| This was one of the most predicable finale this season. Lloyd pushed his magic and powers to the limits in this final fight. They pretty much put him on the spotlight as the main guy. Meh, just wish they made the main story more appealing. We still got a look at most of cast back in the aftermath of the fight. There were some random comedy moments thrown in as always. | It's Lloyd's turn to retaliate against Guisarme, and he's the same as ever, full of magic powers and obtusely, one of regret and empathy as the demon takes on full damage with Lloyd's Void and Shadow Wolf altogether, after having his Mortal Dark Sphere eliminated in a split second. And even if he tries to cheat his way through to revert to Jade to get the Assassin's Guild recognized, he's too far out of this world. Grim simply wasn't ready for what he's about to witness Lloyd's limitless magic, leaving the vestige of old Jade sharing Lloyd's legend as the 7th prince (in his previous life) to the Assassin's Guild. And this fairy tale that he's heard and proclaimed, is NO fairy tale at all. Lloyd making a grave for Jade, and though this is noticed by Albert and the rest, the Assassin's Guild will still have to own up to their past crimes, and their repayment to serve Lloyd for the rest of their lives (as whom Galilea surmised, now eating their own karma) it's all on his account to tarnish the Saloum name if anything goes wrong. Still, he's the adored precious younger brother and the 7th prince...and Tao coming in to only leave because she interfered with an emotional situation, she's quite the party-pooper. And to rejoice it all with an afternoon tea...laden with booze, fun and everything both nice and sad, the guys have their moments, whilst the girls get some fanservice time, plus Ren who makes her allegiance known, plus her Blighted poison magic being acknowledged by Lloyd..who joins the bath with the girls like the norm. This show has been one of the biggest surprises of the season, being "so bad it's good" that it just rocks. From hate to love, the show's transformation has been nothing but progressively great. | The final battle between Jade and Lloyd! Thanks to Jade's will and techniques, Lloyd fully comprehended the magic of spatial teleportation. Cornered, Guisarme unleashed his ultimate move, the Mortal Dark Sphere, capable of consuming everything and reducing it to nothingness. However, Lloyd confronted it with his overwhelming magical power. The fierce magical battle finally reached its conclusion. Damn... W Jade for grabbing Guisarme at the last minute to prevent his escape. What a chad. His sacrifice was not in vain—hats off to Jade. The Assassin's Guild followed the right person, unlike that weak prick Guisarme. Speaking of Guisarme, Lloyd's final attack on him was beautiful. Seeing everyone for not just any tea party, a commoners tea party was fun to see. Glad to see that we'll see more of Ren in season two, but in maid form this time ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Easily the biggest surprise of the season. | So ends one of the biggest surprises of the year so far. Absolutely loved this show. Blew all my expectations out the water. Lloyd was amazing and his supporting cast was just as good. Story just got started at the end and unlike 95 percent of other seasonals who do that, we’re getting a continuation LETS GOOO. Got a little emotional at the end of this one! Everyone a demon till a real demon show up. Lloyd absolutely wrecked Guisarme and it was just as satisfying as I prayed. It wasn’t enough for Lloyd to just beat him. With everything Guisarme has done and all the shit he’s talked, I needed him to be thoroughly defeated mentally as well. To see that his magic he thought so highly of was nothing in the face of Lloyd. His secret weapon being nothing more than a science experiment had tried ages ago was hilarious and using the void to defeat him was perfect. God seeing that smirk gradually come off his face was so satisfying. I wish they had an asspull to bring Jade back, but at the same time fully respect keeping him dead and having him help Lloyd with the shadow wolf spell transcription. Beautiful moment really. Plus it symbolises a new beginning for the assassins guild Speaking of which, Albert and Lloyd’s convo is what really got me emotional man. Lloyd didn’t even hesitate in taking the guild on as retainers. That combined with Ren’s flashback to Jade putting all his hope in Lloyd was just a gut punch. He was right all along and his friends will certainly be taken care of. Poor Tao showing up late and then getting tea dumped on her by Sylpha 💀I love how the show utilises the chibi art style for comedic effect. I know he told them to be casual, but damn Talia already making moves on Albert. I can tell she’s gonna be great in s2! Other emotional bit was Lloyd telling Ren to use her poison for good and become a medicine maker. So many people have shunned her and told her how cursed she is, but that could be used as a blessing.. just happy for all of the “blighted” getting another chance at life. Amazing finale. Amazing seasonal. Season 2 will feed the streets. |

