| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dang, that was a close call. If Yona would of been caught there, it would of turned ugly.. So training arc began this episode with archery. I think Yona is doing fine so far with that although she needs to control her mental strength better. Looks like Yona gets a sword next episode. Oh boy. |

| Equipment preparation for long trip. The princess experienced how hard they live to provide the people for the empire food. Archery practice. Very cruel truth but has to bear. Then meeting the people protecting Hakuryuu village with the mist. Meeting Hakuyuu warrior next. |

| Not a bad training montage for Yona getting ready to #rekt some fools with her bow skills. She's still so worked up over Su-won and it's the magic word to get her to go into based mode. Poor Hak. Anyway, we finally get to see one of the dragons next week. I want it. Now. And Hak, if Yona wants a sword, get her this one. I've heard it's all the rage right now (give or take a galaxy far far away).  |

| Another great episode :D Not bad Pierrot :3 Love the comedy moments with all Hak's teasing lol XD Yona in a bag was fun ^^ Her pouting when Hak told her he won't train her was cute <3 She's so serious about getting stronger. Loved how she kept training even in the middle of the night. I wouldn't be surprised if she was actually doing more than 200 shots a day. And the trip was seemingly quite long so I'm sure she got lots of training done. Her development has been adapted so well so far :D Hak's "I'll lose reason" when he told her to stop saying she'd protect him was <3 Kija incoming :3 |

| I liked how Yona reacted to the peasants chattering. Hak sneaking up on Yona like that :O scared me a little. I like how Yona looked at Hak's weapon before finally deciding to take up arms herself. Liked how the arrow was wobbling in the air xD Her hands being like that from training and managing to scratch the baby boar. Practice shooting on Hak. Hak bringing up Su-won's name! Reallu enjoyed how Yona said that she dislike that side of him yet wants to protect him. Hak's response afterwards! Getting rid of all those mist in one full swing! Interested to see the white dragon. |

| Damn, they really want to make it longer for Kiija's (White Dragon;Claws) introduction. But those Anime Original scenes was good so I had no complains. Yona's determination was impressive. She really work hard know how to use that bow. So that she can also protect Hak and those she wanted to protect when the time comes. A Perfect Adaptation Pierrot! Can't wait for the next episode next week! |

| Niiiiice. I just love the transition of weak girl becoming strong girl. It's really inspiring, especially in that era where strong women were despised. Hell, even in our days, women are often laugh at when they try to achieve what was reserved to men before. A sad believe in our ages... Yona sure learned fucking fast. Damn, she's a goddamn genius, even if she doesn't look like it. I never did archery, but I'm pretty sure it's really hard, especially if you aim for precision, and she got quite skilled. I really loved the scene where she shoot that little guinea pig or whatever it was. It sure hurt when she said ''I needlessly injured it''. For some reason, I feel like she was talking about herself. In the end, Soo-Won, by taking the throne for ulterior motives that we still don't know, have hurt her even if it wasn't what he wanted. He needlessly injured her. The scene between the two was really cute. And poor dude, he just keep digging his own romance grave. But you know, with the shoujo magic, you can make anything happens! I'm really hyped to see those dragons, especially the shield dragon dude (I hope it's not a spoiler, I rewatched the episode 2 and he was there at the end with his shield). At that point, I guess Hak will be able to use his full potential since she'll have a new dedicated protector. |

| dammit! we finally get to meet one of the dragons. The white dragons. So all of that clan had white/blonde hair. Interesting. I'm glad they recognized their hair. Hak is too protective of Yona, like how bad is it to defend herself. If she wouldn't have done her best to defend her and him when they were about to kill him, he would be dead and her captured. And he still thinks he can defend her. Anyways I'm glad she got the bow. It's much cooler anyway :). Nice episode. can't wait for more! |

| My main gripe with this series is that the pacing is so slow. Things could be easily sped up without losing any of the content. Other than that, it's pretty much perfect. |

