| I am reading the manga (up through vol. 17 now) and I have to say that this is not as good, but still worth watching. The newspaper scene was used to much better effect in the manga, for instance. Good one overall, though. If you're liking the new series so far, I really recommend you read the manga. |

| Ling, yay. That's enough for me to like an episode. But aww, they didn't show Barry knocking Falcon down xD Poor guy. And gar Mustang in action! Nah, I enjoyed the first FMA so much that I picked up the manga for more info. After reading the first volume, I dropped it. I didn't get the same rush. I'm bigger on anime than manga anyway so I'm good. ^_^ |

| Good episode. I'm starting to like Barry somehow, haha. XD Ling annoys me somehow. Hope he'll either get serious or grow on me... somehow. The episode felt sort of lacking. The scene where Ed comes upon Mustang and burnt-to-death Ross should have, I feel, been more intense and darker. I never read that far into the manga (;_; I should read more of the manga again) so I don't know if Ross is really dead but... I hope she isn't. It's seriously not fair that... well... she was convicted unfairly. |

| random comedy scene was waaay out of place, wtf. & I agree that they didn't pull of the newspaper scene right. love the Winry + Elrics scene at the beginning. the rest of the episode was meh-ish. :/ never was too fond of that part, not quite sure why but... |

| Maria's not dead! Roy's manipulating things so that he can get to the bottom of what's going on like faking Maria's death, and then alienating everyone who is closest to him. (Notice how many people are suddenly on leave or otherwise out of Central?) Can't wait for next week! |

Siing said: Ross did not just die. If she really is dead, the fuck. She was one of my more liked characters in the series, and then bam just like that. Then hip hip horray comedy for the rest of the episode, and nobody gives a fuck. Talk about taking one massive pile of shit then shoving it up your ass. The fuck. She better not be dead. Fuck. The way they executed it though makes me think she is alive somewhere, and Roy has taken her into hiding, all his actions now being an act. It better be the case, or god help me... This made me :) After re-watching this episode, I doubt that Ross was killed. The way it was portrayed, it was pretty obvious that everything was being staged, adding to that Mustang's behavior only further enhances this hope. However, I do have to agree with some other users that the comedy, while needed and welcomed, is terribly misplaced in certain spots and really throws off the pace of the episode. Forget all the haters. I adore this series so far. Unless it completely jumps the shark mid-season, I'm expecting an amazing product. |

| Episode was great. It's like all of the government officials are working seperately and at the same time trying to bring down each one into the ground, wow so intense. I don't know what's going on because for some reason, everyone has different motives. From the looks of it, they're all trying to accomplish different stuffs like Ed wants to get their bodies back, Mustang wants revenge and investigate, and this Holmen guy wants to sacrifice people, etc. Okay so at first I thought that Maria Ross was still alive because the body was crisp when the police found it. Mustang could have easily burned down another person and replace Maria with it, but from the looks of it, she's really dead, lol. |
| The episode was great but I think Mustang over did it. I was anticipating his 'in-action' and all, but I never thought he'd burn up Ross that easily. Moreover I feel bad for Ed, Al, and Armstrong, they all had to go from one shock into another. Guess Mustang has been blinded by his desire to revenge for Hughes, but if I were him, I'd really want a revenge at all costs anyway. |
