| Same here, i'm wondering about what she said about Lag not being human... does it have anything to do with him being an Albissian?? It's been mentioned quite a few times before and I don't think its just as simple as it refering only to his looks. |

Here I was thinking the village wasn't so bad, only to find out they're greedy, fearful and totally okay with tossing babies into ravines like a sack of potatoes. Geez. | Well I was wrong about the woman being Niche's mom, but older sister isn't bad either. I too wonder what Niche's sister meant by Lag not being human. It might be because of the spirit amber in his eye or it might not. Either way, next week looks good since it seems it's going to be about what Niche's sister has been doing for the past 200 years. |

| I got the impression that this was one of those "the town never really changes" kind of things and the mayor today is just a descendant of the mayor 200 years ago, not actually the same person, but I could be wrong. I think this episode was a turning point, at least for me, in terms of quality. Up until now everything's been really choppy and thrown at me way too quickly and there are a lot of unnecessary aspects that don't make much sense. Some of the dialogue, especially in the humorous scenes, is just painfully boring. Also how exactly does Sylvette's wheel chair work? That threw me off. But this ep really started to turn things around for me, probably because we are finally getting some serious character development. I sincerely hope this series starts to get better because I was really frustrated up until here. This episode though is definitely moving the plot forward and is setting us up for some seriously complex character relationships which I am excited for. Plus Niche is just effing adorable, though I absolutely despise Steak. Seriously, what is it? It's hideous. It should just be a hamster or a mouse or something, not that ugly mustachioed abomination with a deformed mouth. Anyway yeah up until now I hadn't been excited for this series but now I'm looking forward to the next episode. |

I mean if the Maka is like a god to them, then wouldn't they also see the children of Maka as a god too? Or something like that? Hmmm...
