| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I actually find this photography club at their school to be pretty interesting. It revolves around photography and I think if Hitomi tries enough, she can fit right in. Plus, some of their members seems really invested into the activities. As Hitomi puts it, just like magic, contemplation is key. The story still feels somewhat slow but I'm glad to see Hitomi open up more. She's even joining the club! |

| So the colourblindness is starting to cause some problems, well Hitomi is mostly to blame for it since she didn't tell anyone. Tho i can understand her being insecure about it. The question that remains is will she be able to see colour again and with that i mean the colour of the world and not just some paintings. |
| Hitomi is trying to get better at magic for Yuito. That's good to see. After 3 episodes we finally get to see some decent interaction between Hitomi and Yuito. Hitomi told Yuito about her secret. Good to see her opening up to everyone, cleaning the pool together. She even asked to join the club. Kurumi and Chigusa is a thing (probably). And seems like Asagi has a crush on Shou. Don't wanna see any pointless love triangle though. Like Asagi -> Shou -> Hitomi (Just speaking my mind). Kohaku is back now too. Guess we'll see her in the next episode. |

| still dislike how dull the characters look also, what's japan's obsession with Pocky? pocky here, pocky there. they aren't even that good... also, what is the point of recruiting more people to the club. they said "they do nothing just hang around and capture photos". i get that 4-5 people for minimum club requirement would be fine, but what's the point of more photo club members? more school funds? |

| The thing is that Hitome would have made it over the pool, if she haven't gotten distracted. Good to see that her magic is improving and that she joined the club. Still like the calm atmosphere of this show very much. Looking forward to the return of granny next week. |

| This episode was another good one The visuals tell a compelling story that doesn't need words or cheap monologues Hitomi's character is Amusing and the using of colours is unique and interesting I like the fact that Hitomi tries to keep this Hidden, it perfectly plays with her insecurities and Her colour blindness The final scene with them in the pool perfectly visualized how Hitomi is finding herself while, at the same time, showing how the photography club is finally coming together(Shown by the arrival of the GrandMother) AwesomeAlfie27 approves these 3 episodes |

| Idk about how I personally feel about the show yet....I mean, the animation is still VERY much amazing, but in terms of the settings, story, and characters, I've yet to really feel attached to any of those. I guess it'll take time...I mean, Violet Evergarden and A Lull In the Sea have started out slow themselves. |

| So Yuito realized that Hitomi can't see colors, huh. It can't be easy for her, she ended up getting in trouble for not being able to distinguish colors, and was also afraid of being honest. I can't blame her though, and I'm glad that Yuito respected her wish, and didn't tell anyone. Oh, and the magic training, and the "popocky" were nice too! But I really think Yamabuki is interested on her, and it's nice that they are going to get closer by chance because he takes monochromatic photos. I can't wait, even though I don't want to see him getting hurt. The kind girl from Hitomi's class is going to get hurt too, the one that photographs insects and animals, because she seems to like Yamabuki. |

| Despite the fact that she used the wrong coloured magic Hitomi was able to walk on the pool for quite a while, until she was distracted at fell in. It shows that she's starting to get better at using magic now. =) Although her dunking into the pool might've seem like a set back for the club's attempt to have her join, she still decided to join them anyway. I'm sure she'll have some more fun with the club now. Not only that, but Yuito was able to figure out that she wasn't able to see colours, but it's nice of him to keep it a secret from the others for Hitomi's sake. However, I have a slightly bad feeling that the others will find out eventually, so I wonder how that will play out. Either way, I'm looking forward to the next episode as Hitomi's grandmother is returning home. It should be another great episode, I hope. ^_^ |
| There are things that I like with this series, such as Hitomi and the main theme of the anime but the problem right now is that I don't like any one of the side characters so far. This can of course change during the run and hopefully will change! The one I dislike the most is the main boy love interest, he's just dull. All of the other boys at least have something that makes them stand out in the show except for him The animation and art are as gorgeous as ever and granny will be back in the next episode so that's something to look forward to. This whole thing with a photography club seems pretty familiar as Tada koi aired a few months ago |

| Nice progress between Hitomi and Yuito. It's pretty interesting how Hitomi used the correct magic unconsciously despite having the wrong formula and she failed only after they told her, her potential is crazy good. Yuito was pretty smart in figuring out the color blindness too and suggesting doing monochrome photography. Next week will have grandma and from the looks of it she will stir things up a lot. |

| The magic in this seems really intriguing. I'm glad Hitomi finally opened up to the others. Even joining the club! Only Yuito's art had colours for Hitomi... I'm wondering if she would be able to finally see the colours again in the end... 'Popocky'? I kinda chuckled at that part~ I can relate to Hitomi's liking towards Pocky. I mean, I've been eating Pocky since I was a child and they taste really good till this day~ My rating for the episode: 4.4/5. And yes, the grandma is finally coming! |

| Really nice episode. The first three episodes so far having been good. I hope the rest of episodes will follow through. She was walking fine in the water cause she new she used the magic bottle so things would go without problem. When she was told she used the wrong bottle she fell in. You can see that she actually acknowledged what was said to her in that moment so she knew she couldn't be walking over water (even though she was doing that just fine) so falling would be the expected result in her head. It was said in the second episode that she has amazing powers, but she doesn't practice. She probably did something that went wrong and now thinks that she can't do anything (which i imagine must be a really bad way of thinking while doing magic) and therefore she fails when she tries doing something. |

