I just want to know more about Progressive Rock and Jazz, those are the two genres I desire to gain as much knowledge as I do in Metal. Pretty cool to hear you were a vocalist in a Metal band during Highschool, I've never been nor formed one due to my lack of musical ability but I'm glad to hear those were good times for you.
Hmm I understand as well, tbh Riko and Reg seem like helpless children who only have a few unique things about them but they fail to intrigue me like the White Whistles or Nanachi (bunny girl) but if anything I don't really specialize in the field of Anime, I specialize more in recent Metal albums and stuff lol (I'm a rater and list maker) but I keep a close eye on currently airing Anime, so if you want any recommendations for series that are airing this season that you have not checked out yet or anything you haven't checked out in the future seasons just go ahead and ask, I'll try my best for my taste in Anime is pretty open but I'm confident that my "taste" in Anime is at least decent
You know, I can seem to understand a specific genre appealing to you much more than other ones, it's the same with me and music, I mainly focus on listening to Metal music due to it appealing to me much more (not to be edgy, I've been enjoying what the genre has given me as a long time fan lol) than other forms of music. Boku No Hero Academia and One Punch Man are phenomenal series so I can see them appealing to a lot of people who don't even enjoy action genre anime... Made In Abyss has it's own niche, it's basically putting cutely designed anime characters into a Lovecraft book lol, but if anything I'm really hoping the few final episodes appeal to you, there's the obvious case of the horrors becoming worse due to knowing as they descend further into the Abyss it gets more hazardous, so it won't be for everyone. I will just be watching it until the end to see what lies at the bottom of the abyss, hopefully the execution is well-done.
Nothing really grabbed me this season, aside from Tsurezure Children with it's innocent romance and comedy involving different couples, yet that 1st episode of Made In Abyss drew me in, the soundtrack reflecting the beauty yet danger of the abyss... I understand the characters can have more fleshed out personalities, there's many things that I believe can be improved upon in this series yet I'm gonna be honest, the art/animation and the soundtrack always makes me come back for the new episodes. If anything it's not perfect but it clicks with me, I never wanted to watch it for it's "edge factor", I just wanted to see the depth of the abyss and see how Riko and Reg would survive such horrors, but sadly they seem very hopeless but they're just children, they could do better but hey that's the abyss for you ah ha ha
Hmm, first time I visit your profile and I'm impressed with the image you have on the top... a whale in the sky... that piece of art is magnificent it reminds me of the song "Flying Whales" by Gojira. Even so, thank you for sending the friend request, we may have different opinions but you seem to be a cool person.
