My relationship with anime/manga is old, I`ve been watching/reading it throughout my life, during all periods, from childhood to adulthood. In fact, I am pretty hooked on different Japanese shows and pop icons, such as Godzilla (the real one, you know? Rubber suid Godzilla), and all kinds of Tokusatsu. Since I am an adult now and my time is more limited, I focused on watching/reading the animes I find interesting. In this case, I can not point out something I find more interesting than others. For me, all animes have some level of worth. The only one I am not attracted to is the "slice of life" type of anime. Yet, some of them are super fun.
I am addicted to the mecha genre, Gundam is my favorite. So favorite at the point of building Gunplas (a lot of them). Still, I am more attracted to more mature stories (at least on some level, like a good plot, intelligent twists, political intrigue, war-based, etc) like Death Note, Ghost in the Shell, etc, series that are heavily action-based (DB-Z-Super, Jojo, Bleach, Demons Slayer, etc), or, of course, a mix of both (Gundam, Berserk, Bestiarius). Funny animes like Gintama and Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai are also amazing. But again, every anime has its worth.
Nevertheless, I must say I rather read magas than watch anime (aside from some rare exceptions, like Gundam). Well, that's it, I can talk all day. I am always up to discuss anime, so, drop me a line if you want!

Gundam: Iron Blood Orphans? Thank you for recommending it! Unlike The Witch from Mercury... do I need any background information before I start?
