| Watched 3 of the Kara no Kyoukai movies and loved them, and I can't believe I passed up on this long ago. |

| Its confusing... *speechless* What is going on? Perhaps, I should watch the entire series before knowing what is going on. Shingetsutan Tsukihime is one of the TYPE-MOON series that branched out to 7 movies: Kara no Kyoukai, as well as many games such as the Melty Blood series. The sound of that is very interesting yet this first episode of the main anime is confusing.. |

| Okay I have had this anime for quite some time now. And now that I have finally started it all i can say about it is hmmmm INTERESTING and a bit CONFUSING I do like it so far I am not going to watch this like I did Elfen Lied I watched that one all in one day. |

| Wow, my first time playing through a Visual Novel and then watching the adaptation. A full-length "novel" versus a 12-episode anime series. I was expecting it to be shortened, but this was like... plot dump plot dump plot dump, rushing through everything. Compared to the novel, this went through things so damn fast, I can understand how it's confusing to first-time viewers. Well, at least I hope that going this fast, it'll cover a bit of each ending, not just Arcueid's. I'm interested in seeing a bit of Hisui's and Kohaku's routes adapted. |

| Nice music and I like the gothic feel of things. After seeing Baccano and Steins Gate I've learned not to be discouraged by confusing first chapters. Things should be cleared up soon enough. |

| Finishing Carnival Phantasm I really wanted to check out this one. I didn't have much expectations though, because its so old (2003) The shows been done by a different company named J.C Staff. All I can say its quite vague and more serious than FNS and maybe on par with Fate Zero and Kara no Kyoukai. |

| Don't like it. I thought people hated it because the story does it's own thing, but I'm already considering dropping it. Maybe having Carnival Phantasm as my first time seeing these characters animated and voiced spoiled me, but this is just hard to watch. Maybe once I get the pre conceptions of the characters based on the VN out of my head it'll be better. |

| some parts confused me, and i think im getting the characters all mixed around and confused..... but will continue to watch to see if it smooths out the creases! Doesn't seem like anything spectacular though! |
| Well I've heard this is the anime the fandom rejects as ever being created. I've not read the VN or manga but I am interested so far. I like that everything is a bit eerie and unexplained. As long as there are explanations eventually, I'm happy to wait. |

| ok i didn't play the vn or whatever.. this is my first contact with this story some ppeople don't like the show, whatever, it is their opinnion... but i really liked it (despite the old fashioned drawing and all)... yes maybe they rushed a bit of the story, but i think this episode shows a lot of potencial whith all that mystery and etc |

| My sole reason for watching this is a morbid curiosity to see how badly J.C. Staff can mess up if they try. Not disappointed so far, it was rushed, some of the characters were presented in a terrible way, one doesn't even resemble their VN counterpart in the least, etc. Even after only one episode, I can tell that the "Tsukihime anime doesn't exist" phrase has a valid reason to be uttered. I can't wait for all the botching up to follow! In all seriousness, I did like that they showed Ciel partaking in the PE class, plus one point for that. I guess that makes the standing somewhere between -40 to -60. |

| I started reading the mnga a while ago. And compared to it, its quite rushed and has a totally different feeling. I mean the manga is also confusing, and the further you go the more questions and answers you get. But I did not like it that much as a first ep. Let`s see if it recovers further on |
