| Pretty meh start, will probably stick around for a few more episodes solely judging on the writer's merits; I can see this picking up, but production is pretty average and none of the characters look that likeable. Here's to the loli landlady playing a major role and getting a whole arc dedicated to her fried shrimps. |

| I'm really not sure if I''m going to end up liking this series or not. I love that it's a romcom and that the main character has worked hard to become an ikemen. Still, I have 2 main problems so far. First, that the character designs are pretty generic, especially Masamune's. Although, if the show manages to become a compelling romcom, I'm willing to overlook that. Second, the way the main love interest is portrayed as a tsundere. It would've been nice if we only saw her Tsun side this episode, as that would reinforce her intimidating demeanor. But of course MC-kun has already made her show her dere side... But it doesn't really matter, as I somewhat like the premise and will undoubtedly watch this show all the way through. |

| Another wet dream of some 30-something virgin... I sincerly start to think Anime is beyond repair. Only exception being high-budget cinematic movies. It is kinda astonishing how a country can have such a complex language but fails to produce any form of literature with cultural worth. Even a second-tier russian novelists shits better storylines than this. Seriously though. I have read Free-yaoi fanfics written by 15-yo girls that were more believable and less dramatic than this first episode. I give it 2/10 though because the attack at the end was so retarded i actually had to laugh. Dropped. |

Point taken. I didn't fully think through my idea. My solution is flawed, my bad. But I think we both agree the scoring system is somewhat flawed and needs to be edited to both accurately judge a show for the audience the it's targeting and not be over or under rated before its even finished. To that end, I was thinking MAL allows people to score but not show it until its finished airing. But the problem with that is long running shows (One Piece could possibly never be rated than). And allowing ranking after a certain number of episodes watched may be inaccurate because of filler episodes/arc. So I'm not really sure. Its a difficult problem to find a solution. Maybe this is the most optimal MAL can afford to be. Regardless its an interesting topic to discuss. |

| The whole "main character was fat but loses weight and gets the attention of nearly every girl/guy they come across" shtick reminds me a lot of Kiss Him Not Me from last season. Pretty decent first episode. Set up the premise and main characters quite well, in addition to me quite liking the personalities of the main guy and girl. (The girl more; though she's obviously a tsundere, but one with somewhat unique traits like that blood sugar condition) Also loli mom. Is she a midget or something? |
| Masamume is definitely a jerk (he only "saved" her for selfish reasons) and his motto is egotistical, but I like him nonetheless. Aki's a bitch. The fat guy is totally right but of course he shouldn't have assaulted her like that. I totally expect them to fall in love with each other, but execution is what I'm looking for. I'll judge that based on the show's progression. |

| I think this anime is good from what i've seen in this episode. The art is awesome, the story isn't bad and the characters are pretty interesting. But I don't know how the fuck it dropped from rank 61 and being the best airing anime to a rank below 200. |

| I liked the first episode, which I didn't expect. Wtf was up with that mom though haha so confusing, I thought she was a younger sister at first. I haven't found a favourite character yet because they all seem mean so right now I'm going with the mom. One thing that bothered me was all the talk about food being high kcal/too much. Can someone who's read the manga tell me if this keeps going on for the whole show? |
| Oh, I quite love this anime. First impressions are great so I'm definitly continuing it. Anime gives me some kinda Oregairu vibes but also some kinda Last Game vibes. I didn't read the manga but if this anime doesn't adapt it as a whole, welp, I'm probably gonna check it out. |

| One of the shows I've been looking forward to this season, even though I'm seriously behind on the manga, but whatever. Off to a pretty decent start I'd say. The visuals and art are pretty damn great in my opinion. Hope they will remain consistent throughout the season. This is definitely going to be a fun ride! This show kind of requires an acquired taste. Many people will dislike it simply because pretty much all the lead characters have a less than perfect personality. Add to that the usual haters who downvote any romcom by default who were attracted by the high ranking and you have your reason. If you have the capability to take a step back and enjoy the tit-for-tat as-is, this show has quite an intelligent storyline and very well-done gradual and believable developments how the characters view each other. And this is the show in which the manga (which seems to be finishing in 3-4 chapters) achieves something remarkable: The readership is completely split on who the good, bad and ugly characters are. So, if you finish the episode annoyed because you REALLY think that Aki is such a total bitch, you can safely drop it. If you watch it, think that Aki is such a total bitch, but can chuckle about the Makabe/Aki antics, this show is perfect for you. |
| Wasn't expecting Saori Hayami to show up but I always love her, so that was nice. Nice art style and colors, fun watch. Opening was generic but cute. Hope this turns out good! |
| remember reading this ages ago and never got back to reading it so seeing all the characters in the OP i'm like who the hell are all these characters lol. i'm sure this won't win any awards besides (best legs of the season( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) because that's all i remember honestly there needs to be a counter for how many times they show her legs ,but i still found it enjoyable and silly like the manga plus i have to admit it felt weird without a season with a typical harem. and how you gonna make a trap voiced by Saori y-you can't do that! |

| Solid start, though it screams otaku pandering with a loli mother, a moe assistant, a trap best friend, I think how the MC and the main girl are quite refreshing to see. As always, Choucho sounds awesome in the EDs |

| A solid start. I enjoyed the manga from what I've read so far, so I've been looking forward to this one. Music was good, and the art isn't too bad either. Masamune himself is an interesting character, fueled by the fires of revenge. And seeing how Aki is such a bitch makes her fairly interesting too. Didn't feel too fast or slow and it left off on a good cliff hanger. Can't wait for more. |

| Aside from the feeling that the setup was way too long and the strange pacing of certain events for what I assume to be a 13 episode series we are off to a good start. I was definitely expecting the surprise to last until at least episode 3 so the cliffhanger this week makes me worried. Feels like all of the fun of the series is already down the drain. |
| Pantsu shots from the tennis girls. Wait the little girl is the mom? ...how...how can such a small person give birth. Can she even breast feed. And here I thought she was the sister. Well so far it's been enjoyable. The guy looks a lot like Kirito from SAO. Girl eating chips early in the morning. Funny thing is I was eating spicy chips while watching this. So Makabe no longer likes high calorie meals, yea it takes a while to get used to eating much smaller meals that aren't heavy for the stomach. I thought the other guy was going to stab Aki but he just wanted to cut her hair. And Makabe like a boss stops him and then walks off. Gonna be fun to see how this whole Aki and Makabe story develops. |
