| OP of the season for now. Great art, or rather wonderful. Best looking series of the season with Musaigen no Phantom World for now. Positive suprise. Comedy is actually pretty funny. | Title: Dagashi Kashi Story: The story was quite fun, I thought it's tone was quite enjoyable and I'd very much like to see more. Art: Beautiful character designs and backgrounds. The only thing slightly annoying was the MC's eyes. Characters: Lots of basic bland stereotypical characters. They try hard to cover it up, but it just doesn't work out. Nevertheless, the characters were not specifically "bad"; the characters were just average and nothing special. Music: The OP was sweet. Made me a bit hungry. The BG and ED were alright, nothing fantastic. Enjoyment: I thought it was fun and I'd probably want to see more, but I don't see it anywhere near potential AotS (i.e. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi). Verdict: 'Twas average. P.S. #TeamSaya |

| Too bloody hyperactive. Ironically enough though considering this is a show about sweets it fits quite well. (Though I'm still not a huge fan of the hyperactivity) Otherwise I liked it. |

| OP song is not too bad. ED song is alright as well. The art is pretty nice and the character designs are good as well. Hotaru is pretty eccentric and Kokonotsu's dad is pretty funny. The candy shop looks very nice. Lol Hotaru is already naked. Looking forward to seeing more. |

| Man what a weak start. The episode was slow and boring and the comedy wasn't the least bit funny. At least the atmosphere was pretty good (not annoyingly lively like I expected, but calm and sort of soothing in a way despite the loud characters) |
| Anyone noticed Hotaru's rinnegan? I cant stop staring at her eyes. So we have a love battle between the tsundere childhood friend and the crazy new girl who will realize later that she has fallen in love with coconuts. Def gonna watch it. |

| I honestly had no expectations for this anime, but dang this first episode opened my mind from its close-minded approach. Also, I magically turned into a shipper of Coconut x Saya lol I can't eat candy due to my teeth (Hurts like hell), but a pretty intriguing situation |
| Saya best girl. The art style is cool, I like it. And some pretty enjoyable stuff so far. Wonder if this'll actually have plot though. Not that comedy alone isn't bad. |

| This was really a great debut, art and scenery are excellent, and even the animation not being amazing, the plot and the characters are very good, really a great comedy, one of the most memorable moments however in my opinion was Kokonotsu talking "I will become a mangaka", this voice and speech brought me a lot of nostalgia (at the same moment I remembered of Bakuman), I look forward for the next episodes .. |

| Dammit animation is so low budget, if that were the prob they should've made this half the normal length for an episode, since the manga chapters are short already. Can't believe even tho every chapter is like 10 pages long, they still skipped some content like wtf? Only thing that's doing the manga justice is Hotaru animated |

| Yeah this is what I'm talking about in terms of SOL shows,though they removed some parts from the manga I still enjoyed the hell out of it, Art is great don't know why they suck at creating those OP&ED art, Like the ED more than the OP but still fine for me, this show is just so well informative about the sweets thing so it's a plus for me, And Hotaru or Saya, please both will always be the answer :D can't wait for the next ep especially the Namaiku Beer part :D |
