What a surprising episode of Shirokuma Cafe

As shocking as it was to Panda and us, Full Time Panda got transferred to Singapore and Panda takes it real hard. When he was crying in the middle of the street, I couldn't help but sympathize for him.

Panda starts working seven days a week part time until they fill in and it was heartbreaking to see how much of an emotional toll it was doing to Panda. Not actually working full time but how he's lonely without Full-Time. When Penguin stood up to the couple trash talking Panda, I really liked the camera angle of always looking up from Penguin's point of view. Added to the atmosphere of the situation. The zoo eventually finds another full time Panda and Panda-kun keeps in contact with old Full-Time Panda.

The thing that really got me though was they capped this episode with my personal favorite ending "Zooto Ne" Full-Time's ending... damn it Shirokuma Cafe /grabs tissue

Darn... after laughing through 43 episodes of this amazing series this ep just appeared out of nowhere (during VALENTINE'S DAY!?) and punched me in the guts. It really got me thinking about all my loved ones who won't be there with me all the time (Mr. Full-time Panda) and also of my true friends who I hope will stay and put up with me for as long as I live (Mr. Penguin). Dammit I even shed a tear. Really going to miss this show!

Whoa... they played this episode perfectly because I couldn't help choking up when Panda started crying in the street. Most surprising episode of the series.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to cry while watching Shirokuma Cafe today. Panda is never allowed to cry again. Also, the part with Penguin and the umbrella... my feelings...

This episode had really gotten to me today ;^;
When panda-kun started crying I couldn't help but cry as well ;^;

Plus, I had finished Toradora today and I was already all emotional and such, thought of laughing a bit...
Full-Time Panda, Why? TT^TT

The plot wasn't extremely sad but I've gotten so attached to the characters and seeing them being silly and happy that this was depressing to watch. I even got a little teary eyed when Panda-kun started crying. ;-;

This episode was a nice change of pace. These episodes are only as effective as you are attached to the characters, and the show's cast has definitely grew on me over the episodes.

My god Shirokuma Cafe, way to break my heart on Valentine's Day.

That really was amazing; after so long, it'd be hard not to get attached to the characters and an episode like this worked incredibly now. I loved that it was able to make me feel so much without going overboard with tragedy etc. Really heartwarming.

Man, last week's puns had me in hysterics; this week had me in tears. Panda in the street, Penguin's scene, the ED theme. . . ahhh.

Despite being constantly mocked, ignored, and put down by Panda, Penguin still stood up for him. A friend is a friend at all times, indeed.

3/4 through the episode I thought a dramatic change would take place: Panda would take on the responsibility of full-time panda and perhaps Temp Panda would return and they would be the new panda team.

I was surprised Rin Rin didn't go check up on Panda but I'm sure his appearance would have taken away the emotional impact this episode had.
A good author leaves the audience enough material to be satisfied with, yet yearning for more.

I think I love Shirokuma Cafe even more after this episode. Didn't think it was possible.

At first I even thought something worse had happened and Handa-san just didn't want to tell Panda-kun the truth. I was relieved when they showed the post-card. Still sad though, both Panda-kun's reaction (it's not often when you see him show emotions other than apathy or boredom) and that joukin-Panda is gone. I liked him and Konishi-san gave him an amazing voice.

My eyes had watered when Panda-kun started crying and stayed like that throughout the rest of the episode. The ending theme finally gave that push to start crying.

What makes me more sad though is that (if it's true that it's gonna be 50 episodes only) the show is approaching its end. I don't want to say goodbye to this...

I just want to say that Shirokuma Cafe's almost been in my life for a year, I always looked forward for the new episode every week. It's been like a part of me, it always cheered me up whatever the mood I was in. I love every character in every other way. Seeing Joukin Panda going away really made me sad, I couldn't stop crying whole episode (I've heard the episode was really touching before watching it but it was more than that)
Kudos to Jun, for voicing Panda in that scene so emotional... All dem feels have reached to me, thank you. ; ___; I'm not even mentioning the Penguin's scene

Fulltime Panda's letter was really sweet. I love that he was possibly one of the only things that made Panda okay with doing any amount of work. I wasn't expecting something that would make my cry either. But it was beautifully done. The way to lead to penguin being so wonderful, I was smiling when I cried there.

Oh dang, I wasn't expecting such a heavy episode full of feels :( Out of all the supporting characters I'd say that Full-time Panda is one of my favourites, it was so sad how he left and especially Panda's reaction too! T_T However I'm glad that Penguin stood up for him: "I'm his best friend!" What a guy. I'm glad that Full-time is keeping in touch by sending postcards at least! :') Not to mention we get to hear his ED as well ... absolutely amazing episode this time!
