Yeah, nice to see everyone we've met up til now one last time. Also nice to get to see the twins in some cute little coats as well.

Didn't expect for us to be fighting a kraken, sorry a 'little' kraken this episode though lol. Wasn't even a challenge though. Was more of a challenge for the twins to either go with Takumi, or stay with the kids.

Thankfully they went with Takumi in the end, god they're so precious (>﹏<)(>﹏<)

Cute twins/10

That "Little" Kraken got nuked pretty badly, lol.

Satisfying finale, but I was waiting more for some information about Alan and Elena's father. They left the whole thing open, but oh well.

Also, I think the main characters were a little too OP, which made the fights mostly boring.

Anyway, this was an entertaining show, and definitely the cutest one of the season besides Ramen Akaneko. I liked the fact how much this reminded me of Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi.

A second season would be nice.

Yelp, the stuff from the sunken ship is not all eligible for kids, and Takumi is doing a good job keeping both Alan and Elena in check. No matter is it the Azure Village or the Sazanami Labyrinth, the twins are having fun amidst the trouble with fearsome monsters, unintentionally setting off traps, and the contracted beasts like Vector doing their part. And at long last, the group reaching the floor boss of the kraken...or rather, a "Little" Kraken to deal with it, everyone's efforts definitely went overkill.

The trip back to Bailey, plus Issac and Vault joining to retrieve Takumi back to meet the king of Gaudia for his efforts of finding out the Sazanami Labyrinth, it'd be just too soon to leave Theodore and Latis being sad that he and the twins have to leave in a hurry. With the bubbles from the Bubble Archelon that doesn't explode after putting it in his Inventory, the kids all have their share of fun before the eventual departure, and as for the adults, Takumi and the twins being a family is just that precious. But since they didn't want to leave Bailey, asking Cedric to take care of the twins is a given, and more than the beasts feeling bad, both Alan and Elena wanting to join is just natural to follow their father figure back to the capital.

Overall, a decent, but heartwarming show...precious, even.

Well I’d be lying if I said I’d miss this one. Idk just never really clicked with me. The twins were cute but not cute enough to carry the show. Really felt like a slog to get thru at points.

I like the lightheart nature of this anime. Though I'm a little bit dissatisfied that the gay plot (that involve captain Vault) doesn't resolved in a way that I want.

This was a very sweet and wholesome finale.
Poor little Kracken didn't stand a chance against Takumi and his family.

As a big Isekai fan, I really enjoyed this series; especially since I needed something light hearted to balance out Failure Frame this season.

I'm a dub watcher, so watching it in English had another joke for me; Matt Shipman, who does the MC, I primarily know for his work on Dr Stone so it was really weird to hear "Chrome" say some lines here and there (in a funny way, to be clear)

Now, onto my reactions for the episode (apologies for sounding like I'm rambling; I'm writing this post as I watch it)

Not going to lie... seeing him talk about how dangerous the bubbles were only to just in the next moment inventory them away... I don't know, doesn't that feel a bit too Deus Ex Machina to anyone? You hype them up as dangerous only to give them a pretty simple resolution

The kids accidentally triggering the trap only for Takumi to forgive them pretty quick- actually, pretty funny moment

...of course the lion would get himself stuck like that; well, can't blame him for being excited

If that's Takumi's reaction to a little Kraken... agreed, don't want to see a giant Kraken. I feel like there's a joke in here somewhere along the lines of "Are you kidding me? This show is way too lighthearted for a monster with tentacles!" but I'm going to leave it alone

Fun fact- simple way to stop a monster that can regenerate: After cutting off the appendage in question, just use fire to cauterize the wound and it won't grow back. That's how Hercules defeated the Hydra in Greek myth. But this way works too

Huh, odd- usually the whole "meeting the monarch" part of the story falls in the episode 8-10 range of the season; saving that for the last half of the last episode, that's different. On the bright side at least the king has enough sense to respect Takumi's desire to remain low-key

Is it just me... or did Takumi basically just invent a form of Volleyball in this world?

