Greets, I'm Yumeko. I've been watching anime since I first saw DiC's butchered version of my beloved Sailormoon on Cartoon Network. I went online to find out more about the show, discovered the original Japanese version, and I've been addicted to undubbed anime ever since. ;>

I enjoy a variety of genres and will watch basically any series as long as it has good reviews. I never drop shows. I don't read a lot of manga, as I prefer the added suspense and excitement associated with watching a series in animated form, not knowing what will happen next. My favorite character in a show tends to end up being male, and is often the tsundere (Takuto, Shaoran, Inuyasha, etc.) or the clueless sweetheart (Italy, Luffy, Shiro, etc.).

My ratings typically correspond as follows:

10 - Masterpiece. Essentially flawless. (I give out very few 10's.)
9 - Great. Absolutely loved it.
8 - Good. Liked it a lot.
7 - Fair. Had its flaws, but was overall entertaining.
6 - Substandard. Finishing it was a bit of a chore.
5 - Bad. Not enjoyable.
< - Terrible. Varying degrees of awful.

My ratings are skewed toward the high end of the scale, but they still form a decent enough bell curve, so oh well. Having a mean score of 5-6 would mean that I watch series across a variety of quality levels, which I definitely don't do. I screen series fairly carefully before deciding to pick them up, so I don't think I've ever really watched anything that I felt deserved a lower rating anyway. There have always been redeeming factors (animation quality, voice acting, music, etc.), no matter the show.
