| An improvement over the last episode, we learn a bit more about the situation, we can start to suspect some things already and the best new we had is that in the next chapter we most likely will see the flashback and Riko will have 0 screen time, 7.5/10. PD: Please people, calm down! |

| Sure does have a lot of guts spilling in this episode. From dead unborn animals that still moves. To little pink pet getting it's butt squeezed out. To some poor Pink Hollow getting ripped into pieces cause of some weird "value" (balancing) going on... To Riko doing more pooping (not really guts, but it fits I guess), LOL ___ ___ ___ Well... if what ppls said about Faputa is right, I guess it's been something like 30~50+ years in between the Flashback suicide squad party and Riko's party. And judging by what that weird horse-looking hollow, the entire squad couldn't find a way to get deeper into the layer or something and they all decide to just end up living on 6th layer for a while as humans (since it seems some of them reproduced) then later live as Hollows on the 6th layer... Also, while the 6th layer hollows remained some human intelligence, it seems that they all pretty much lost all previous human knowledge and only a few can speak human language. I wonder if this Faputa retained her human knowledge... judging by how she seems to be extremely intelligent and can use human techniques such as tracking, writing and even sewing. Plus, they also said she can come and go as she please, that means Faputa is most likely on the same league as Nanachi. That isn't restricted to only living inside the weird village thing as they said they can't leave. (which means Faputa is also a "blessed") |

| An eerie and gruesome episode. I'm finding this arc to be quite interesting so far, especially the split timeline. The only minor problem I have is the whole shitting thing like why does the mangaka keep writing those scenes. |

| This is the most graphical, disgusting, but fuck it, let this series do whatever the shit they want because that's what I love about Made in Abyss as a whole. They deliver uncanniness for the sake of showing emotion and tragedy, they have the guts I'll tell you that. What is the meaning of beauty? Still shown in the whole scenery and the built-up for Faputa, the new character that appeared at the end of the episode is left to be desired with the building itself. I legit had to close my eye when they showcase the creature's ass and when they were inputting and outputting the parts of it. |

| Thievery really isn't up my alley but I still wouldn't stay in that village. The thought of unintentionallly taking value and being stripped of flesh, bone and hair in case payment does not sufficeis just mind boggling. Lot's of horror elements this episode. Hopefully, next episode is a bit more wholesome but Reg's and the princesses encounter have me worried. Bet there is a good reason for the other hollows to stay behind that barrier. |
