belt harnesses. Anyway, I was very lackadaisical with using my gear, at least until after I got the motorcycle. Once I Photoshop my next profile picture (which you will also see here), I will officially launch my Instagram featuring my favorite shots from last year and earlier this year. Time to read up on uploading and hashtags!

Man! Don't entice me to play Zestiria! Is it really that bad of a game though? But man, I'm somewhat curious now because of your mentions of Edna and having heard a small bit about her in Berseria. I envy you having those two as figures, as well as the other nice ones you have. Nothing wrong with high standards for figures! Just means you be paying them high prices though... haha

And maybe you need more male characters to balance things out. I only have female ones myself because those are all figures my Japanese friend gave me. I've yet to buy anything for myself because I'm a bum.

I'm the opposite right now. My bank account is sad and I'm happy. Well, maybe not over Valentine's Day and such, but I've been getting back into the flow of photography and motorcycling slowly.

Do you have figures from other Tales games? Heck, how big is your figure collection anyway? Maybe one of these days I'll buy one of these expensive figures, but honestly I wouldn't know which one to buy. I say one because if I buy two or three the consequences down the road could be devastating. I'd be looking at more figures than I can count on two hands within a few years! But yes, I would like to see all of the main characters from not just Vesperia, but all the big Tales games represented properly. Patty deserves one as well since she's rather cool (outside of her occasional cheesy remarks).

Maybe some day! But for my well-being I'm probably better off saving my energy and enthusiasm for the next Tales game.
