| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Holy shit! That 3rd generation IS is insane! It shot out some lines that held down Cecilia and Rin. They were helpless but Ichika went GAR again for them. Looks like the fight is promising. Now that I think about it Laura is a nasty Sadomasochist girl. She is scary not only because her IS is insane but because she will hurt you and even kill you if she wanted to. I am really not happy about the battle outcome. Cecilia and Rin are out of the pair tournament. That’s really too bad cause they are really behind the harem lead Charlotte, which got a huge upper hand due to what happened in Ichika’s room. What was nice about it though is the following,  I found it nice in Amagami SS when Haruka did that to Junichi and I find this one also like that. Charlotte hopefully did not have a hard time to carry Ichika back to his bed. About Laura Bodewig, if there is one thing to say about her is that she is crazy enough in the head to kill you in a fight. That hand of her IS is very dangerous itself as it can act as a AIC (Active Inertia Canceler), which cancels out beams even as nasty as those of Rin. Her IS can also shoot out those hooks with lines that once they tangle around Rin’s IS it does not look like Rin herself could much about them, although I do wonder if you can cut them with Ichika’s IS sword. Furthermore the AIC can even block Cecilia’s funnels. It has on its side a cannon that from the looks does not need to fuse with Laura’s IS in last episode but it can be fired independently thus Laura used it counter during her fight Cecilia’s blast. Resulting in a huge explosion. It looks like Rin lost one her cannons as well. Here comes the nasty sadomasochist part, Laura instead of being cool and tangling the IS of both Cecilia and Rin she opts for the sadomasochist. That is tangle the heads of Rin and Cecilia, which at this point could rip them out and we have a gore fest with 2 girls dead. What’s worse about it is that she continued her show with Cecilia giving her nasty pain. Ah shit this was totally not fine at all. To make matters worse she smashed Cecilia IS by continuing to pummel it while Cecilia is still tangled making it easy to kill her off if she did anything. She also did a quite a number of damage of Rin’s IS. Add to that the following Sadomasochist face and you have one dangerous girl to date. Good thing that Ichika saved them both and Charles interfered but most of all Chifuyu came to the rescue. Still during Charles fight with Laura, her IS apparently has a beam blade kind of like Heavy Arms from Wing Gundam. In the end poor Cecilia and Rin :( they are injured in the infirmary. there IS are so damaged they cannot participate in the pair tournament. Damn Laura! Rest in spoiler |

| Charlotte is more or less the main staying power for me at present - Ah Charlotte .. And Ichika has a GAR moment .. astonishing .. though I mean I know how the fight will or should end novel wise (Laura vs Ichika) and such but .. still <3 Charlotte. Makes the sub par - par. @Sebastian33 Its not Hitler~Esque. Its the "Prussian" Military esque much older and has nothing to do with such a negative connotation |
| Can we remove Ichika from the story please? And can we have some semblance of plot and direction? Wasted potential. Seven episodes in and the only plot we have is... ... ... Anyone care to enlighten me, because I can't find the plot. I can come to enjoy plot-less animes like K-ON!, but they have to have great character interactions + some great comedic moments. This has none of these. Also, Ichika seems to randomly win against people who are far more skilled than he is. Explanation? Beacuse he's male? Because he's spineless? Give me a break... |

| I like Laura more and more...even if she is masobitch :D...and cruel too...but she has good IS....really strong and good combi....Charlotte is cute as always.... :D...but i dont get it...how was ichika able to put down her panties?!? :D...well i can imagine that but he must bee realy nimble :D...and fast :D:D:D....Laura+Houki vs Ichika and Charlotte....well that will be interesting :P |

