Welp, as I had expected, they performed as a band together to wow the audience.

Personally, I'm not impressed by the music/song but I guess the audience likes it. I'm surprised how long it was though as it took quite the amount of screen time for the band to get the audience over. Even in the finale, they still had a bit of drama going from Nino's perspective and her love triangle with Momo and Yuzu.

Well, show was okay for me. It felt a lot like a music drama than a typical shoujo.

Last scene of last ep., which means Noise performance as OP. Then Canaria.

Yuzu also froze when seeing his mother, who came to the performance(!). Alice tries to get him back.

She attracted more audiences.

Back to school without Momo. She thought singing her best didn't reach him.

The video of the performance realized that she did.

The guys met that night when she fell asleep tried searching for Momo.

Trying "not to hide"... meaning continuing? (which means the anime ended with open ending)

Alice got more crazy than usual. The band was very surprised. They barely managed to keep up with her. Yuzu froze a bit when he saw his mother in the crowd. Their performance attracted lots of people that they couldn't fit in the venue. Alice really did reach Momo. He disappeared afterwards. She still won't give up on him and Yuzu won't give up on her. Overall, this was a terrible show.

Decent finale I guess, they pretty much left the romance hanging. :(

The performance was great, Nino went full berserk mode. The part where she says Let it Rip was epic. Yuzu's solo was fantastic after his recovery from shock. I hope his Mom had a change of heart after that.

Glad to hear Nino's voice reached Momo. :)

Momo decides to disappear not before giving Nino a small peck during the time where she conveniently falls asleep on the grass from exhaustion. xD
Yuzu is just too damn good for is own damn good, what do we do with this guy? I feel really sad when I see him chase after Nino who has eyes only for Momo, it's even sadder when you watch him help Nino gain confidence to go after Momo. I suppose all I can give him is my respect, Gambare Yuzu! XD

Overall, it was a good series, I feel this show would've been much better with 2-cour considering the development we've had over the course of this season, the music aspect of the show was good and I loved all the performances. Really liked the intertwining backstories of Yuzu, Momo and Nino, Unfortunately the romance in the show was pretty much left hanging with Nino and Yuzu deciding not to give up and Momo's motives remain unknown. The show does pretty much make you root for Yuzu though, Momo never really got enough screentime or rather, he had nowhere near the impact Yuzu had during the series which is why I feel that this show would have been better as two cour. A second season is probably unlikely so I guess I'll wait till the manga ends before picking it up to see the bitter end of this love triangle.

Everything I said aside, The real star of this show was Hayami Saori for her stunning performance on Nino. I honestly don't know how hard it must've been to scream and sing during the recording sessions. Amazing voice acting, she's always been one of my favorite Seiyuu's and this show is a good example of how good she is. Great Job once again.

The last two episodes were actually decent, but not enough to make up for the bad middle part of the show.

Not getting a real conclusion regarding Nino and Momo leaves also a bad taste in my mouth. Well, can't be helped since it's only one cour.

Its been a long time since i wanted to murder a character just as much as i want to murder Nino right now. Momo is the most retarded, i actually mean retarded character and Nino is mindblowingly annoying. Thank god im not gonna see them again, the suffering is over >_< poor Yuzu honestly the most decent guy as he said you cant tell your heart who to fall in love with. sucks for him that it had to be the most annoying girl on the planet (and selfish)
Its not often that i hate anime as much as i hated this one but thats because its a character-driven anime. If 2 main characters (out of 3) are just unbearable its a given that you will hate the anime.

The series started off clumsy but got better once they got rid of the la-la-las and twinkling stars.
Last two episodes were amazing.
Glad they showed the performances of three songs this episode! Loved them all!

Okay, I think the finale was decent enough... and made me dislike Momo less than I should I guess. But still, Momo is rather shit anyways, but passable. I will go and mention that the performance albeit not perfect, it was a good compared to the others that were around... I felt satisfied with this at the very least.

Overall, Fukumenkei started off completely average to rather clumsy at the beginning, but then got better progressively. Not enough to gain an solid 8 for me (even though I'll give it anyways because of the .5 rating scale) but it was pretty nice nonetheless. Decent drama, or at least okay drama, good characters, decent artstyle although this will not work much, music is rather good and my enjoyment was pretty nice and solid. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone if they want a slightly more mature drama because this isn't even the slightest of that... but the drama itself for what it works it's fine.

Overall an 7.5/10 (8/10 for MAL)

One big emotional mess of a final the was fitting for how the entire anime was all season long. I'm left with a bittersweet taste in my mouth as I had hoped Yuzu would finally be able to express his true feeling for Nino and confess his love to her but in the end Nino Yuzu and Momo are all still holding onto their true feelings and hoping that the can reach the one they love with their music. I don't know if this anime will get a second season if I had to guess I would say no but a second season wouldn't be a bad idea either. If this is the very last episode of the series it can still be interpreted to be a clean end that delivers the message they set out to give the viewers. In any case this anime was a surprise for me because I had anticipated that I would be terrible at the start of the season but it ended up being pretty decent. I would say this anime deserves a solid 6/10 for its efforts. Maybe we'll get a second season that wraps up the romance with a nice bow but...I wouldn't hold your breath.
I shall rule over the realms of anime and manga! Mwahhahahahaha!!!

Live performance was awesome. This sound is piercing me so hard that I empathy all this strange plot stuff and weird characters (and turn the blind eye to one of the worst visuals in my life). It would be a lie to said that I enjoyed this series less than a 9/10. But it definetly would be a lie to say Fukumenkei Noise didn't have a big pile of problems inside itself.

But man, that Canary intro...

