| Interesting to see no one is complaining about "yet another battle royale anime," while people were so quick to complain about "yet another stuck in a fantasy world/isekai anime." Anyway, this first episode was okay. I know they are trying to be unique by killing off Boar (at least seemingly), who we followed for the entire first episode, but it was a bit too anticlimatic. Unless there is a zodiac that has bs healing power, Boar better die, since it wouldn't make sense for Rabbit to not deal a fatal blow while he had the advantage. |

| This was a really good episode. I enjoyed the Boar's backstory, showing what kind of a jealous psycho she really is. The animation is smooth and exciting, and I really like the character designs. Looking forward to next week. |
| Does not seem promising... The first episode while beautifully animated, was frankly a mess. Backstory is nice, but when its a battle royale with twelve characters maybe it would be nice to get a bit more of them. The whole thing with the boar at the end was pretty disappointing as well. |

| well that was Certainly violent ... knew after all the focus and back story they were gonna kill off Boar this always happens and i bet that old man and this rabbit thing are gonna make it to the end ,would've been more salty if she was more of a big boss clone and less of a sociopathic crazy bitch. for now this just seems like Etotama + killing game with some impressive visuals lol..how odd |

| I will say I really liked the animation, most specifically the fights that were shown. Wow, the blond chick (I'm not even gonna try to write her name) was a manipulative bitch towards her sister. Overall, I thought this was a good start. Hope it'll get better as the show goes on. |
| I was expecting from the beginning that the boar would die, so according to her, she was one of the best around them, right? sigh* too much bla bla plus an annoying personality. Pretty meh episode... I hope the boar to not die... I mean, too much background building just to being killed in the first episode? I would find it kinda pointless. |

Etotama with more violence dark scene the pacing is alright, the animation is good. we get to know Boar backstory... well, too bad what happened in the end... that usagi have same ability with Akame's little sister from akame ga kill right?? he kills someone and make them his "doll" really cool |

| This show seems right up my alley to be honest and i quite enjoyed it, the rabbit dude seems to be the most crazy one so far which i like and the giant bunny tail makes it more hilarious. That being said the MC chick dying at the end already i did not see coming at this early of a series |

| Initial thoughts: -what is with that random animation dip 1:50 in.... nevermind they keep doing it... maybe its meant to look this way..... ok i kinda like this animation style now, at least its no longer annoying me -I rather like some of these character designs. the Monkey/ and the Usagi dude... "it wasnt me... dont start suspecting me without proof" just great. -okay.. chinese zodiac... and The Great Zodiac Race? could be interesting.. could be crap. - gore and violence.... uh.. okay.. seems excessive. but i cant look away out of curiosity. -cool sakuga in several moments.. like when the floor fell thru Im not ruling it out quite yet. but it was DEFINITELY leagues better than Black clover.. i couldnt stand the incessant Cawing.. if this goes in some unseen cool direction it could be a favorite for the season... but i doubt itll be my personal best. Since this first episode was above average at best. 7/10 |
| Ah, I shouldn't have judged by the titles. I still had this and Sengoku Night Blood left to watch. So at dinner, I picked the one with the least gory-sounding name. What a spoiled meal. T_T Urm, anyway, not so much my particular favorite type of anime, but I'll watch the next episode (or two) anyway. The Bunny Guy is kinda hot in a psychotic kind of way. Because there's A FUCKTON of isekai shows and there's a FUCKTON of isekai shows that are BAD and there's a FUCKTON of isekai shows that are nigh identical to each other, while there's really not that many battle royale shows. | voice actor greatt choices you got hayami saori as monkey and hikasa yoko as the boar 2 of my favss i enjoyed the first eps animation was great and i like the artstyle when its free flowing in coherence to the animation(it can be improved a tad bit tho) otherwise im looking forward to whats to come and learning more about this competition |

| Really liked it, I hope they continue the senseless violence, it would be quite disappointing if we get someone preachy like saber from fate zero as MC. This could become the "battle Royal" series I was looking for . Just a slaughterfest with no self-righteous MC and the constant preaching. |
| So Inounoshishi had quite a hard training regime from her father it seems. But even as a teenager her skills really was impressive. So each house would send the best to fight in this battle royal then. So even before the battle starts there is already a death. So those poison will act to kill you should the contest last longer than 12 hours then. One hell of a incentive to fight seriously though. So turning her sister from a positive and popular girl to a insane heartless killer was the revenge that she wanted then. Monkey's proposal sure is interesting. But the floor split was impressive. The two's declaration at the end was entertaining but this was an impressive first episode actually and man that ending was such a twist. |

Nisio Isin is known for great characters, anticlimactic endings and tons of dialogue/monologue. Otherall his writing style is rather unique. |
