This just shows how events can be so unexpected in this show for Will and that he must be prepared for anything. In his current state, he still has a lot to learn and room to improve. However, I am still somewhat impressed by his determination and courage. Will just seems like a guy that has a lot of potential for his age. |

| Stagnate isn't someone to go down that easily, splitting himself at the last moment and barely evading that attack from Gus. He wants Will to join him too and sure his words have incited Will to think how he was living his life up until now without knowing anything, thereby regretting and thinking about his past life. Good to see him being encouraged by Mary and now he's determined to face Stagnate and as he said, will try and protect everything on his own. |

| The battle of the heroes-turned-undead gods against Stagnate, is crazy intense. His beckoning for Gus, Blood and Mary's souls, and now playing with Will's innate soul, it's scary to face someone like the High King. Still though, Gus, Mary and Blood being able to "fake it till they make it" in front of Will's earth-shattering mindset, they can't hide it any longer and must teach him to be strong despite circumstances. The human vs. god battle of Will vs. Stagnate, and it's the same as before. The meeting with Gracefeel, the Goddess of the Divine Torch to confound over Stagnate's offer, and Will's resolution still stands to protect his family of himself, Gus, Mary and Blood to make the blessing contract of protection. And it works against Stagnate, but his true goal has always been the gods. I've noticed that the pacing for this episode seems to glance over the minute details to inherently outpace and rush to reach the intended resolution. I definitely don't like this change. |

| Once again I liked the lore but the action sequence were okay. Also good to see Will receiving Gracefeel's blessing. Thou can he save Mary and Blood? |

| Funny how a mere human could stand against the God of Undead. Stagnate has a lot of pride which makes him an easy target so it's pretty understandable. Will managed to get the blessing of Gracefeel. A godly counter against Stagnate. Hopefully, he'll be able to save Mary and Blood. The action scenes are pretty average but the overall story is amazing. |

| Will’s character development has been extremely pleasant to watch over the past few weeks. Going from a timid boy to squaring off with literal deities. It feels like we’ve been right there with him as well. I love the pace of the show too. It just feels like they’re giving everything ample attention. Nice little cliffhanger, really wanna see how will saves Blood and Mary. |

| Man, he faces the god of death at this age... at first I thought that this anime is gonna be more journey-oriented but so far it seems that we are not going to be on the road just yet. I would say that Will shall leave his home near the end of the next episode, but well my predictions are kinda off with this anime. I was living in a belief that this is gonna be 12 ep anime but it is not yet confirmed it seems, given that we would be almost halfway through I really wish that we get more than just 12 eps. Well, I guess we should pray to the virtuous gods. |
| This was pretty good. I guess the real highlights for me were when he gained the blessing of the Goddess of Life and Rebirth and the part he made his oath. Very nice. My only complaint is that it feels like the show feels the need to explain itself too much, Stagnate kept trying to explain everything he did and he felt like a cheap villain more than a motivated scary God. It would do them more good to show than tell during action and intense sequences. Same problem with Will I guess, his monologues are fine outside of combat though. |

| WELL the reason for 3 of the undead concealing their secret is plausible, better than I expected, don't have grown attached to Will that they don't want to lose him. After all, they're not able to leave their domain, so having Will is something they'll never get. However the voice over did not fit the fact that Will didn't tear up, so it felt off for me. And the transition felt sudden and weird as well. |

| I can tell the manga would be much better than this. The art in the adaptation, as well as the lackluster animation and poor VA casting never lets me get too invested. Will feels like an ungodly boring character not becuse of the writing. It’s more on how the VA makes him sound like a wimp when he is doing some pretty badass things. VA is doing a good job, but she just doesn’t fit this character. An actual guy voice would have helped. |
| Idr if I said this before but the OP and ED of this anime kick ass. The animation's a bit underwhelming but it's like that in the actual episode content too. I like that this story doesn't have stereotypical dumbfuck goddesses or gods that are comically evil. Yea Stagnate could qualify for the latter but I think his motivation is solid enough. I just wish his design wasn't so generic. It looks like next episode will be the end of the prologue. I'm waiting to see what kind of adventure Will's about to have. And so far we don't know anything about outside kingdoms and lands and their inhabitants. Is it a scary world or is it relatively peaceful? |
| Only one of the few anime where the LN or Manga would be better because the anime is more suited to a better story telling, the plot has few action sequences which already aren't really being done that well.. The world would be better imagined than what the anime is going for.. The atmosphere just feels too lack luster for the type of plot the anime has.. Will not lie! but the anime has an extremely interesting plot and world building. Its just that the studio being too inexperienced isn't able to do justice to it.. |
| For how important the episode is to the series in the long-run, this felt like the weakest in terms of execution and pacing really. It's not like the anime offers extra stuff with its medium that can make some of the cutting and pacing changes feel justified, here it just felt a bit all over the place for me. |