"With them who cares about something as trivial as blood?" Glad that the red haired guy made such an important point there; Takumi, Alan and Elena really have become a family over the season

Wow, that ending was, I think the saying is "right in the feels" (sorry, I don't do slang). For as much as Alan and Elena wanted to day in the end they still chose Takumi... and what a way for the contracted Beasts to show themselves to the other characters.

Honestly, the season ended the way it needed to end- with the gang still together. This was a great series, and since there was no title card at the end that said "The end" or "thanks for watching" it gives me hope that a season 2 is a possibility. Would love to see what comes next for them.

Till then; that wraps up this show for the Summer 2024 season, onto the next one

@Trivia-man-Frank tbf every battle in this anime is a Deus Ex Machina (his whole appraisal and inventory is). They made them all OP. But it's okay since the battles aren't really the highlight, just adventuring and kicking monsters for loots.

Kind of a nothingburger finale if I’m being honest. Not only did we not see the meeting with the king, but no further development of the twins’ father was put forth. Instead we got extra threads, like back to the underwater labyrinth to be rewarded a mystery sword (lose plot #1), a the silver framed painting (lose plot #2) that someone wanted returned, etc.

It looks like the manga is currently at volume 7 (US) with the gang leaving Bailey to go see the king, so basically right where the anime ends plot wise . I guess the light novels are in the teens, but if they do greenlight a season 2 I’m thinking it might be a while?

This was a nice, warm, colorful and happy show, nothing especial but it was so comfy and the twins were way too cute, they also got me all emotional when Takumi started to cry when they said they were like a real family.

It is a shame we didn't get to see their biological dad and that the vampire girl got barely any screen time.

Very wholesome and comforting show. I am happy with how it ended. Season 2 is not really needed, since anime is caught up with the manga, but I won't be mad if it gets greenlit.

New adventure awaits Taku & gang. Good thing Taku wasn't a pushover when the kids said they wanted to stay. He did a reverse psychology on 'em, which worked even though it shocked everyone who knows how much he loves those kids lol

Finally finished!

For a "isekai" series, having the two kids make this a cute series for all ages, but at the same time, my expectations for it plummeted each episode it aired, as it becomes more mediocre and a chore to watch.

While the series has its ups and downs, it's mostly a negative imo and some of it is fun and entertaining, but it's probably more recommended for children's age.

Unfortunately, but I'll be downgrading my score from 7 to 5 or 4.

The only sorry excuse of a character in this series would be the "god-characters" and their "associates" as being an unreasonable, irresponsible, and having an obnoxious personality. The only main evil and blasphemous thing about this series.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I never thought I would watch something like a childcare isekai, or even finish it, but here I am.

It's a decent watch, heartwarming even. Allen and Elena are just adorable, and Takumi isn't that bad of an MC.

Very fluffy and satisfying show (^^)

Alan and Elena are both cute and adorable throughout the season.

Plus Takumi's dish and baking skills were great.

They also has wonderful summons who were great companions for them.

Overall, a great show with chill vibes...
I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

If you stay forever, let me hold your hand
I can fill those places in your heart no else can
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah
I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim

EP 12

Its ep 12

So yeah thats it ep 12

Ep 12 is ok i guess
The anime as a whole
I think in the second half towards the end they kinda lost focus or so, the last few eps have been a bit iffy
The twins really, and the pacing.

As i said in an earlier topic before, if this ever gets a second season we need a love interest for Taku or i'll be bored to tears. Just a permanent adult woman companion would work as well.
Adorable kids, fluffy pets and food only keep me interested for so lohg.

Also, higher stakes at times would be great.
No, not a demon lord or killing a god. Just an enemy that takes some skill to beat with an appropriate reward afterwards.

Anyway, epitome of a 6/10. Would watch a sec season if they spice things up as mentioned above.

Quite cute and wholesome series that is quite easy to watch. Nothing fancy pansy firework shit going on in here.
The summoned beasts were kind of cute as well.

The manga is really good. One of my favorites....but the anime...a little below average.
The animation and sound were horrible. Especially the ending song. It made me want to
throw a chair or flip a table every time so I did my best to skip it each time. And that
'wind cutter!'.....why in the heck was it soooo......gaudy? My eyebrows scrunched
whenever the MC did that. This series only gave me a headache at the end.
