It's cool to see Koichi getting more screen time again this season.

Looks like the testing continues. A pretty thrilling episode as it continues to test the limits of Gionro's mentality. Black Sabbath is also a pretty dope stand (it's one of my favorite designs so far this season)

As usual a very nice episode. Really liked the overall presentation of Black Sabbath, David Pro nailed the dread this Stand eminates and both the aniamtion as wella s the directing were top notch. Gotta hand it to the new staff members: They know how to use their budget.

Also good to see that Polpo discovered the new Smash Ultimate banana gun item.

PS: Looks like there was a picture of Jolyne on Jotaro's desk!

Pretty cool episode. Enjoyed the fights and the combinations. And I'm glad the fat boss got his due.

Another amazing episode. Black Sabbath's portrayal was outstanding and the battle was done greatly plus I think we got the whole main theme of this part's OST. It was also nice to see the previous three JoJo's again. Polpo's death is always hilarious and satisfying to see. And goodbye Koichi, it was nice to have you around in the series. Hopefully, Yuki Kaji will come back to reprise his JoJo games' role in the future but I don't see it.

I'm glad they actually gave Koichi

Also, the beatdown theme sounds great, and Black Sabbath and Polpo were both animated very well. Banana-gun was as great as I thought it'd be, too.

This episode was a nice one. Although I am upset to see Polpo introduced in 1-2 episodes. And he get's killed off in the 2nd episode. I thought he might have a bigger role to play. But I guess no longer. Anyways I look forward to the crew. My jaw dropped when I saw the gang right there. Oh dang. O_o

Nah, he's pretty much the Angelo of Part 5.

Great episode, the color palette was great for the fight and so it was the OST. Koichi's role in this part was done well by DP.

That fight was really cool. The way Giorno killed Polpo was creative, didn't expect that.

Koichi's monologue about Giorno and the Joestars was nice.

Black Sabbath is imposing as heck and the battle was great. Koichi was ok in the episode as well. Polpo got the death he deserved (with the banana gun no less). Overall, a fun and nice episode if you forget the amount of Slendermen in the episode

Holy fuck, DavidPro is going all out this Part. Just like the fight against Bruno, they made the fight against Shadow Black Sabbath incredible, with very fluid animation. They even made the Stand look creepier (especially when it removes Giorno's soul/Gold Experience) than in the manga. I'm not going to jump to conclusions, but if they keep this level for the rest of the series, the next events are going to be amazing.

And we must say farewell to Koichi

Also RIP Polpo. You were a fat bastard, but an entertaining antagonist with a cool Stand despite the few screentime you had. His death with the OST and Giorno's monologue was very well done too. It shows you that, despite having inherited the heroic nature of the Joestars, when you commit an injustice in front of him, Giorno can be as ruthless as his father Dio.

Cannot wait to meet the rest of Bruno's gang in motion next week. Also want to hear their voices.

Yeah, the manga even makes it explicit that Polpo's death was ruled as a suicide since he turned up dead well after Giorno left.

I see they changed being stabbed through the hand in the manga to grabbing it instead.

I can assume too many manga-readers were asking questions about that scene

Something that I've always loved about Jojo is the creativity that comes with these Stand battles. I love seeing the different ways each Jojo uses their Stand to outwit and defeat their opponents, like turning a gun into a banana for instance.

Black Sabbath was a cool Stand, but I guess that's as much as we're gonna get now that Polpo is dead. Good riddance to him though, for what he did to the janitor.

Ah, how good it felt to hear "MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA" again.

Did anyone else think the audio mixing was a little weird? It seemed like the music kicking in when Giorno decided he had to fight Polpo's stand even if he was a capo was really quiet...and then when GE punched Black Sabbath the sound effect was crazy loud?

Perfect outro. It gets so much shit, but its hillarious and bizarre. Good fit for Jojo. (im personally more disappointed by the OP, its good, yes. But still. We have "good" in so many anime, I was hoping for atleast great)

Was it me or had this episode a really low production quality? cant wait to rewatch the polished bd version, but I was not expecting the "no face" syndrom with 2 characters on screan.

Fantastic episode. Directly improves upon the manga too, it removes the inconsistency we had where Golden Experience actually got stabbed with the arrow and nothing happened. Also added a scene where they properly dismiss Koichi from the story unlike in the manga. You can really tell that this adaptation is being done with a huge amount of love, there's so much good additions and changes in the first 4 episodes already that I'm really looking forward to seeing what's more to come down the line.

Also I thought the way they handled the finishing moment was absolutely fantastic, that resolute music and the better build-up really changed the scene up in my eyes, especially with how hard Giorno's execution line hit thanks to the great art.

Well, this episode is pertty better than episode 2 since is focused and there is proper anticipation to actions. And Polpo was so stupid at the end. I don't think we will give a shit about a character who was killed so easily.

The only thing left from here is if this would trigger some future events. Will the other members think that he suicided, or this would lead to an investigation to figure out who did it?

Is it just me or was the first half of the episode, although incredible, paced weirdly fast? idk, it just felt kinda weird. Still masterfully directed and animated, though although I could live without the incorrectly drawn faces of far-away characters before the blu-ray release DavidPro pls
