| That Izutsumi girl has a bit of an attitude, not the easy type to get along with. However, it seems the group is able to warm up to her. We got an ice golem this episode, and it just goes to show that danger can be anywhere in their world. Senshi showed his knowledge about cooking again, and it's always impressive to see imo. |

| I don’t think fighting within themselves is that one right thing to do right now lol. Though yes, it’d take time for Izutsumi to get along with this bunch, but I’m thinking she doesn’t care about bonding one bit. She does have every reason not to think about that too I mean, look how easily she could topple one gigantic ice golem after all. Though being a girl, she does lack some tact, both with her words and in regards to her appearance lol. Liked how Senshi and Chilchuck had to shut the eyes of Laios with a white cloth, just so he doesn’t get excited(with his enthusiasm) over Izutsumi’s body. That’s some nasty impression to have lol. He and his monster lectures aside, this episode did succeed in establishing Izutsumi as an ungrateful character if nothing. Though then again, with such a weird bunch around, it’s so easy to get disturbed lol. By the way, that fruit has to be one of the most disgusting things they’ve cooked thus far lol. |

| Senshi was the ultimate fanservice, seriously... The party welcomed Izutsumi, a new addition - the beast girl, to their ranks. While journeying towards the dungeon's depths, they stumbled upon a peculiar sight: a fish encased in ice lying on the path. Their attempt to extract it led to the unexpected emergence of an ice golem from beneath. Swiftly, Izutsumi leaped into action, her agility allowing her to intercept the golem. However, she soon found herself engaged in a strenuous battle against the formidable foe, fighting against overwhelming odds. I like how Izutsumi isn't just a typical cat girl with human features and cat ears – her body shape actually looks like a cat's. And it's cool that Chilchuck knows how to fight with a weapon. It's good to see him having skills, even though he's not usually the fighting type – his archery is impressive. Izutsumi seems to be enjoying her time with their group more than with her old one, which probably mistreated her. Also, that tomato lamb looked way scarier than anything we've seen in this manga before, except maybe for the dog and the Mandrake incident from earlier. If they managed to kill at least one dire wolf, which I think they did, they should've thought about eating them too. |

| Currently not the biggest fan of Izutsumi. She’s just been getting on my nerves and for some reason can’t see the bigger picture. If I was in their party, I would just let her starve or get lost if she doesn’t want to eat or go the right way. I’m sure she will develop into a more likable character, but for now she’s just annoying. (7.5/10) |
| Barometz is probably one of the most unique food we have seen so far in the series. Really good Izutsumi centric episode. |

| That direwolf bite legit made me flinch from how sudden it was. Poor kitty. Fantasy races, scary creatures and getting to use actual magic? Whatever. Sheep that grows on trees? Hell yeah! |

| Honestly, I can't fault Izutsumi. Those mandrake skewers did not seem appetizing. Dungeon food is tasty, but most of the work is just making it look presentable. |

| It’s nice we got an episode with lots of Izutsumi focus to properly welcome her into the party. In the first half we had the ice golem fight which was a lot of fun, we got to see Izutsumi and Chilchuck work together right after they were at each other’s throats, it was a good showing of Izutsumi’s skill as well, the whole cat thing she has going on is reflected in how she fights, also I liked the design of the ice golem, he was goofy looking lol. And I thought for a moment that the ice golem would be one of the only monsters to not be eaten but they ended up using its fragments to make custard, so I guess he technically was used for food. Also the bits where everyone stripped for the sauna were good, felt weird seeing Senshi with no helmet and Izutsumi’s cat-like body was interesting, Laios with that counting her nipples line tho lol. And in the 2nd half things got a bit rough between Izutsumi and the rest of the party when she was being picky with her food and insisted on doing what she wanted, leaving both Laios and Marcille to deal with those wolves on their own. She eventually came around when she was saved by Marcille, but I liked this bit as it was good development for her and also gave us some of her backstory when she was with Shuro’s group, also the cat scratches were hilarious, she really is just like a cat. And lastly I can’t blame Marcille for wanting to skip out on this weird sheep plant food, that fruit having a lamb in it was kinda horrifying lol. And it looks like they put Izutsumi in both the OP and ED visuals, I’m happy to see that, she’s a great addition. |
| Episode was fine for me, didn't really care too much for Izutsumi nor did I particularly like her character here but it was good to see her at least fit better within the group and she did make some reasonable sounding points too with Marcille, even if she comes across as a lot to handle at times. |
| Lol Laios was hilarious , he had to be blindfolded for that. Asebi doesn’t seem to be the character I will like , I hope she gets to be functional and stop being salty lol |

| Itsuzumi is in the opening near the end now holding hands! It's great they found their old supplies from their first expedition. Plenty of rucksacks, sleeping bags, extra clothes, soap...etc, and thanks to Chilchuk spotting Itsuzumi's sticky fingers, some of their money as well, so they're not completely broke anymore. Chilchuk also picked up his old bow and arrows (assuming they were his to begin with and not Namari or someone else's). And I'm guessing the long navy clothes layer Laios is wearing under his armor was Shuro's spare robes. Some fast thinking on Laios, using his own body to shield Marcille from the falling icicles. Speaking of shields, Laios should probably pick up a small or medium-sized shield, so they'd have two tankers on their party along with Senshi's refurbished shield/wok. OMFG, Laios wanting to know how many nipples Itsuzumi has...LMAO. It's a good thing they blindfolded him, the weirdo...although it kind of backfired with Laios accidentally touching Sensh's knee, which ended up with him having to feed Laios. Good on Senshi to keep up with the table manners education. Itsuzumi has a long ways to go in terms of learning what it means to be a party member, and during mealtime. Although I wonder why the Nightmares/clams didn't show any dream mirages...maybe they didn't eat enough dreams, or they died after some time passed. That grilled barometz lamb chops looked pretty good. I personally prefer mine with simply seasoned salt rather than sauce. but it blows my mind that Barometz tastes like...crab, of all things, while at the same time, still technically being a plant that attracts carnivores like berries attract birds. I'm curious now...could you harvest wool from a "ripe" barometz?🤔 Itsuzumi has also been added into the ED! Looking forward to next week already with more Itsuzumi being more cat than girl. |

| Izutsumi's pretty cool and strong, a strong addition to the party. She's really fun to watch too. Was great to see her bond with the others. Also Laios never change, guy's unhinged. Let me count the nipples or see the base of her tail lmao. Marcille looked cute with ponytail. |

| Better than episode 19, but still felt kind of rushed with a missing link here and there. Loved how real cat like is Izutsumi, not your usual "Look at me being cute-nyan!" anime stuff. |
Oh nice they updated the OP with the cat girl, a cool touch. Overall it's an episode filled with light exploration and food, but we kinda expect that from Dungeon Meshi. I'm excited to see potentially more epic moments next episode perhaps ?  |

| Kinda figured people on MAL wouldn't click with Izutsumi at first because she's such a brat lol. A solid bit of character backstory and development for the new party member. On a smaller note - The "sauna" they made perfectly fits that feeling of taking a small rest in TTRPG campaigns. Edit: After sleeping on it... I realize they cut a fair few manga panels from the second part leading to the encounter with the wolves, which gave some more flow and context. The cuts made for a weird pacing and a little confusing imo. I think this is the first time I felt the direction for the adaptation took a blunder. But this is such a small thing lol. |

| Lesson learned from Marcille, if you have a goal and you want to accomplished it, there must be a wall to climb, hard road to cross, and any other difficulties. You just have to endure it and keep your goal in mind |
