Really? I thought the zombie episode was very lacking in many ways. Second episode had me yawning, the objection part was nice and the banana part was fun, with Gainax agreeing that it indeed looks like a banana, but for the rest, extremely meh.

It's probably just not my thing.

Forums issues to the extreme…Had to wait 20 minutes to be able to post here AND it made me create duplicate thread Anyways:
Not a bad episode. I have to say they went overboard with the engrish swearing in the first segment as they beat the cat with those dildos. Wow, never thought I would type that in my lifetime.

Tom Cruise reference… Just makes me wonder how many Japanese references I have missed over the thousands of episodes.
(Fine 6/10)
Didn’t really pass the threshold to be awesome. i feel like i either hate an episode or love it. This is one of those rare in between ones.

I laughed at the thinly disguised versions of Ren and Stimpy, but otherwise this episode was painfully unfunny.

Episode 7 was a bit better, but I thought this was one was still hilarious. Gotta love how the two ghost in part 2 looked exactly like Ren and Stimpy.

LOL @ Phoenix Wright's monkey version.
I liked the episode, I think it was way funnier than ep. 7.

A Part:
-Nice one. "Romero and Carpen Town"
-Whoa, lots of f-bombs being dropped today
-Okay, why are they playing something that sounds suspiciously like it belongs in Legend of Zelda?
-Sex toy shop :D :D
-YEEEEEEEEEEEAHH DEMON SISTERS!
-Father****er is probably the best Engrish word ever.
-Stocking killing the cat all Bruce Lee style :D
-"Who are you?"
"The hell?! I've been here the whole time! Since scene 19! I even had lines!"
4th wall breaking is awesome.
-Okay well that was....one way to end an episode. Depressingly that is.

B Part:
-Oh, well we have been in a shortage of Gainax bounce lately
-Tom Croose?
-Wow, a monkey. This episode's kinda crazy. It's like Gainax replaced all the grossout comedy for balls-to-the-walls lunacy comedy
-Oh, I've heard the guy who does the voice of the judge in other stuff!
-Oh wonderful striptease Art Shift. I'm so glad they're using that more.
-This could be a lot tighter :D
-Everytime the monkey thinks Panty's hair is a banana I die laughing
-Okay, Stocking is definitely into that.
-Ooooooh, it was the Demon Sisters the whole time! Well, I honestly didn't see that coming.
-OBJECTION! Whoa, the monkey looks kinda like....Samuel L. Jackson honestly...
-"Can they show this on TV?"
WHO CARES!? DO A "FLY AWAY NOW!"
-So were the ghosts supposed to look like Ren and Stimpy? Cause they were dead-ringers for them.

Oh man, I was dying in the second half. Especially when the monkey went all badass lawyer. First half was not as funny, but in terms of being referential and a love letter to zombie movies, it did that part well. Lots of American franchise references in this one and even more Engrish than usual.

Gainax really has been toning down the grossout humor but that really doesn't seem to change how they've been doing the show at all.

Shout outs were... nice, but that wasn't the best episode. The non-resolved zombie part also felt like a cop-out. Really meh. Enjoyed the second part much more -- so Ren and Stimpy are married now? -- but compared to the two previous episodes it was no really that much fun, I'm afraid.

There IS some weird satisfaction in seeing people battling zombies with sex toys and apparently Garterbelt IS badass, but that was really it.

So... now that they've added GIR, Transformers, Tom Cruise, and Ren and Stimpy, can all those animu fans running about the community spouting "THIS IS NOT A SPOOF, SATIRE OR PARODY OF WESTERN CARTOONS" kindly STFU?

Well, I don't think it's supposed to be making fun of Western cartoons. I think it's more like homaging them. Satirizing them is probably a better way of putting it I'd agree.

Though, I was sure by the first episode it was obvious Western cartoons were clearly an important part of this show production-wise.

Well, garfield15, you seem like an observant person, regardless of whether you're a fan of the show or not, than aforementioned desperate anime fans that don't enjoy the idea of awful, tainted Western styled cartoons entering their all-sacred, all-sophisticated Eastern cartoons. That statement in my previous post was directed towards the latter, and not you.

If it wasn't the drawing style, or line art style, that proved PandS was a homage to Western cartoons, then Chuck kinda sealed it.
And I'm talking before the show even aired...

All that sarcasm aside, I liked this episode. I liked the show but I've enjoyed it more since Kneesocks and Scanty's introduction.

First part-
~pretty boring to be honest
~Cussing in English especially the F-Word
~Interesting zombie design. I thought of Jello watching them walk. ^w^
~WTF! They ate Garterbelt!?!?! Nothing like a nice healthy breakfast of pedophile in the morning...
~What was wrong with that cat? That was super gross.

Second part-
~Still boring but improvement over first half.
~Monkey saved the episode.
~Heck ya! Work that pole, Panty!
~If Scanty & Kneesocks were not red & were actual flesh colored, they would be the hottest on this show.
~Tom Croose? I was so ready for him to jump on a couch sceaming "I love Panty!" or something like that.

Overall 3/5 this week...completely weak...besides monkey. X3

Why do I get the feeling thats a direct jab at me and my review? Its still not a satire, spoof, or parody. Its a homage. Thats isn't an insult to the show, its a fact. That doesn't make the show bad or unfunny. Its still not a parody or satire.

Overall, this episode was just okay. Its not particularly strong as a biepisode and it doesn't hold a candle to Les Diaboliques in terms of action or entertainment.

I was disappointed with this episode. 8a wasn't nearly as funny as I'd hoped it'd be when it first started and I saw it was a zombie-themed episode, and 8b was just dumb.

Holy Crap the show just keeps getting better and better!

Both episodes 14 and 15 were AMAZING! I LOVED THEM!

14 had lots of dildos haha, they were even wearing sexy police uniforms XD

15 was also awesome, you got Tom Croose XD and you got more of Stocking wanting some bondage... Haha Pheonix Wright!!! THE MONKEY RIPPED HER HAIR BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE BANANAS HAHAHAHA!!!!! XD

And then you have the short ending sequence song which is very lovely.

Stocking is the only reason why I am still watching this show; she is too cute. The only time I laughed was the first half when Stocking started making ninja noises after stabbing the zombie cat in the face.