| So since1st episode to the 6th it was an "I love Ichika" anime, now you can add Tsundere, and a little % of mechas. (Since then I was wondering why it was a mecha anime?) And if the 6 first episodes were "mecha", so please let's call pokemon a mecha anime, Team Rocket was pretty good with mecha! I'm hoping for more mecha's fight for the next... it was to boring before. |
| I really hope the older sister eventually pwns Laura. Seriously, she needs an ego check and needs to be brought down a crap load of pegs. I guess with women like her, I'd would love to see fear and pain on her face, just so she knows what she has been doing to other people, to get her to look at herself and make her know death. |
| Houki and Laura being paired up together was no surprise tho it will make a interesting couple to fight against. I feel Sorry for Cecilia and Fang that they have to sit out Laura doesn't really seem to care about her opponents. Which makes me wonder how she will treat Houki as her partner. Houki's background will also have major effect on the pair with Laura since Houki considers her to be making the same mistake she did. And i wonder how she will demonstrate to Laura what she is doing wrong. Ichika was hopeless again this episode his stupidity was amazing ones again in the infirmary not only did he not understand the feelings of Cecilia and Fang but also turned all those girls down. Tho i have to mention did he did manage to find a good reason to help out Charlotte. His stupidity was also demonstrated during combat when he got caught in Laura's A.I.C. after it was explained to him and he was still wondering why he could not move. Even tho Houki asked him if he understood and replying that watching was enough. Chifuyu's intervention in that mock battle was pretty impressive to stop a machine with such a risky move just makes me wonder how far she goes to help out her students and stop them from vandalism. I wonder what the monthly repair fee is for the school with all those individual fights. |

Ms. Nazi beating the shit out of the rest was somewhat entertaining seeing how the other half of this episode was only about who cares about Ichika more. When are we getting to the PEW PEWs! |

| Hm... this was a good episode, didn't expect that pairing of Laura and Houki. Then again... when I'm watching Animes like this... I mostly turn my brain off so I can keep my mind open to accept everything as it's thrown at me. Unlike when I'm reading through Umineko VN... where I have to think about every dialogue and every moment that just occurred, Sheesh (but that's why I love Umineko). Hm... thinking about the couples that could be possible in this Anime... I think I like Ichika and Dunoa's couple the best. The other ones are a little retarded. |

I know that this is a harem show but there's a limit to how ridiculous it can be: Let's change with our backs facing each other and never use the bathroom or even the freakin divider then I will jump on you so you won't shout! then I will "accidentally" remove your panties as if I'm grabbing air Also they were on a bed in a bit then teleported on the floor o_O evidence: Transformation scene is also ridiculous especially when Ichika transformed without changing into his fighting attire... where the heck is his uniform? Also the epic GAR response for an idiot: "What I've seen is more than enough for me to understand." then "What's this! I can't move my body" -facepalms- xDD Despite of being ridiculous, I'm still enjoying this show and Charlotte is in the lead!!! <33 |
| We saw Laura take Rin and Cecilia out but it still wasn't that great an episode. My "Are you serious?" moments: Laura choking those two Ichika's "What I've seen is more than enough for me to understand." Chifuyu holding that big sword against that IS Change with their backs turned Ichika somehow holding her panties |

| While I certainly sympathize with the frustration over Ichika's cluelessness, I wonder if the source material (the light novels) was as bad as it is here. Regardless, I'm still mostly enjoying myself with this show, though I do wish it were at least 24 eps and not 12, mainly because I doubt they'll be able to pull a satisfying end with only four eps to go. Second season, maybe? I kinda doubt it, but we'll see. I'm still primarily Houki x Ichika, but Charlotte x Ichika is my gradually-getting-closer second. On a semi-related note, I wonder what the statistics look like for which personalities win out in the end. Something like 62% tsundere, 18% childhood friend, 10% ojou-sama, and so on (made up those numbers for reference's sake). |

| I was definitely looking forward to Laura's character when she was first "introduced" in the op, but from what I've seen I'm more disappointed than anything. I don't really hate Cecilia or Rin, but I can still see how others would, either way it seemed like what Laura was doing stepped out of lines from what they're supposed to do in IS fights. And it definitely didn't seem realistic because looking at the strength of her weapons, she probably would've snapped their necks if she persisted with that. Eh, all the characters seem stereotypical, but I still find myself uncannily interested in the series. Charlotte is still pretty adorable in my mind and the preview for the next episode seems... Wow? I think that it's apparent that Ichika will end up with Houki or something, but with all the attention that the series has been giving Charlotte, I'd hope that he ends up with her. :U |

| What I expected: A mecha anime with great battle sequences against a typical villain vying for power and domination. Ichika gets to know each of his team/harem members and defeats said villain through the power of teamwork and friendship. School setting was to introduce characters and provide some calm down time at the beginning of the series. What I got: Charlotte being awesome. Clannad was harem done right, the rare gems of the genre. |

| It seems like the series is really favoring a IchikaxCharlotte pairing. Anyways funny that Houki and Laura are a pair even if it was pretty predictable. So much for Houki getting a date with Ichika lol. |
