| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- ZURAMP JA NAI, KATSURA DAAAA!!! Best way to start an episode, lol. Interesting fact: the person Zura’s based off of, Katsura Kogorou, got rid of the Tokugawa bafuku and created the Meiji government. In Gintama, Katsura replaced the Tokugawa bafuku with a more Meiji-like government system, with elective representatives and whatnot. Lol, Katsura doesn’t even care about the people that try to assassinate him in the middle of his speech. Hah, the constitution will be published on Jump magazines. Pfft, Even Elizabeth has that mustache. Can’t even blame Katsura for everything as it seems like it’s all Matsudaira’s fault. Though Yorozuya, or specifically Shinpachi, is hired to assassinate Zuramp-kun. LMAO, Sakamoto has the best timeskip design! Dude lost so much money from cryptocurrency that he’s forced to look and play the part of Kaiji! The steel beam walk from the second arc, lol. And Mutsu turned the Kaientai into a black market merchant, haha. All those Kaiji villains with charm points, as if you couldn’t make them more hideous looking! It seems like the goods Shinpachi’s about to collect is a person. Just when we thought that we would get timeskip Kagura, we got some loli Kagura instead! The Final Fantasy continues! And meanwhile, we get to finally see Gintoki after two years, meeting up with Takasugi. At the remains of Shoka Sonjuku ;_; Gintoki’s new clothes are quite more mature-looking. And Takasugi still looks the same. It seems like that’s Oboro’s grave right there. I wonder why Takasugi would be here. Ooh, a short clash between Gintoki and Takasugi. It was a bit longer in the manga. Whoa, Takasugi’s cut healed instantly. How did he get Altana in his body? But we get to see timeskip Hijikata too. Lol, he captures Gintoki, but not the sketchier Takasugi. We saw Takasugi opening the doors to the enclosed Tendoshuu, so I wonder what Takasugi did. Seems like the story isn’t over yet! This Mob-Cop guy is taking a lot of screen-time for a background character. Mob-Cop is too distracting in a serious scene. I thought that mayo function would get Hijikata’s attention. Mob cop’s about to reveal his true identity and it is… Yamazaki? Wut? He apparently did die, but was restored as a… cyborg? I know Sorachi loves to shit on this character, but now it’s just depressing, lol. When will Yamazaki bloom? Meanwhile Shinpachi’s stuck with two lolis. Lol, Kagura gave birth to Kanna like Piccolo? And Sougo obviously didn't commit seppuku! 3 chapters adapted (chapter 672-674). A couple of pages at the beginning of 675 was covered too. Some dialogues were cut about Takasugi during Takasugi and Gintoki's talk, but nothing important. The more disappointing cut was Gintoki vs. Takasugi. It was only one clash in this episode, when it went on for a page or two in the manga. Nothing too major though, since it seems like BNP will be too busy animating Kanna vs. Sougo next week, plus some mob fights with |

| This is fantastic, these post time skip episodes are pure gold. XD ZURUMP JA NAI KATSURA DA!!! Katsura's speech was freaking awesome. XD He took no shit from those assassin's, Elizabeth the hidden bodyguard. Hilarious how it was Matsudaira who set everything up from Katsura becoming Prime Minister to the assassination attempt. xD Sakamoto playing Kaiji, Hahahaha. XDD Mutsu in the black market, for a second there I was super hyped to see time skip Kagura but it turned out to be her KID?!! My reaction was almost the same as Shinpachi, the Final Fantasy phenomenon is still going on?! XD Glad to see Gin-san again, he's out on the country side returning to the place he grew up. Interested meeting with Takasugi who is now immortal like Utsuro? :o Hijikata!!! That interrogation cracked me up, Gin-san with his crafts maneuvers turned everything into interrogating RoboMobCop and Hijikata instead. xD The scene where MobCop prepares Katsudon was so funny, he was going Super Saiyan. XD Turns out MobCop is actually YamazakiShibasaki. XD That part where the light returns to Shinpachi's eyes when Kanna puts the glasses on him was hilarious too. Kagura gave birth to Kanna like Piccolo? What? xD SOUGO!! His entrance was so awesome and I love that still shot of him charging to close out the episode. Can't wait for next week. |

| Lmfao I can't even. I think Utsuro should have won at this point. Matsudaira made Katsura the prime minister and now wants him dead. Sakamoto is playing Kaiji rofl Kagura puked a daughter like a Namekian by eating bananas though I actually think it's just Kagura trolling. Cannot really believe that lmfao And we have Yamazaki who was forgotten by everyone and stole randomly the spotlight. Darn you Final Fantasy phenomenon you have **cked up everything. xD |

| References, references AND MORE FUCKING REFERENCES! Gintama was truly back today. From Katsura being 'Donald Zuramp', Tatsuma being Kaiji in its best arc with the metal beam crossing, to fucking Kagura having a 'kid' and much, much more. We even get to see Gintoki again. Such a fun and fucking great episode. I loved this so much. |

| LOL they even had Katsura say "You're fired!" which was basically Trump's catchphrase. Funny how Matsudaira is the reason for Katsura being in that position, and now he's trying to get him killed. Kagura having a kid came as a surprise, but the reveal of how she was created was hilarious. Yamazaki became a cyborg.....that poops katsudon...because Gintama. Okita came back in a badass way, can't wait to see him more in the next episode. All of this shit going down is extremely weird and ridiculous, and I fucking love it. |

| now my main question is if we actually get to see kagura and sadaharu later on.. the animation was really good this episode jokes and references were great too. i love how after 10+ years the remains of Shoka Sonjuku remains intact lol. also sougo looks badass af, though i wished he would fight with the real kagura..or shinpachi, i'd love to see shinpachi in action. but seriously, will we get to see kagura or not?.. |

| Kagura has a daughter is one of the most wtf moments in the entire series which says a lot. I love the way she innocently asks about how having a child is dirty. Poor Yamazaki got turned into a robot LOL |

| Lol what the hell is even happening now...Yamazaki is now Mobocop and steals the spotlight, knew it was him from his voice, Sakamoto's bankrupt, Mutsu's dealing in black market and Kagura has a kid?!! lmao. Good to see Gintoki and Hijikata again and Takasugi seems to be immortal. So many unanswered questions. Sougo of course is alive and well and ready to fight. |

| At least Yamazaki is alive even as a robot. And little Kanna is so cute :D I'm guessing Takasugi gets Utsuro's blood to be saved as he's on a verge of death that time. |
