RPG!

This episode was fun. I like the way it goes into a different route. The fantasy like atmosphere also feel like a good refreshment. Those robots has some odd designs on them though.

Power's out for Zvezda, time to explore an area that looks like an RPG dungeon to recover the Udo reactor. Interesting past on Natasha and how she met Roboko and Kate. Well at least they recovered the reactor.

Not a bad ep. Still wonder where this is heading? XD

Natasha going to sleep with Asuta was lol.

Lol'd at the RPG like adventure and Asuta's level XD

Nice knowing a bit more about Natasha. Kate is being her awesome loli self as usual :D

And they can start their own Udo business now, what a happy ending ^^

So if Kate helped outed Natasha when she was young how old is Kate. Anyway another unusually episode. Learning about Natasha past was okay I guess. Wonder if we going to learn how Itsuka met Kate next. Didn't know robots were picky eaters.

Loved Natasha's past. They most likely plan to show us the past of each Zvezda member, and I can't wait to find out what led Kate to begin her seifuku journey.

Sekai Seifuku is something , it tends to deliver some sort of message every week. (imo)

Natasha's past , ahh the feels. Pretty much me , being an introvert all with the laptops and internet. Ahh , will I ever meet someone like Kate ? I want to lmao.

I'm starting to suspect that Kate is an alien , that floating star on her head and her age. Hmm.

To teach viewers courage and the meaning of justice! No matter how many enemies there are. No matter how strong evil is. Just remember. Does any another country have so many heroes? So Natasha is Ukrainian, huh? Гарна дівчина! Although that makes me wonder why she speaks Hiroshima dialect. If that's because of the Chernobyl nuclear connection, then wouldn't a Southern Tohoku (Fukushima) dialect make even more sense?... too soon?

And now that I've started nitpicking, the Russian in that picture book was really off. Jenya Davidyuk said that whenever there's spoken Russian in an anime she gets hired to do accent coaching, but apparently they don't care enough about written Russian to hire anyone to proofread. Oh well, at least the Russian-themed naming is starting to make sense... I think..

Edit: also, with Natasha's Ukrainian origins revealed, my wild speculation from episode one, that the KuruKurus could have been named after the Ukrainian word for "fist", starts to seem slightly more plausible.

I wonder if this show is going to maintain its extreme randomness, or if it we will find out that everything had some meaning to it. Not sure it really matters, both ways would be fine.

I liked the interaction between Kate and Natasha, particularly the non-verbal ones, it shows the depth of the affection each has for the other. It also seems now that Kate shows up when people are at the end of their ropes, the two Yakuza last episode, Natasha this episode, even the MC having decided to run away from home, Kate finds them and gives their lives meaning, this is why they are so dedicated to her.

Anyone have the feeling that Natasha was abandoned by her parents? Taking her to live with the fairies indeed. Spirited away. Probably a bit afraid of her.

So Kate doesn't seem to be aging, in that Natasha seems to have aged a few years since first meeting Kate. I am sure we will find out more about that. Last survivor of the Udogawa Civilization? Or is this why the show her sleeping so much and why she doesn't age that much? The statue from the first episode would seem to suggest that a growth spurt will be coming though (though if that was the MC, then that was a long time into the future).

Looking forward to next week, still have couple of back stories to fill.

This episode also explains where they get their abnormal strength/power from. Those black disks that are connected to their suits/mask/etc. Natasha is the best.

I think that Natasha was abandoned because her parents forced her to leave to a far place and then they "disappeared", all the giggles and darkness of the cave could be that Natasha was a child after all.
But Asuta and Kate also saw the darkness attacking the udo plant so my explication failed :P

Actually that was an excellent part of this episode. A Kate explained the Darkness is collective negative human emotion, as such it taps into what people fear the most. For Natasha it was her fear of abandonment (notice that a lot were a fusion of her robots and stuffed animals that she had abandoned unfinished as well) was what was fueling it. What made this scene pretty cool was that Natasha figured this out and asked what the MC saw, when he replied that he only saw swirling clouds she went "ah, so that is what this is about", meaning she realized that only she could see the particular form this negative monster was taking and that it meant that she had to defeat it since it was using her emotions.

Zvezda's power relies on udo haha! And if Fallout taught me anything, it's that a glowing plant is most likely radioactive. So yeah, they draw their power from radioactive udo. And 500 meters beneath the town is an ancient super udo that is in danger of being destroyed by the manifestation of humans' fear. To defeat it, they must make the pistil and stamen go *beep*. If that's not random enough, the underground passage also connects Ukraine and Japan and has random treasure chests, boss monsters and coin-operated shortcuts.

If I didn't watch the episode and only read this summary, I'd say this is just ridiculous. What a fun show LMAO. Where do I sign up? I'd like to join Zvezda.

An episode about Natasha, interesting.

"The water!" That made me lol pretty hard.

Udo reactor? Well that's a first.

That was a strange episode.

I can't wait for Itsuka's back story.

This episode somehow makes me think that Kate is something like an immortal or maybe the last remaining member of the ancient Udogawa civilization. That's why she has all those weird powers and the knowledge of the Udo root. Notice how she doesn't seem to have aged that much compared to Natasha.

Also, the voice acting in this show is something to be mentioned. I feel like the seyuus are having some freedom due to the craziness of the show and wow... it has been amazing so far.

Seems they're all in the loony bin. All of them will turn out deserted (put in a mental hospital) by their loved ones.

That, or this show is just total randomness without a point.
Either way it's a cute show.

The likelihood of Kate being an alien has increased. Basically, she's a loli in body, but not in mind. My favourite kind!

Reviewing every episode seen, all the characters are completely mental.
None of them can go back home. Asuta is homeless, Natasha is abandoned by her parents and Kate can't go home either. They're abandoned.

Think Sucker Punch. Whichever way I look at the show (even though I enjoy it) the only consistency among otherwise random episode events appears to be Asuta.

I'll wait and see how this show turns out. It could simply be incomprehensible fun without point or plot.

I'm starting to have mixed feelings about this show, since it feels like they cant really mix comedy well in the show and it feels clashing with the overall plot of the series.

When i first saw this I was expecting a nigh-absurdist comedy that could be played on infinitely but it feels like they want to have an ending and by introducing a plot like feel to it it clashes with the SoL and episodic comedy nature of the episodes

I don't know where this show is heading in the slightest. But, I'm sticking with it to the end! This was probably the best episode so far, and reading people's theories about what the mass was, makes a lot more sense, and makes the episode even better!

I do wonder what will happen next though!

idk why people showed up thinking its a serious show but did the synopsis not look like it would be a comedy?

For now, I did not quite understood what that convey the plot, so I give a vote of confidence, hoping to understand the meaning beyond. The nosense do not understand if you need to talk about serious issues or the facts are to be described in such a way to create something original.
Plot that brings forth his intention to introduce us to the main characters, okay!
Narration nice, but I laughed more than before, I was expecting more, oh well!
Drawings and animations of a good standard.

That was honestly my least favorite episode I've seen so far..though that isn't saying much considering how I've enjoyed the show a lot so far.

It was a bit too random..even for my taste, and I was a bit lost as to what was happening for a bit of the story. It all seemed a bit forced for some reason, and though I loved the nonsense the last episode gave me..this one was too nonsensical.

However, despite those things, I still liked it. Learning more about Natasha was great, and cause I have been wondering why some of these guys follow a little girl around, it helped me to understand her reasoning. Also, like some have said before..Kate is SO not your average little girl. Excited to learn more however.

The ending of the episode was kinda nice, I think, and I know have my first OTP for this series- NatashaxRoboko /shot
