Happy new year.
The best manga from my top 10 would be Vagabond, the MC Musashi has like the most realistic character development.
If you love haikyuu, then Slam dunk is a MUST read.
If you love monster, then 20th century boys is a MUST read.
But my fav rn is Land of the lustrous(recency bias), so that would be my no 1 recommendation, but it's relatively harder to get into as it's kind of hard to differentiate the characters for some ppl. The easiest read is definitely slam dunk.

Commenting here as a note that today Dec 30th 2024, I just finished Gintama Season 1. Took 3 year to complete it. Have to say that first 50% (100ep)wasn't so good to hook me up or feel the importance of the show, but in the later half (101ep) was considerably better. It really made me feel what is so unique about Gintama, why I have grown to love it. Absolute gem of a show. Have to say Gintama touched my soul, very, very few shows were able to reach this deep inside me.

Also as an unrelated note, One Piece and Gintama season 1 was on my 'Watching' list for almost the last 3 years. With One Piece till episode 1085 and 201 EP of Gintama it's amounting to 40 days of watch time. Crazy Right? After I mark Gintama S1 complete, my watching list won't ever hold that many watch days. Also as One Piece main anime is on break and I didn't start EggHead I put it on hold for quite a while. Today I put it back to take the pic.

It will be even better since the best arc is coming, hopefully it keeps up the same level of animation quality!

Hm, from those 4 restricted ones i went for Bleach and Shangri-la. I think Shangri-la will have a slightly better score overall compared to DanMachi, but the other factors (dropped, ep discussions, favorites), should be around the same i believe. Also, DanMachi's previous season set the bar very very high for the franchise, and this new season has a tough job to do to deliever something of the same caliber or even better than it, hence why i went for Shangri-la as my pick. But either way, i think both shows are good picks nevertheless, this is just my gut feeling speaking ahah (i do hope DanMachi delievers something amazing again because i love it).

Between those 2 I think it'll be close but I'd guess Shangri-La will have a slight lead. If the quality stays the same from their previous seasons, SL probably wins Comments, Favorites, Score slightly while Danmachi wins Viewers slightly and Dropped. I think Danmachi S4 was a strong season so it's score for 5th will go back down to where other seasons are. Although I'm waiting until the weekend before finalizing.

I get you. I'm stuck in my shitty job EXACTLY because looking for a new one, switching and generally being the newbie in a new environment suck ass.
Somehow I survived "the purge" of firing employees due to financial reasons. My company was in the middle of "the purge" when I was typing the previous comment.
At least with some help of my parents, I got a car so yay. Best purchase ever. I'm finally more independent as public transport in my small town almost doesn't exists.

Damn. Laour market in India souds horrible. I feel like I'd end up on the streets there with my mental incompatibility to pursue strong stress and competitiveness.

I'm just currently catching up with the "City Hunter' manga. We got the hefty XYZ edition here (3 vols in 1) so its a long read hahaha
