I think as I continue to watch more anime then I will be able to rate more on the 1-10 scale.

3 This was terrible, & it'd be better if this never existed. You only watched this completely because you were bored.
4 - You watched this because you had hope, but ultimately left in disappointment. Maybe the story had promise or the characters were likable, but something kept you along to watch it.
5 - There was something you enjoyed. Still pretty forgettable, but not a waste of time.
6 - I liked it. Didn't regret watching at all. Probably had a good message, was a guilty pleasure, or the story was pretty interesting.
7* - This is good. It can be worth a 2nd watch, but doesn't transcend its season. However, still can be memorable.
8 -This is great, and I would watch again easily. I'd recommend. Transcends its season.
9 - One of the best things I've watched. Elite tier anime.
10 - Perfect, or very close to being perfect. Or at least in my heart it is.

Low-7 - On the edge of "would I really watch this a 2nd time?" and "Yeah, I could see myself watching a 2nd time."
Mid-7 - Stone cold Seven. No doubt about it.
High-7 - It has 8-tier moments, but it does not hold the consistency of a truly 8-tier anime.