I think the main problem with this show, to me, was the really cheap drama. I know that shoujo tends to exaggerate, but c'mon. We still don't know what the deal is with Momo's mom, her entire character feels like forced drama, much like Yuzu's mom.
The ideia that Nino would grow as a character and a singer was interesting, but, in the end of the day, the only thing about her is her obssession for Momo.
I liked the melodies and the lyrics, but Nino singing was...kinda bad.
Oh well.

I was kinda excited when I started this anime because I liked the shoujo+music combo. But geez, the teen angst was cringeworthy, and the characters were even worst. The only one I found slightly decent was Yuzu, and I still hated him at times xD
These two last episodes weren't that bad, actually I even liked some scenes, although they were made in a really half-assed way xD

Those of us who have read the manga appreciated the music It may not be great but it is supposed to be done by high school students It is obviously not Nana but shows the motivations behind the music The singers are not robots Iu want perfect music buy the album Not the same kind of feel where live music is about who excited the crowd

Enjoyed the performance... Alice crushed it! Poor Nino though, but good for her too! I hope Yuzu eventually finds the love he deserves. As for Momo... he's just a no-good punner. They really needed an extra half-episode or so to flush out his arc better.

I don't know why this anime is getting so much shade and hate. I thought all the way from the first episode to the last was interesting and different from most anime that I'm used to. Maybe my taste in anime is trash but I didn't find Fukumenkei Noise to be horrible and crappy like everyone is pushing it to be.

Even to this last episode this show had me entertained. I thought it found out was cool that Nino played Yuzu's part when he froze and actually wanted her voice to reach Yuzu for once instead of Momo. I was slightly happy for Nino since she got what she wanted and reached Momo, but pissed off since Yuzu was, once again, the one to push her to go after Momo in the process. Also, I was pretty much pissed off with Momo and his bipolar self for saying he's going to disappear, yet comes back just to kiss Nino and leave again. I don't care if he's distancing himself to protect Nino, but he could've handled this situation much better instead of putting Nino through so much.

Moving on, whether it be me screaming out of frustration with Nino's obsession for Momo and her being completely oblivious to Yuzu's feelings, I was still entertained and I really did love In NO Hurry and the slight development they went through.

However, I do have to agree that there were some flaws. That 3D animation they attempted to do when In NO Hurry was on stage was poor, and I felt other things could have been animated better. The music wasn't anything huge and I also have to agree that I did find some things annoying for example Nino constant obsession about Momo, her constant outbreaks with singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and some straight up cringey moments. Also, I kinda wish they elaborated more with the story and developing the side characters a bit and not make it entirely focused on Nino just wanting to reach Momo.

Despite all that, it wasn't enough to make me hate the anime as a whole or want to drop it, the art style didn't bug me, Nino screeching on the top of her lungs didn't bug me, because at the end of the day, I was still left wondering and curious about what was going to happen each week on the next episode unlike Fuuka which I dropped after a few episodes.

Overall, even though this may be pushing it, but I do hope to see a season 2, just to see what happens next like if Yuzu's mom is really going to accept him pursuing a career in music, if Haruyoshi and Miou will get together or something, if Momo will stop playing games and be done with running away, if Yuzu will be done with all this bs, and see if this whole love triangle drama is resolved or something and to expand on the story and the band a bit further. I hope Nino opens her eyes, stops being oblivious and comes to her senses that the perfect guy has been right with her all along. Fukumenkei Noise really wasn't that bad. Lastly, #TeamYuzu all the way.

Nah, you shouldn't worry about having 'bad taste', each one of us like different things and have a different taste in anime overall. It's true that there are really horrible anime out there but those are usually scored >4 on Mal :/ and definetely this isn't one of those

The anime omitted a character from the manga based on episode 12.
I guess they're playing safe if there will be no future sequel.
Nevertheless, when I thought that it was ROCK it included growling. hahaha. so funny. the anime made it too dramatic and successful as a musical in genre. They really did a good job.

So much shit left resolved that a season 2 is a must!

I want to know more about Yuzu's dad and their backstory.

Why would Momo's mother want to ruin Nino?

What's up with Momo's mother to begin with?

Also why can't Momo just be real with his feelings?!?!

These songs though are freaking flawless though.

Overall a great anime.

I couldn't feel the whole drama, and because of this, I wasn't able to enjoy this series. Momo was a complete trash, main heroine was blind. Direction lacked in many places too, with art-side as well.

The music in this anime has really, really grown on me. When Canary came on, I could literally feel my heart skip a beat. It just feels so raw, and I think that's what makes it so hypnotizing. The drama itself is pretty simple and lackluster, but combined with the music, it makes something above ordinary. 6/10 overall. I really like Nino's character, as well.

I really need to continue with the manga. Anyone know what chapter the anime ends on?

Pretty much this. The music is pretty great and how they present the rock band performances was spectacular but sadly, the melodrama is extremely cringy and not something new.

Most of this series was "Momo! Momo!!!!" The characters felt kind of.. One dimensional. These characters don't have any better objectives other than crushes? It's so odd to me.

Eh, I give it a 6/10 for Yuzu....and I did see some effort put into the show itself. That's more than I can say for SOME shoujo adaptations *coughmamottelollipopsuckscough*

The worst parts of the show are Momo and Nino when she's thinking about Momo.

................unfortunately, we had to deal with that TOO MUCH.

Lol, they're all dumb teenagers in a drama-rom; did you expect something different? XDDD

If you look at it from a non-romantic view; Yuzu's objective was to create a perfect place for Nino to express herself and Nino's was to find a place where she belonged.

These both turned into "We're gonna make our band succeed no matter what".

That makes it a little deeper, I think.
