Yo! Welcome to my profile. Feel free to peruse my lists, and if you have anything to say,
leave a comment down below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I hope that you enjoy the final 5 episodes of doremi. They contain some of the most emotionally impactful scenes that I know of. Keep some tissues handy :')
Watched all 4 episodes. It’s literally a masterpiece. Every range of emotion executed to perfection and all connected. Plus it’s done in a style that only animation can accomplish. Absolutely GOATed.
Tbh I've been wanting to rewatch season 2 before starting it, but I've just been so busy that I haven't gotten around to do that. Same with Sheild Hero season 2. At this point I think I just have to get going on season 3 because I prefer watching seasonally over binged.
How've you been liking it compared to the other seasons so far?
A reboot for S&W would be best since there hasn't been any new content in over 10 years. It wasn't like the original was perfect and a reboot would give new anime watchers have an easy in. Kinda like what the Fruits Basket reboot did.
Yeah I saw that when I got off work. It was expected but still a let down. Until they fix how they nominate and how they select the winners I will continue to put very little stock in their awards.
Fruits Basket would have been a nice add as well. Nevertheless, I hope Odd Taxi takes it because I know Sonny Boy doesn’t have a realistic shot unfortunately.
No I definitely agree with you, that was my first though as well. It wouldn't have been a good look PR wise if it one AOTY. That being said, JJK cour 2 should hot have been a nominee since it's really a 2020 anime and Ranking of Kings hasn't even ended yet. I would've put Vivy and Megalobox 2 in their place.
1. There are grammatical errors here and there, and some character names are even mistranslated from time to time. It's not super extreme and still readable. They did make a huge mistake with the translations for volume 17, but I think they fixed it and rereleased it a couple of weeks after the initial release.
2. YenPress doesn't actually modify the content. Tappei himself edits the WN so it's more readable, and changes some things he didn't like. As for whether or not the cut content matters, it depends. Arc 4 WN is completely different in a lot of ways from the LN release (and the anime by default) so I would say the WN is better for that arc. Arc 5 LN trims down some unneeded dialogue, adds in some great moments, and fixes some of the pacing issues. For arc 5, the LN is the way to go. There are definitely meaningful moments in the WN that get cut, but most improvements are for the best (except arc 4).
3. I prefer the WN because of the fan translations. The WN uses a wider variety of language instead of some of the stiff translations that the LN has. The WN has the downside of being too wordy sometimes, but it's usually a better experience. The LN is definitely more refined, but the translations just feel dull sometimes. If you can read the LNs untranslated, that's definitely the way to go.
4. Season 3 should only cover Arc 5. It's an action packed arc that'll probably need 2 cours, though it isn't as long as Arc 4 and won't need extended episode times. Arc 6 is almost as long as Arc 4 and it'll need it's own season
I think a lot of people have been told to dislike Kanojo mo Kanojo. Not directly, but through cultural osmosis. It is a shame. I can’t fault anyone for hating the show though. I’m really happy you found my review intriguing.
Incredibly happy to see that you enjoyed the manga a lot, and glad that the review really helped out. You pretty much hit the nail on the head with my summarized feelings on it too. Definitely one of the most awe-inspiring stories I've come across in manga and I can't wait for when the 5th volume's releasing in November I think. Each volume feels really impactful in various kinds of ways, it's almost magical.