| Damn, Gus, no wonder with all his mighty past title. Imagine fighting him with those quadruple cast of spell, until its formed a solid line of spell, not just a simple one, eh? But, too bad its not enough to banished the god, with all his trick under his sleeve. Ah, finally the pretty goddess appeared, to enlightened Will way of living in the midst of those harsh world, under Stagnate dark pressure. A lot of Will's past revelations also been showed. From the book he past reminded, about the great sorcerer, who once became someone he admire. I wonder if the book was actually the one place he reincarnated right about there? Still no idea. More Will past coming in, get retold to his new family figure. Don't be like that, Will, you can still make it through! Then, that's Mary support for you, and don't forget about a new blessing he received. A new fight, with a new power-up from the blessing, a new hope indeed. But ofc Stagnate still had a backup plan. What happen next? Its all depends on how fast Will's run, until the next week! |

| In just 4 episodes, the protagonist has gone from learning how to read and write to fighting God, which would be super badass if not for the circumstances surrounding his speedrun. |
| The PTSD of losing your parents at a young age (the 2nd time) is hard on the MC. And then Mary and Blood trying to reassure that everything was fine just makes Will even more sad. I wonder how he'll actually defeat the God of Death tho... unless he can somehow literally kill a God, he'll never be able to leave as he has to constantly stay to protect Mary and Blood? But from all the OP and ED, we know he does leave and go meet other humans... ___ ___ ___ This is one of the few Isekai that the MC isn't OP right from the start. The MC in here actually had to go through regular training to get stronger. (with the exception that he can learn at a young age due to his past memory being intact allowing him to think even as a baby) The blessing isn't special, so that doesn't make him OP, as everyone in that world can receive some sort of blessing. (it's only OP if a buff is applied only to just Isekai MC and no one else) ___ ___ ___ It'll be interesting if at the end of this, Will somehow learn how to break contracts and restore Mary, Blood and Gus to Human. (probably not tho, since the series title already says he becomes a Paladin and not some sort of God) |

| lots of bits being rushed like that part where will broke down, he got himself back up in like a minute lmao but besides that, damn am i enjoying this show a Lot. probably the one i enjoy the most excluding the prequels from this season. theres really nothing special abt it but thats nice too ig, im still able to enjoy things Just Because should not have grown attached to gus, blood, and marry i KNEWWW something was gonna happen to them but Sigh |

| This was a great and epic episode to have. Now what will Will find out in the next episode, I can't wait! The goddess seems to be an ok character for now and there were some RPG like terms that was used so I'm pretty much loving this series! |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| This was a good episode but I just feel like the part when he made his contract could have hit harder, like it wasn't bad but that scene feels like it had so much potential and it didn't totally fill up to it. Overall enjoyable episode. Glad to see Will finally become a paladin, I hope he is able to kill Stagnate and save Gus, Blood, and Mary |

| I think this episode made a good use of the isekai premise to inform Will's character development and the way he addresses this Stagnate situation: prior to this, the isekai part of this felt tacked on, but it's clear now that Will wouldn't be who he is now without the experiences of his former life. However, this episode really felt like its content could have been spread over at least two episodes with just how many big events happened: ideally, it should have ended either when Will confronted Stagnate or when Stagnate knocked him out with the snake attack, rather than cramming everything into one episode like this. Sure, the ideas still came across and the emotion still worked, but it could have been even better with more patient pacing. |

| I heard the source material for this is very high tier but honestly this adaption is pretty mid, the animation isn't good I'll assume the world building will expand later on but at the current stage it doesn't feel much different from a trash Isekai the main character atleast at this stage feels quite generic. |
| We finally got more info about Will's background story. I liked the scene with Gracefeel. I actually like the calm atmosphere although some parts do feel lacking. Wonder if the novel is also giving this calm vibes? Since I do feel like something lacking, but idk if making the fights more intense would help due to the overall atmosphere being quite tranquil. |
