| This anime was a total surprise for me. I watched just about everything this season has to offer and was looking for something else, not even comedy in particular. Boy am I glad I stumbled upon this. Since around episode 4 or 5, I just can't stop holding my laughter at 2am in the morning. The comedy was epic but the OSTs, artstyle and the quality of the drawing is just beautifully made as well. Been a while since I've laughed so much watching an anime. |
| It was a good show. Comedy is usually good, solid themes and characters. Reminds me of my high school and college days. Hard for me to decide a score though. Either a 7 or 8. With this sort of story, how I feel about this season would depend on how the rest of the story played out. |

| It's no exaggeration to peg this as one of the best series of the season. Humor in anime has always been hard to pull off, but I honestly haven't laughed as much as I did watching Grand Blue for a long time. Somewhat more impressively, it still managed to keep the plot going with a serious tone as needed. Feels just right, I'd say, and that's really commendable on the part of the artist. |
| I'm not as high on the anime adaptation as the rest of you (7/10), but this was definitely a good anime. -Funny -Good binge watch -Beautiful shots -Ridiculousness I'd say it's the ideal slice of life comedy for any summer. I can't imagine watching this in a month like November or February, but if you put this on in the middle of June then I'll be filled with joy. I admit, I was considering dropping this after episode 3. I just didn't see the hype. It was just "good" for me, and it was to the point where "good" wasn't good enough for me and I'd rather use my time doing other things. I watched episode 4 anyways, and it really changed my tune about this show. Episode 4 all the way to the episode 12 were just great and funny episodes. Really made me laugh and I came to appreciate the humor. (I never had a problem with the male nudity, always thought it was funny) Basically, it only being a great watch in the summer for me, and also not enjoying episodes 1-3 bring the score down for me. Although, I'd consider watching this again in December and seeing if I changed my feelings. Definitely will read the manga. I'm interested in seeing how the story ends up going. Chisa is definitely the girl he's going to end up dating, right? Although Cakey also seems like a strong candidate. |

| Agree to all the messages! Enjoyed episode, as all anime, only wantes to get the Iori and Chisa would get better and interesting grow in relations, cuz Chisa seems to be fancy Iori, but can't feel him awkwardness and getting drunk all the time. |
| That was a really good watch, that I was able to binge-watch the whole anime in one sitting. First few episodes were really funny but I just felt that it became a little bit repetitive towards the final episodes with no real plot progression going on. Overall, this anime isn't really that bad but it hasn't provided anything special either. I also can't help but compare this to Prison School, this one was just in a diving club setting, minus the lewdness of course. Even some of the characters share the same personalities. Edit: After getting caught up with the manga a day after finishing the anime, I do feel a bit ignorant with my previous comment. I still stand with my opinion that the anime didn't really provided anything special at first but Iori and the gang really grew on me. Also, Chisa is just adorable. |

| What a bummer, Iori didn't get his diving license... Chise showing her tsundere side, she could be cute from times to times and she cares about Iori despite how she acts torwards him. The sake part really killed me tho lmao, wouldn't mind if they add some romance to this series to spice things up since it has potentials, but i think it is already good at its own way, it was enjoyable the whole times especially the facial expressions and silly gag. Overall score 7/10, wouldn't mind for a 2nd season, it'll be refreshing forsure |

| This was a good entertaining show. A lot of comical moments and even though there wasn't much of a story considering the SOL genre it was quite enjoyable. I kind of feel like Nanaka is partially responsible for Iori not being able to get the license. Because as an instructor she should help him when he's struggling instead of demoralising him. Especially when Iori is not completely comfortable with swimming but the author brushes the blame off her by pointing Iori's own stupidity as the reason which I felt was unfair. I also didn't like the overuse of exhibitionism and alcohol usage. The author really needs to tone it down as it can send a wrong message to the viewers and readers. Otherwise I would've given this show an 8/10. |

| Chika Anzai really is the best cast for Chisa. fucking unreal performance by her. Gotta say though, the VA's for Kohei and Iori grew on me and enjoyed this more when I binge watched than weekly |

| you know a show is good if you finish it within a day gonna look forward to the BD because it seems like the censoring (apart from being terrible) isn't really part of the comedy as for the series, I give it a 8.5/10 not as good as BakaTest when it comes to the animation but still deserving of a second season need help choosing best girl aaaaaaaghhh |

| not as much fun as id hoped. guess the comedy wasnt my cup of coffee like with other more recent comedy anime. watching the show with 'brain power: on' made me realize that the show only had 3 eps of actual diving, and 9 eps of needless drunkiness. |

| season 2 when...?? probably never... it was a nice change from the antics revolving aroung preadolescent school goers which dominates the medium nowadays.. simple,fun,and alluring in its own way. iam going to surely miss Iori and his tomadachis a lot.. Also top notch OP and ED.. well time to read the manga |

| The last episodes were much better, because those 4 idiots from their class were not around anymore. Last episode was not the best, but alright. Overall it wasn't as funny or fanservicey as I hoped it would be and a lot of jokes were more annoying than funny. It had its good moments though, so I would feel bad rating it worse than a 7/10. Best girl Azusa alone is probably worth a point anyway, always enjoyed her scenes the most. So a 7/10 it is, wouldn't mind a 2nd season or OVA. |
