| Himari is an opportunist lol Who didn't see this coming? She's expressed affection towards Saito from the start so of course she's take any chance to get closer to him. This 'pretend couple' thing definitely means more than a distraction to distill the idea that Akane/Saito are together. Personally, i like her better than Akane so this episode was a fun one imo. |

| Himari getting her chance and going all out. And Akane realising she isn't fine with it but she doesn't dare to say it. Things could get complicated next episode tho i hope it doesn't affect the relationship between Himari and Akane. Akane has to be honest to avoid that from happening tho. |
| Himari being more than willing to go all out as long as she believes she still has a chance is scarier than I thought it'd be. Her deredere antics is starting to encroach into yandere territory and I don't know how I feel about that. |

| Himari is like the only love rival we need here! Such a great episode that showed she is so much more than just a maiden in love. The fake dating situation with she and Saito is 1000 percent going to lead to Akane being direct with Saito and Himari about her feelings. It also gives Himari a chance to experience what dating Saito would be like, if only fake and for a short period of time. But what really stood out to me this episode was Himari’s intelligence. She might act ditzy, but studying psychology shows she’s very intelligent and a great friend. Doing all this to prevent she and Akane from ever getting bullied again. Her whole image is probably manufactured to be cool and fit in. Reminds me a lot of Kei from You Zitsu. She broke character a bit when Saito came over. She went back to the scared little girl she used to be as a kid when begging him to stay. I really feel for her because she’s gotta be conflicted between her first love and her best friend but cmon, you deserve to be more than “the other girl” Classic reverse psychology there at the end. No way she was really trying to hurt Akane I reckon she just wants Akane to be honest with herself and to have a proper competition. Great ep |

| Seeing Himari like this makes me think that maybe Saito would have fallen in love with her if only he didn't have Akane in his heart. It's clear that Saito is still thinking about Akane here and I hope Akane can be braver in expressing her feelings.  |

| @TemplarXIII I agree with you. On so many levels. Her lack of honesty with herself is just the final nail in the coffin. Enjoyed this episode. Seeing Himari going all out and playing her only card she has was refreshing and fun. Of course she's not going to get her man but at least she'll live without the regret of not giving it a go. |

I NEED Shisei as an Evil Lieutenant, I will even adopt here as and official Evil Itoko or Evil Imouto. Now Himari, goddamn girl, you are good, smart, driven, gorgeous (that chartreuse tank top was a knock out). You are definitely invited to become an Evil Wife in one of my harems, and are a clear candidate to receive imperium and be an official Evil Lieutenant as well. |

| Himari is a terrible person. If she really figured out they were living together a long time ago like she claims, that means she said it out loud in the classroom just to cause trouble. And also, if she's that perceptive, there's no way she doesn't know Akane likes Saito. She is manipulative and toxic, and is hurting her supposed "best friend" out of pure selfish opportunism. It's rare that there's a character with literally 0 redeeming qualities like this. I really cannot stand her at all. Even Maho is more tolerable and somehow less toxic. This show would have been significantly better if Himari did not exist. |

| Himari really took the chance of a lifetime with this episode. Ngl though honestly more than anything she just looks lonely but I suppose she did apparently get bullied so I guess maybe that can do that to you. Honestly I do feel bad for her situation she's definitely my favourite character. Im still rooting for AkaneXSaito which I mean obviously is the end goal. But still it sucks to see Akane sad over the fake relationship Himari and Saito have rn. |
| Honestly, Himari is an attractive and strong character who deserves a guy who truly loves her. Saito isn’t the right match… and honestly, he’s with a new girl every episode, haha! He’s turning into a playboy in my opinion. I still stand by my opinion that Chisai is the best side character. She brings a cheerful vibe to the show! Overall, I really enjoy the anime’s comedy. |

| More of same, neither of the main characters are willing to recognize their true feelings, and hold everything inside, which in only going to hurt the blonde friend even more, they still not being completely honest with her, especially the redhead friend, she is doing more harm to herself and her friend this way. This anime started off kinda crazy, then it had a good rhythm, now it is just this "will they, won't" which is frustrating, they lost all the momentum built up in previous episodes. If they are not careful, the will blow in their faces, cousing hurt and anger. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| god I hate this fabricated artificial drama, it's like watching blind people play football, that's how oblivious everyone is of the situation. It would be pretty easy to clear up all the drama, instead we're deadass being edged with this bs plotline. All this to rob us from a good conclusion, now we have 2 episodes left to clear up this drama AND have any kind of confession, such a waste for an anime that started off well |

| I'm glad to see that most people here actually seem to be on best-girl Himari's side. Not all, but more than I expected. Because the end of this episode makes it painfully clear that the show itself WANTS us to dislike her. To see her as callous, if not outright malevolent, by her actions here. It WANTS us to feel bad for poor, simpering little Akane which...hell no LOL. Sigh, if I thought she had any real chance this show might yet be salvageable. But she doesn't, and it isn't. Just 2 more episodes until this generous 6/10 is done. |
| While I kind of think that Himari is trying to get Akane to admit her feeling about Saito I also think that Himari really does like Saito so there's a conundrum. At the end of the day whatever happens will depend on what Akane decides to do or not do. |