| Superbly cute and fun power fantasy series. Lloyd curiosity lead him to discover there more to magic than meets eyes, it developed his character and relationship, opening new ways of understanding thus helping him overcome challenges and unraveled the mysteries of magic itself. Season 2 confirmed?! what blessing!  |
| Here we are, it's the final episode of the first season. And man, I'm a manga reader yet this was a pleasant surprise even for me. I thought the anime would flop compared to the manga's quality. But somehow, a studio out of nowhere with little known track record not only made a banger but also kept upping the hype episode after episode from a seemingly "just another trashy power-fantasy" (you just don't see these kinds of things in seasonal animes). Spell-colored me impressed as this is my hidden gem and show of the season: 8.5/10. This is also pretty popular in Japan so I knew season 2 would be immediately announced. So I hope they continue to do the same thing like this (with hopefully) an even bigger budget. |

| Lyoid this time ended his battle with an epic and also touching, how jade turned out to have wanted to meet Lyoid for a long time, and their promises were kept well. The point is I can enjoy this anime during this season, relaxed but still a little uncomfortable with Lyoid's character design from the first, hahaha..... Oh, immediately there is information that it will continue into season 2, good.  |

| Amazingly adapted, I still prefer the manga overall for pacing and art stuff, but this is not bad at all. It's also so funny to me that the main attraction newcomers have of this show are the overwhelming showcases of scale, power and action, which I'm not gonna lie, are quite impressive. But the main attraction is imo the heart the series has, which is ironic since Lloyd pretty much dissed Guisarme for this same thing, power is cool and all, but without something behind it it becomes dull and boring, now that Lloyd is in care of the AG, way more opportunities to develop magic will come forth. Next arc is going to be... heavenly. |
| Everything ended well, and the brothers and sisters knew that Lloyd had helped them. Thank you to the studio for adapting this peak Manga, even though the art and pacing can't be as good as the Manga, at least they have intention in adapting this. This won't be the last episode as we immediately get the announcement of Season 2, LFGGG really looking forward to Season 2  |
| The animation/visual effects were so pretty again. Lloyd's mana level is off the charts. Even the demon lord was in shock. The scene with Jade farewell looked beautiful. The former assassin guild members will serve Lloyd from now on. Ren became a maid. Glad we got some chill stuff at the end there to end the season. Need uncensored hot spring scene. Hopefully with the BD release. This was the biggest surprise for me this season with Sylpha being the best waifu. I was expecting a decent fantasy anime at best but it caught me offguard with how well the studio worked on this and how much enjoyable it was. I really really enjoyed watching this. Props to the studio for the great animation/visuals and I hope they'll keep the quality in the second season. Looking forward to it. Btw the ED song visuals were a lie. |

We're getting blessed with more THICKNESS. I hope they don't change animators/the studio though 8.5/10 for pure enjoyability |

Why all the hate for this show? Not everything needs to have a deep intriguing plot. This is still a generic power fantasy yes but it's a greatly executed one. And that's what makes it really enjoyable. Oh well... season 2 is announced so there's more to come.

| The big surprise of the season, I'm both glad and super sad that Jade and the rest couldn't be saved, sure it would have been nice to get them all back but it would ruin the emotional payoff of the assassins, I wasn't expecting Tao to show up at all this episode and even then that miracle happened, super glad the show is getting a second season, here is hoping the studio has a bright future. Much like Gintama and Kimetsu, etc. I really like when shows can be serious yet change into more lighthearted / comedic tone and juggles between them, specially if they do a change in the style, my only "complaint" is that I wish Loyd were just a female but shota fans can also have something for them. |

I'm sure they did this way after the episode was already finished because the first bath scene was nearly untouched. I guess they read too much English Twitter. Unfortunately looks kinda stupid with all the steam but whatever. I'm here for the funsies and crazies and I'm happy that the studio delivered on the fights and animation. |
