Absolutely. If you like the first season enough then you should read the manga after. Otherwise just leave it at that.

These are the only two options every individual should consider. No one deserves something as horrible as S2 in their life.

Never read the manga, but watched both the seasons.
I think that by just watching the first one you are good to go.. leaves more space for imagination! 🧐
Didn't like the second one.. it has left me with bad impression😶

That was the path I followed.
Watched the first season and liked it.
Everyone I know told me the second was horrible, and I decided to stop at the first season and leave the rest to my imagination.
If I ever get curious, I will just read the manga.

Definitely! Only watch the first season... That is our recommendation... As for the second, it's up to you, but I wouldn't recommend it. Go read the manga from the beginning if you want the whole picture.

I think that the story in season 1 is good itself, so I don’t see a problem leave it there.

I’ve only seen the 1st season, but I am currently reading the manga.
I heard that a lot of stuff were left out in season 2, compared to the manga. So my plan is read the manga, and then watch season 2.

It makes more sense to continue from the manga after watching the 1st season. Personally, I didn't like season 2 very much. It was a bad season for me. I don't think it will be a problem to watch though. i prefer manga

Honestly watching the 1st season alone is perfectly fine if you’re okay with ambiguity at the end of seasons. If you’re not and want a definitive ending, I guess you could watch the 2nd season or go to the manga so you don’t go through what everyone else went through watching it 😭

I would say watch season 1 then read the manga from where it leaves off its an absolutely amazing story that i had to read to get the rest of the experience and it was amazing. The golden pond battle arc is on another level and thats what they skipped from season 1-2 and more but the battle pond arc is highly regarding as an s tier arc in anime.

fr this might be my fav Promised Neverland arc in the manga tbh.
And it's shortly after the point anime stops, so it's perfect to get hooked back in the story when you decide to pick up the manga.

Yea its the perfect re entrance. I just remember as soon as i finished season two with my jaw dropped like really thats it seeing so many people say “ how could you not adapt the battle pond arc” i think the anime would go down as ine of the most beloved if we got the full story. Hopefully we get a full alchemist brotherhood type deal for this anime.

the first season's ending feels like a proper conclusion to a story. it's not some weird cliff hanger. so yeah, I'd say this is one of the few shows where watching only the first season would suffice

I had watched 4 eps from season 2, I remember first 3 eps being on point but I could tell something was wrong on ep. 4 lol. This is where I dropped and decided to continue with the manga. Took me a while till I picked up the manga, but don't regret reading as there's so much to the story after the anime.

I also don't get why you would go for an original story when you already have a finished manga in your hands. I could understand this happening like 20 years ago, but not in this day and time lol.
Who knows what they were thinking. Maybe they couldn't get a greenlight for more seasons? Budget could be a reason I guess.
