I started anime in 2015 by recommendation of my friend and got fascinated by this wonderful world. Actually, I watched Death note in 2013 in the first place but I did not realize that these kind of shows were referred as "anime" at that time. So, first anime I watched was Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, "officially". I really felt pleased by this outstanding piece of art and started to seek for other nice animes. Then, short time later, I found Steins;gate which was the most spectacular show I have ever watched. At that time, I realized that I love this world and want to find out more about this world.
And now, after a one year and 4 months since I have started watching, I have completed 100 shows (movies, different seasons of same anime, OVAs, specials) and I want to watch even more. Some shows definetely changed my point of view and perception of the world and life. I felt different emotions that I even did not have an idea before. I want to explore this world more and more and continue to meet different characters, feelings, comedies and sad stories to enlighten my world.

I see you're in a slump at watching things hope you'll get back to it soon!
Emma, nice. Now I'm already positively disposed to you since you enjoyed it. It's a feel good and chilled manga, even though it had its drama haha.
From what you said on your profile, I find it interesting that you saw Death Note in 2013, but you weren't aware of the existence of "anime". You probably thought it was a standard cartoon. Why I'm noting this was because I experienced the same thing, although mine was back in the early 2000's (like 2002/2003) when I used to watch Digimon back in primary school. It's great to read through how the discovery of more anime has improved your outlook and disposition to a lot of things in life.
How am I doing? Well, I'm fine. I'm currently at my workplace doing nothing as usual. How about you?
I know that feeling. One Piece can be really addicting, especially in your case where you can watch so many episodes in a row haha. Yeah I'm up to date. I watch it since the first day it came out in my country and that's 17 years ago. Back then I had never expected that it would ever be such a big part of my life :)
Sounds nice. Definitely let me know when you've catched up!
I actually started One Piece while finally giving shounen a chance after dismissing the battle shounen genre for a long time. I had thought: I'll watch a handful of episodes and drop it, then move on to other series. At some point it became the only battle shounen I focus on and I definitely never dropped it.
I'm looking forward to that too~
Of course, this is only speaking about characters you already know!! :D