| Good episode again. So she really is color blind as in can only see Black and White, they've been hinting at it for a while but I'm glad we got confirmation on this. Though I wonder if the reason she lost color is more because she lost interest in the world rather than being color bling by nature. Given that she can see the color in the painting and the fact that Hitomi was able to walk on water even without the special sand it might just be that her magic is influenced easily by her own thoughts. So the more mundane look she has on the world the more Black and White it is and the more she begins to enjoy her life the more colorful it'll become. It kinda makes sense to me because the fact that she was able to walk on water without the sand makes me thing it's just because she strongly believed that she could. The moment she realized that she can't actually do it, she fell in. Just a theory though. Liked the scene where Hitomi herself realized that she has to face the group and I'm glad they didn't turn things too dramatic. Asagi really grew on me because of that one scene where she tears up because she thought Hitomi was avoiding them, such a sweetie. <3 Looking forward to more next week. |

| It was nice to see Hitomi's magic. She walked on water despite using the incorrect bottle. And, what was up with the pocky? I like how everyone acts like magic is so normal here. It wouldn't have been as interesting to watch Hitomi keep her magic a secret. I am curious about Hitomi's use of colours. I feel like she squeezed out a lot of Crimson Red and Prussian Blue. Do you really need that much? I don't have any experience with gouache, but I know that we don't need that much of reds and blues when using water colours. I am really loving this story, so far. No one is dying or fighting for life and death. Magic is not a weapon, but a part of a person. The protagonist isn't after a big goal. She is just trying to get used to the new world. The biggest complication so far is that she can't see colours, which is a scary thing for me (an artist). |
| Solid episode! Hitomi learning a bit of magic and actually applying that during the ‘modelling’ was nice to see. Guess she really can’t see colours though but her drawing of those bunnies sure was exceptional! Looks like Yuito knows of her secret now too, so I’m curious to see how he’ll take it in the coming episodes. It really is unimaginable to live a black-and-white life, indeed. Hitomi joining the club at long last was nice to see. On another note, seems like the Granny is back! I can’t wait to see what she’s like now. |

| So, Hitomi was invited to the photography club, and went to a small course that the club offered. She ended up being the model of the photos and fell to the pool. After all that, she could strengthen her bonds with her partners and finally join to the club, getting closer to Aoi. Pure slice of life development, the whole episode slow paced so they can develop the characters and relationships between each of them. Again, animation, backgrounds and details are in another level of greatness, excellent work P.A. Works. |

| This show is being awesome to watch, i feel well and calm watching this, with this wonderful art! So Yuito realized that Hitomi can't see color! Poor Asagi when Hitomi avoided her in class, she make a really cute face, really sweet girl! Hitomi walking in water without the magic to walk on water, her magic have to be strong! I am glad that Hitomi went talk with group! waiting for next episode! |

| Why it is so calm to see Hitomi-chan on this anime every week ? Is it the time to add her to my waifu list ? Photography club background bring me the tadakoi aura, except the main girl isn't ojou-sama, but a time traveler. I'm glad Aoi finally noticed her problem. Grandma joined the server guys ! |

I know, and it's not just in Japan, but the Japanese lover society in the west. Everytime I go to an anime or japanese gathering there will always be pocky. A japanese party? Pocky as well. Always pocky here and pocky there. But one thing that I disagree is that pocky I do love pocky and it's the best chocolate snack I've ever had. Pocky for life. And regarding the number of club members, I thought it was pretty obvious but I guess people who've never participated in any club activities wouldn't know, but your club funding heavily depends on the number of members that you have. And not just that, you're basically allowed to use more of the school facilities and hold bigger events if you have more members. But the most important thing is the money. |

| I'm somehow growing more and more worried that this is going to be the next Kiznaiver and the second half is gonna be all about love-polygon drama. I really wish I'm wrong about this, but I just can't shake it off my mind with some of the weird facial expressions and all. |

| Hitomi is slowly opening up to others. By picking the wrong sand, she was still able to walk accros the water, her magical powers are bigger than she is aware of. But then again, she kinda blocked that potential herself. I really like the Photography Club members a lot, Hitomi would do really good to have them as friends. So Yuito figured it out that Hitomi can't see colours. She now wants to tell everyone else. Visually it still is going so incredibly strong. |

Dude if you don't like Pocky then you're eating it wrong. Or you just like oversweetened snack or prefer chips. They're perfect and balanced between the amount of chocolate and the stick shape makes it fun to eat. Anyway I see where this is going, isn't it obvious that Hitomi made the decision to join the club because there's a guy who mainly took monochrome photo. And that guy happened to be the guy who saw Hitomi doing sparkling magic. I smell NTR |

| It's so sad that Hitomi is unable to see colors :( I think that must be the reason she looks so aloof? Because she only sees black and white, she must feel so bored because of that. Hope Aoi can show those bright colors again, so she can feel more happy and entusiasm. She deserves happiness for god's sake! Asagi's cry just broke my hear ;-; Can't blame Hitomi for wanting to be distant from them but she should have avoid making eye contact. So Hitomi finally decided to join the Photography & Art Club... But am I the only one who thinks that she volunteered to join as a form of appology from avoiding them? Cuz it seems it worked! Or maybe it's because of Aoi? X3 So Hitomi's young grandmother will appear next episode. I can't wait to see how it goes ^^ |

| Hitomi: the Colorblind Fauvist! FFS, I can see the love pentagon...no hexagon...uh septagon forming Art is a notch lower from the first episode(naturally), but still looks good, of course. Some say this was too slow; it was, but I thought it was a solid traditional buildup episode. You can see the dynamics between the cast developing. But not extraordinary. Just about what you'll expect from PA. Didn't like the 'Hitomi ignores the club members' scenes, it's like they tried to make a whole episode/arc out of it, with lots of Hitomi solo pondering, heartache and an elaborate MC speech scene towards Hitomi to make her come back to the club, but then just decided not to and made do with those two minutes of uncertainty. It came off as half-arsed to me |
