| Well Happy Birthday to Mahiro! I love how all her friends celebrated with her and treated Mahiro like royalty. Not much video gaming in these latest episodes but it's cool to see Mahiro getting center of attention even at school now. |

| Girls are into astrology and horoscopes, real talk there. And Mahiro is getting his first accounts as a girl leaning onto the rage, though Mihari isn't a fan of such contrivances, nicknamed the Barnum Effect as such. But still, you can't help but take a gander, and for Mihari, the month of April...means that it's something noteworthy. Asahi picking up fortune telling, maybe that's a bit on the extreme side, and Mahiro goes light-hearted with animal horoscopes, an elephant is apt for the boy-turned-girl. Of course, being a NEET, Mahiro would forget her own birthday, until she remembers in class. On the part of Momiji and friends, trying to surprise Mahiro of her birthday, and she knows the drill enough to expect anything and everything. But getting rejected by Asahi and ambushed by the rest, it was just a farce for the planned birthday party, and proceeds just like normal being a wholesome birthday celebration, with a birthday cake in toll and the cliche "anything you can order us to do" ticket that brings their friendship closer. Would've been better if Kaede could be involved too, but her handwritten present with the lip balm to doll herself up, might as well give it a try. Mahiro pretties up with Kaede's present of the tinted lip balm, it's trouble in school if people start noticing it, and for sure, girls love makeup a lot. The two boys giving Mahiro chocolate since it's White Day, and they're so dense that they could not catch the drift. Even her homeroom teacher Mari-chan-sensei praises and criticizes her because of school rules, and at the very least, Mahiro got off easy. ihari and Kaede having a fashion make-up bonding session, and for better or for worse, it was a fun and fulfilling session. Happy birthday Mahiro. The final episode dawns upon us next week. |

| Mahiro is in her popular phase! She’s come so far from episode 1, fully embracing being a girl. Being aware of her feminine charms, playing the boys, etc. Too bad sensei made her take the lip balm off. It was really cute. Gyaru Mihari got me about to act up lol, wow wish she’d try different fits more often. As usual, another great episode. What am I gonna do when this show ends :/ |

| It's so like Asahi to give her the ticket. It was hilarious when she went to the toilet instead of her though. Gyaru Mihari looked cool. Also those poor boys, they mistook Mahiro's intention. |

| Got some questions on this episode. 1) I noticed only now that the middle school skirts are much longer than high school skirts. I am not sure if Kaede and Mahiro goto the same school or different but isn't the discrepancy way too big even if Kaede likes wearing them short? 2) What exactly was Mahiro going to say when she got chocolate from the boys? 3) What's the purpose of those girls who just keep on saying "Boys are the worst" and so on for no good reason? Are they just there to insult boys or do they have anything to do with the plot? 4) In the final makeup scene at home, Mihari looked very different but nothing much changed for Mahiro. Did they take the pic without applying it on Mahiro or it just didn't have that much effect? |

| Decent episode, though I wonder, is makeup actually forbidden in schools in Japan? Would really want to know about that. Really wish some of those side characters had more screen time as well. |

| Young girls and astrology go together like hotdogs and hotdog buns and even Mahiro gets in on it lol, but there were some cute bits as a result like the girls and their spirit animals improvised by Mahiro and Momiji with an eyepatch which made her very reminiscent of Nakanaka from Komi Can’t Communicate. And as I thought when Mihari kept it from Mahiro, it was indeed his birthday which is kinda sad that he forgot about it but later on the gang threw him a wholesome party where he was treated like a king, it was also funny how he initially knew what the girls were planning but got upset about them ignoring him anyway lol. And thanks to Kaede’s gift we got a great bit regarding Mahiro using tinted lip balm which ended up attracting the gyarus of the class which was really cute, I especially liked how he was initially embarrassed about all the attention but the moment the boys didn’t notice after giving him White Day chocolate he got upset lol, perfect, and then Mahiro got to meet the harsh reality that he can’t wear makeup at school which makes him side with the gyarus lol. And that final bit with Mihari getting a gyaru-style makeover was something else, I think I’m in love with that look lol and I’m not typically into gyarus, and that final pic the three took together was really cute. Looks like we got one week left, i was iffy of this show early on but I’ve seen the light, this is pure gold and I’m sad it’s gonna be over next week. |

| Another great episode, I liked the dual hair buns that Mahiro had on through most of this episode, very cute. I think that Mahiro is getting more of the mindset of being a girl as even though the thought of a surprise birthday party was correct, Mahiro still cried briefly on Mihari until the girls showed up. Kaede was acting like a 2nd big sister as she usually does and dolled up Mihari which was nice to see. I'm not sure if this was mentioned previously, but apparently Mihari skipped a grade or 2 as mentioned by Kaede, that would explain why Mihari doesn't join Kaede for walking to school. |

But in theory, maybe because it was 2-3 years so maybe the uniform skirt was changed. (If you’re talking about Kaede when she was a middle schooler) 2) In manga, Mahiro think the boys was expected more so she did that, as a fan service for them (I think?) 4) The last one I think? Mahiro didn’t changed much. But I was far from expected about Gyaru Mihari, it way better than the manga. |

| The part where the girls are planning to surprise Mahiro actually got me. When I saw the girls were avoiding him I thought for sure they were planning a surprise party behind her back, but then Mahiro mentions the same thing so I figured it would be the other way around (the girls were planning something very different), but then the girls did hold a surprise party for her lol. | I'm proud of Mahiro for how far he has come from being a shut-in to having a really good group of friends. This time he prettied up on his own volition and embracing for self-expression as a girl. Mahiro is quite a softie too when he thought he is getting ignored was really cute and endearing. That photo filter looks awfully similar to the one that used in the ED. Have been really enjoying the show from the start and I hope we will get the second season of the show. |

| It was amusing to see Mahiro actually forgetting her own birthday until the day in question. After being amused by how the other girls in the class were into horoscopes and astrology, seeing how Momiji, Miyo and Asahi planned their late birthday surprise was sweet. Mahiro thought it would happen, but got depressed when Asahi wouldn't speak to her about it. She shouldn't have to worry, or get depressed, about it, as their birthday surprise worked out well. She was treated like royalty and you can tell how much she enjoyed it! =) The lip balm present from Kaede was sweet, but it came at the risk of being noticeable at school, which ended up being that way. While the other students really enjoyed Mahiro's lip balm, she did get told off by the teacher for using it when it was against school policy. It was nice while it lasted... Once again, Mahiro was spot on in calling out Mihari's repetitive clothing and thanks to Kaede, she dolled up Mihari to look like, as well as act, like a gal. A pretty sexy makeover, if you ask me. =P It's sad that there's only one episode left, but I'm sure that this series will end on a high note. |

| Astrology is fun but yeah horoscopes are just vague and meant to apply to everyone not really proper astrology in methodology and often doesnt even use astrology just random stuff writers make for magazines and websites. For the record the death card in tarot doesn’t actually represent literal death, it’s for end of something which could be a good thing. Ooh Asahi, if only people truly could just go to the toilet on behalf of someone else lol Aw Mahiro looked nice with the tinted lip balm. And yeah this totally reminds me how stupid school dress codes are in general and Japan is even worse than anything at any school ive been to in the West. Never thought id see Mihari dressed up and trying to act sexy-cool. Nuuu, will make me sad. ;_; |
