| The hunting dogs are pretty initimadating and I am happy our favourite detectives awere able to escape until now. The port mafia deus ex machina moment certainly helped but whether Chuuya alone will be able to manage this, I do not know. He would certainly be more helpful with Dazai backing him up. |

| A good but not great episode. I could have used a bit less hyperbole from the Hunting Dogs. As for the ending, where that blind guy Saigiku Jouno "did not hear gunfire" but apparently failed to hear an entire big-ass helicopter... yeah... OK 👎🏼 I'm intrigued by where that book comes from and what can it do though. I assume it must be the manga the anime is based on (i.e. 4th wall breaking or metafiction). Not so sure though that conjuring a knife on someone's hand out of thin air and/or teleporting them to frame them as murderers is "narratively coherent"... I'm also not sure how the entire "Shoot first ask questions later" way the Military Police and their Hunting Dogs operate is considered remotely justifiable. So the Hunting Dogs are judges, jury and executioners all in one?? |

| Kunikida is mad considerate in a life-and-death situation. Hunting dogs pulled up like Ginyu Force. These guys are kinda insane. I genuinely was worried about the agency members in front of such a powerful opponent. Chuuya to the rescue was dope. Hyped to see the Port Mafia in action again and we need the Guild too. |

| Where were these "Hunting Dogs" and extensive military countermeasures every time the Port Mafia committed a crime in previous seasons? Nowhere? Now we're lead to believe punctual and effective law enforcement exists, after it was inexplicably absent before? I don't buy it. Atsushi's foot being stuck in the ground is hilarious. Everyone else at this point is a superhuman who can break the earth into fragments by curling their toes, but his partial tiger transformation with enhanced strength can't even make it budge? |
