Hototo's rage is understandable though imo. He's a kid with that anger built inside of him since the incident and it was only a matter of time before he explodes in rage. It's too bad some characters in this show are so heartless though. The otherwise, gun vs sword duel imo was dope. |

| Easily best episode of the series so far. Gained a tremendous amount of respect for kosame today. I liked how his PTSD from his mother’s death was portrayed and how he ultimately overcame it to save his friends. Really nice mini arc for him. 10/10. |

| This anime took a while to get going but damn! Every week is just getting better and better! Kosame was so cool, especially when he cut the bullet! That was a nice moment between him and Hototo too. I guessed a few weeks ago that the 'timid' guy was Gil... you don't get scars on your face like that if your a good boy & no one seems to know anything about him. |

| Oh already a couple of racers have been killed, I's thinking that Gil the snake could be Richard, cu'z it was kinda odd that he was left alive with a minor gash on his forehead. For all we know those cowboy bandits may have been Richard's men that they don't know Oh Kosame, if you don't have any guts to use your katana, then maybe you could have used your karate or whatever hand to hand combat that you bullshitdo's used. |

| This show just keeps getting better, I love it so much. It's good to finally see Kosame be a badass. He's probably my favorite character and I was just waiting to see him actually use those swords of his. Though I find it weird that he carries two swords if he's an Ittoryu (one sword) master, is the second one just a backup? Richard being Gil was pretty obvious. He was intentionally kept hidden and downplayed for a while, debuted late, and he's voiced by a seiyuu known for playing villains. Also the posters and promo art on the official website spoiled this lmao. I look forward to seeing him in action after he abandons the nice guy persona. The preview for the next episode left me interested. I'm a sucker for these slower paced episodes where the characters are just free to interact and play off of each other. I'm expecting to see more of TJ and the Bad Brothers. |

| It lacked a bit of blood to satisfy me but at least the final blow spilled some blood (I regret the previous kills didn't). Kosame faced his own past and probably crossed an important gap on his redemption/recovery. Also, someone mentioned on the previous episode's thread that Richard should be Gil : perhaps he really is ! |

Kosame finally broke out of his emotional cage by facing his childhood trauma to save his friends, displaying a fantastic swordsmanship. I won't complain about the kill. It's a gritty story in the Wild West, and katanas... ARE WEAPONS, FFS! The bad guy was truly wicked and ruthless; you can't spare a man like that, otherwise he'd come back later and cause a tragedy. |

| Pretty great episode! From the very start, some competitors said that this race was dangerous and it could get you killed. Well this episode was a perfect example of that. Some competitors were killed, by Gil's henchmen. Kosame still suffering from his trauma, finally been able to tell Hototo that he's not the only one who lost a parent killed by others. Atleast Hototo looks at Kosame in a different light now. Not much racing this episode, which I am a little disappointed with. But I liked the overall development we got. |

| Was kinda hoping the Gil subplot would be over this episode but then granny went and brought up their leader. Of course the sketchy guy who was being all nice that we met a few eps ago is actually Gil. The whole Samurai dodging bullets by predicting where they will fire is a little much for my non fantasy/sci-fi/supernatural anime... |
| What an episode! It was time for Kosame to overcome his past, what a great episode that this was, Kosame was so badass! And that scene with Hototo, so great! I do wonder if the race will end this season, or this is just a part of the race. Doesn't seem like Appare will be able to upgrade the car any time soon. |

| This episode was beyond ridiculous. lol that fight scene. And the ending was predictable. At least they finally "revealed" it. |

| Kosame trying to ride Appare's vehicle is just hilarious, and in the nick of time, Appare got dozed up to catch up. But the presence of cars and the competitior drivers being killed, most likely Gil's henchmen, and Hototo's time of revenge against the REAL Gil the Snake. Suddenly this isn't a race anymore, it's a massacre with Richard still alive. And for the eagle-eyed, YES HE IS, under the Richard Reeseman alias. Going to a nearby town to spread word seemed like a good idea, but it ends up being a trap from Gil's henchmen, kidanpping everyone else but the coward Kosame instead, whom like Hototo has encountered death at first sight when he was a kid. Well, no matter, time to face your past and overcome it! Kosame's redemption totally felt like the Wild Wild West face-off, he ain't a Samurai for nothing. Appare placing trust in Kosame is just a ballsy move, but it was a trust like no other. With all the action this episode, it's time for a short break next episode. |

| Hooray~ Kosame finally showing what he's made of! “Fury Eternal Wary Moon!” I do hope Kosame killed those Bandits or at least the last one standing otherwise we are destined to meet again. >.> I wished we got a bit more info on those bandits after Kosame took them out Also, now we know what kind of car Appare made. I expected a bit more rocket science to ultimately win the race but oh well I hope this Hybrid will prove me wrong. |

| This was certainly an episode focused on Kosame and coming to terms with the trauma of his past. His trauma struck at the worst timing as he became helpless in his attempt to save Appare, Hototo, Xialian and Al from the bandits. Thankfully, the bar lady took pity in him and was kind enough to listen to his story, in full, as to how his mother was killed by a rogue samurai. With some words of encouragement and some training to vent his anger, Kosame went off to save his friends and bloody hell did he deliver on that front! His strikes were accurate and impressive. Not just that, but the way she sliced that bullet in half was beautiful, which was followed by his 5-hit finisher, the "Fury Eternal Wary Moon". As a bonus, he was finally able to tell Hototo about his traumatic past, so now Hototo knows that Kosame has been through the same hell as him. You can tell that he respects Kosame a lot more now. It seems like Richard really is Gil, as his new look at the end be rather intimidating. Either way, Gil can wait, as the next episode is going to be a well-deserved break for our racers. =) |
| Kosame finally hears the words he needed to hear to get past his trauma, and boy Kosame is strong as hell. We have been waiting to see Kosame's true strength and that's probably not his full strength yet cause he rekt them. This show just consistently gets better, shame it's so underrated. |

| First of all, Id just like to say that I cant fucking stand hototo. Hes trying to act all smug and grown up all the time when he's actually just a lil whiny bitch that wont shut up about his people dying, which is understandable, but why the fuck you gotta interrupt every scene to talk about it. We know dude Secondly, that ending fight scene was pretty cool. I feel like the art went up a score this episode. Sadly, for some reason this show has done a pretty bad job at making me care for all the characters. They're all just so contrived and so clearly following a character template. like... MC smart! He thinks he's better than everyone because smart Side character: hahaha he's wimpy but the only reasonable one Hototo: Kid that doesn't want to be called a kid! Hes native american and angry about the bad men. I dunno. the shows fine but obviously not my favorite |

| No wonder Kosame didn't take the gun if he already has the sword and anime logic skills to slice bullets. Kinda wish the neck-tattoo guy would lose some limbs or be beaten up a bit more, but at least Hototo got his revenge sort of I knew it the Richard guy turned out to be Gil after all, never trust close-eyed characters. |
