I wouldn't say its better, probably about the same tbh. A lot more more people go and apparently Saturdays are insane, but I go on sundays usually.

Hmm, theres no particular game Im wanting to see. I want to play the Oculus Rift and Rainbow Six Seige. The line for the Oculus Rift last year was crazy so I skipped out on it.

I would play the souls games, I would probs work my way up from Demon souls to Dark Souls 2, soon to be 3.

MCM is very different now, its a lot bigger and it has more attendance now.

We could sort something out for EGX, I'm applying for jobs atm so I will need to contact u closer to the time, not too close as we want to get a good ticket. My friends may be going, but they don't play the games I want to play.

I was studying Computer Science.

I finished bloodborne. I played it over a friends house, was a very good game and very different as I haven't played a souls game before.

I hardly import anything anymore. I did go to the expo and pick up some manga and some sweets.

Are you still living at home? Or have you moved out? No new anime has caught my eye, so I can't recommend anything atm lol. I did enjoy the new nagato show however.

Are you talking about EGX? I went to the November one with 3 other guys. It was ok, I think i would like to go with someone who would like playing more indie games though :D as the lines for AAA games were huge. I suppose we could go, but I have no idea what I will be doing in September.

Believe it or not, I will be graduating this summer. So I will have no idea if I will be busy working or not :p.

I enjoyed it. It was interesting to see Shinji reacting to the 3rd impact being a result of his actions. I also liked that Kowaru had much more impactful relationship in this film vs the TV canon. Having him play piano with Shinji was a clever way to put those two on the same level. However, Rei's character in this one, I have mixed feelings about. It's like we were put back to square one from the start of the movies. However, what this movie did differently than any other anime interpretation, this movie did explore her own mortality. Whereas she was unconcerned with death and her other clones, this new Rei was aghast when she saw the old Rei and how she was acting. This was the first time that she had been shocked at a clone's actions and that was a nice touch to her small character arc in the movie.
As far as whether the characters behaved in their own way, I disagree. Shinji being unable to understand this new Rei caused him to regress which is where Kowaru picked up the pieces and be Shinji's new therapist/confidante. Asuka and Misato serve as the fingerpointers that place all their negativity toward Shinji who caused the 3rd impact to happen. Their behavior and reasons are not unjustified. On the other hand, it was Sakura (Touji's sister) whose actions are unbelievable. No anger, no resentment for bringing about the 3rd impact and the death of her family and brother? That even by anime standards is a little hard to believe. Not as good as 2.22, but I'm glad I saw it. We still need to see how 4.44 turns out to properly evaluate this tetralogy.
