I love video games, Alt/Folk/indie music, books, manga, and anime to an
almost unhealthy level. I also find excitement in the thought of writing, creating, and expressing my ideas in some kind of a way that I love, but can be remembered. I wish to one day create something lasting, that lasts longer than me.
I am slightly obsessed with Japanese Culture and most Asian Foods as well, and am actually very good at Japanese Style Cuisine. I also have an Asian Studies minor, and I speak some Japanese as well for what its worth, if you didnt notice by now.

MY ANIME RATING SCALE. . .(my opinions are my own. so take them or leave them)
--- To be clear, I rate my shows based on lots of areas, mainly focusing on: Writing, Directing, Animation, General Presentation, Sound, Pacing, And Personal Enjoyment. (i also try to ask myself "how did this show fare as a show of X and/or Y Genre?" and compare it to others that same Genre) {ppl need to learn that 7 isn't an average score, 5 is...}

10 - MASTERPIECE. A show that defines what anime means to ME on a personal level. No show out there can appeal to everyone, But this show has managed to intrigue and beguile me in a way that I can forgive its flaws and shortcomings (I'm a believer that no show is flawless anyway) I can re-watch these shows whenever.
9 - Among my favorite anime, it's Intellectually stimulating and Enjoyable on a personal level. Very well made, with minimal visible flaws. can easily re-watch it. I'm able to quantify what I like about it.
8 - Great Anime! I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing it. I may have reservations about some minor qualities. But overall this show made me feel something, and I can likely still re-watch this show without much hesitancy.
7 - I Like this Anime & had a decent time. May have a few defined problems. Still recommendable to some, and re-watch-ability is situational (maybe if I'm watching with someone)
6 - Above average slightly. Not enough about it was good or interesting enough to engross me. I like some qualities, Yet I have several complaints. My lowest "positive" score. The lowest score of things I kinda like a bit.
5 -Middle of the Road. MilkToast. Plain, Average, or Uninspired. Doesn't evoke much of anything. I neither fully like nor dislike this Anime; however, qualities in the show may be interesting, just not that much so. I May, or may not be glad I used my time on this show.
4 - Pretty Bad. I was bored and can't seem to get engaged in this show. There is a possibility I still found a few positive aspects for this show, yet more pervasive and glaring issues prevented me from enjoying it in any meaningful way overall. (I can finish watching it with some perseverance)
3 - This show is bad and brimming with issues. I may be mildly offended or bored as well. I still may have 1 thing that may be positive, but likely the possibility of dropping this is pretty high, as well as never watching it again.
2 - Trash. I'm either Offended, Disgusted, Angry, or all of the above. I likely won't finish watching this unless I'm curious or forcing myself to watch for good reasons. Can't find much if anything redeemable at all.
1 - Im definitely offended. It's such a level of SUPER-TRASH that it disgraces the idea of anime in general.. Please erase this from existence. (I have yet to score a show with a 1... but time will tell)
