| Tell me, please, that others have seen this weird as hell, but awesome, OVA. I cant really explain it, and if you saw a pic of it you might be put off by the art...but this thing is so hilarious and graphic and violent. a really great mixture. XD Watch and enjoy! ^_^ |

| I just watched it. I wasn't all that impressed by the artistic style until I actually watched it for a few minutes - it isn't that great until you see it animated. Anyway, the entire thing was definitely quirky and ridiculous... I loved it. It reminds me a bit of FLCL, but more strange, and with less music and more violence. |

| I just saw it on scifi. Boy was that show crazy as hell. I didn't like it that much but it was a good hour long laugh. If you want a fast past crazy show then this is perfect for killing time. |

| I absolutely loved this... just finished watching it half an hour ago. Love the art, the characters, the action... might as well just say everything. =P For some reason, some of the characters reminded me of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (just looking at 666 makes me think of Thymilph, the first Beastmen General), and the over-the-top action, awesome characters and unexplainable situations make them quite similar. That aside... loved it. |

| Dead Leaves definately makes my top 10 list. It's so over the top, with action violence and comedy that you can't look away. For those of you who don't like it, you probably don't like FLCL or Magical Shoping Arcade either. If it's not yoru style than too bad, but if you actually have GOOD taste you'll love it. |

| Good stuff indeed; Definitely a step up above everything else when it comes to style over substance. Where with Dead Leaves though it's jam-packed with so much reckless style and gorgeous animation that's it's near exploding, but has absolutely no substance beyond what little plot and cast there is. But in this case I wouldn't have it any other way. 50 minutes of action packed mayhem, insanity, and senseless violence & gore ... and I was glued to the screen loving every minute of it. And Drill-Penis guy was brilliant. |
| This what Production IG is capable of when it is unleashed. Basically, it's just the director of Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann doing some of the most entertaining 50 minutes of my life. It's nothing but pure enjoyment, non-stop action, violence, boobs, sexual references, blood, gore and comedy. I think the most funny moment I've experienced in animes was when the jail man said to Retro : "OK, dude. Time to shit." Pure awesomeness. If you know how to enjoy it, that is. |

| just recently saw this, and im so happy i did. this was one of those anime i wanted to watch a long time ago but forgot about. it was way more entertianing then i thought it would be. i loved how the animation style, mixed with the non-stop action, and the soundtrack made it feel almost like a 50 minute music video. |

| Did not like it. This was too much of an acid trip of a show for me. It also made me sick to my stomach. Not from the violence - that doesn't bother me. There was just something innately wrong about the OAV that made me lose my faith in humanity. I love creativity in an anime, but this was too much. |

| I loved this movie, it was everything I look for in an animuu. Comedy, amazing art style, amazing character designs, and of course, good fight scenes. This is like, cartoony yet so amazing at the same time. I just love it. It doesn't even have to make sense, it's like FLCL, it's just enjoyable to watch. C: gun babies btw |

| Finally got around to watching it. Honestly, why can't more anime be like this? It was nothing fancy; just cool animation, great action, a break-neck pace, and some humor. The result is an excellent little OVA. |

| Well I wanted something crazy and insane and I get it! The trippy show without normal plot. The animation, colors are amazing. Music suits great to this anime but to be honest can be better. You know I love Ike Yoshihiro (composer) so I know that he could make something more crazy.But he make for it good simple music. YEAH! You know? this anime is good,crazy and simple like this music. Don't look for something ambitious! The only thing that is ambitious in this anime is that it breaks stereotypes! |