| Good episode. Very good. Yona's training has started. Lol that Hak. Trying to turn a kawaii princess into some killer. Lacking the will and strength to kill is so princess-like. Hak's still hung up on "gonna protect the princess" and all. Training Yona and making her capable of self-defense should at least make his job a bit easier. I guess this dragon man will readily accept Yona. The others might not. I'll be really mad if the other dragon men readily accept Yona like this guy. Yona should get over Soo-Won. That bastard doesn't deserve a kawaii girl. At the very least, Soo-Won will probably succeed in making the kingdom a better place. I mean, what the hell was King Il even thinking? He gave everyone a free hand and they ended up being corrupt faggots. Soo-Won was right, kindness isn't always good. No wonder Soo-Won was so pissed at Il. Looking forward to Yona using a sword. She's gonna get more badass soon. Gonna be super cool. |

| Hak teasing Yona after she was out of the bag was pretty funny! She should've just let him carry her though. :9 Nice seeing Yona getting serious about her training. Still a bit shaky, but she definitely has some high potential to be a badass. Hak almost lost his head there! Not surprised how easily Hak cleared away that mist with a single swing. I bet they all would've gotten owned if they went against him. Looks like the Dragon village people recognized Yona to be a special person. That saves the trouble of unnecessary fighting. Good episode. 1st Dragon warrior looks a bit like Art from Hamatora. XD |

Guess they're going to go with the new OP after all? Yona finally learning to use the bow, but that's as far as Hak is willing to teach her since he really keeps King Il's values in mind. But Yona realizes that she can't always be protected and wants to protect Hak too. I like how she struggles a little thinking about the meaning of taking a life, whether it's an animal or a human. Also, lol when Hak says "it stirs my desire." Finally going to meet the first dragon, hakuryuu~ And I forgot to mention, I liked the anime original scene at the beginning with Soo-won about them investigating the corruption within the palace...so we're finally getting hints at what else is behind Soo-won's decision for killing King Il. |
| I don't get their problem with whether Yona is able to kill someone. So instead of defending herself and holding someone off until he either gives up or Hak gets to take him out, she should be totally helpless? It's not like she has to charge the enemy just because she knows how to handle a weapon, but unless Hak can somehow guarantee that not only no enemy will ever attack Yona, including archers, but that he also is able to protect himself while he has to look out for Yona. Just like they ended up falling down that cliff and meeting the priest and Yun in the first place because Hak was not able to protect them, even with Yona hiding, and Yona wasn't able to make a real difference when she came out because she couldn't handle a sword. Hak is also wrong about "disobeying his king". If he didn't teach her, he disobeyed orders from his rightful ruler - Yona. The king is dead, long live the queen. She didn't exactly order him, but only because she prefers to see him as a friend instead of a servant or tool. If he'd refused, she *would* order him. |
| In my opinion, the episodes seemed to move by slowly. I felt like it took them a while till they finally set off. Otherwise, enjoyed the light humor and the little bit of action in this episode. |

It hurts that she's so oblivious to Hak's feelings, but it definitely makes it interesting to watch. So, is this going to end up being a reverse harem? | So Yona starts learning how to use a bow, but I hate how she's killing animals :( but the worst was when she almost killed the baby boar. That boar is suffering now ;_; guess that's why I'm a vegetarian xD Also, of all books to ban, Yona's dad chooses a fairy tale? Lol |

| The training was pretty fun to watch. I'm still not really into Yona, but at least she's not annoying anymore. I wish Hak wouldn't say things about Yona building his desire/ making him lose his control though, it sounds really rapey. The first dragon looks way too much like Art from Hamatora. It's giving me horrifying war flashbacks to that trainwreck of a second season that I don't need. |
| Can't wait to meet the first dragon, he looks cute. Yona seems like a fast learner, I find her improvement is astonishing. Hak is amazing as always :D |

| Pretty decent episode. Training Yona archery for self defense seems a little low for her sake. The road to the White Dragon continues and they found the guardians. Let's just see what happens when the two meet. |
