| AbemaTV streamed this today. I went into this with low expectations honestly. I've read the manga before and it was mediocre but hey, at least the anime introduced the most main cast so far including Curran and Tiana. Tiana probably stood out for me the most but most of the character emotions felt kinda forced. Episode had some of the classic fantasy tropes in this with different RPG class characters. Definitely keeping expectations low for now unless the story improves. |

But as they say: the 3rd time's the charm...or is it a fluke? Nick the Swashbuckler, who got betrayed and lost both his party and his girlfriend, ultimately turning into an idol otaku instead. What a turnaround of a buzz-kill life that his party doesn't think of him as a valuable member. No words, just being kicked out just like that, only to get comforted by the idol Agate and ripped into his life full of merchandise. Going to find new members in a state where he can't trust anyone anymore, his recluse comes in the form of 3 other members: - Tiana Erenafelt, who was once a proud mage from her rich family and heritage, only to be falsely accused by her fiancée of being self-servient, only t be dumped just like Alex. Tiana getting herself into gambling and ultimately into heavy debt. - Zem, who was once a priest cleric taking care of his people, and like Tiana, falsely accused into dating young girls to get the flak from the people around him. - The dragonian Curran who's had something stolen from her by the oersin that she cared the most. Humanity can't be trusted, so these 4 misfits are onto their own adventure together...as a party? That's the only logical solution. Despite Geek Toys & Hentai studio Seven's production cooperation together, this looks clean as heck. I'm legit surprised. Of the assimilated sub-genre, I'm actually anticipating this the most. Hope this will be a fantasy worth the time. |

| Well, this was what you'd expect pretty much xD Another one of those fast made fantasy (that for the love of God you can't distinguish from isekai anymore, or is it the other way around ?) LN adaptations you see all the time. Vain and without a point. But hey! There is an idol girl, becasue thats for sure what fantasy genre was missing all those years, lmao. + some more introductions of the main party of misfits and their ... well, not the best life decisions lets just say. Also the priest got #MeTooed, lmao. And i must say, that's quite the 21st century metropolitan Los Angeles fantasy world we have here, aint we ... .. . One can truly only assume the reasons behind it ... .. . |

| Priest had it the funniest honestly, like man got deranged by a 10 year old of any thing lmao. Though again not like the others were much behind him in this sense. They did try to exert as much as drama they could but it felt anything but serious. Not a bad start, at the very least can go along with this for a few episodes. |

| what if Shield Hero episode 1 x4 Finding out about what every party member went through and having different stories provided enough variety to keep me engaged. So the episode was at least not boring and the premise is kinda fresh. |

| It was a bit of a hectic start with a lot of camera changes, at one point I was looking up, then to the side, then back to normal. For me, it would be a better choice to start by explaining each character's backstory after showing them talking, but they cut to the stories before that. I still can't get used to Karan's (Curran) voice, it really wasn't the way I imagined it. But that doesn't take away the fact that she is my favorite character in this work. The story really isn't that big, but it's nice to watch, so I recommend it. |

| Holly shit, LN and anime writing really sunk to the level of teenager's fanfictions. Every single scene and bit of dialogue was showing how someone came up with a premise but was completely unable to follow it up in any way. This is something you would hesitate to submit as writing exercise in middle school. Without even dipping your toe in this murky puddle of a writing - main characters are supposed to be recently betrayed and refuse to trust anyone, so they team up with strangers after getting drunk. |

| This is fun, I'll embrace and expect I'll stick with it weekly. So what if it's super-tropey? Watching felt like slipping into a new pair of old comfy shoes, maybe with new fancy laces. I can't help but love the downtrodden, rag-tag group of folks at the end of their ropes, and I'll root for each of them. Tiana's gambling, Nick's otaku obsession, Zem's lust, and I don't know what to make of the dragon-lady Curran. All have their weaknesses laid bare in 23 minutes, all betrayed by people they loved and trusted, all waking up together on the dirty floor of a strange room with a wagging, dreaming dragon-tail shuffling empty bottles back and forth. I'm here for it and look forward to the good things to come. |
| Idk why they skipped the dragonoid story. besides that, i thought it was a W for the MC and for the priest, i mean, MC went from adventuring where he risk his life and having a gf which would dumb him like that to being a idol weeb. And the priest... from being a priest to whatever he did afterwards.... crazy kid though, dam. and they showed them as something bad. it sucks for the mage girl, her family kicked her out for a single lie or something. and then "one day they will save the world" well.... thanks for spoiling the ending |

| Wasn't actually going to watch it, don't know why I changed my mind. Not a fan of the character designs, story seems very average. Tiana is my favourite chr so far. Episode was ok, I have very low expectations, let's see how it continues. |
| first anime of the new season and im starting to like it already! I do feel bad for all 4 of them but damn the priest had it worst. Bro got accused with no evidence and they believed the little girl, Tiana is defo my fav so far tho. But anyways nice to see that there gonna form a party next episode. Seeya next week |

| The priest's backstory pissed me off the most. That little bitch who falsely accused the priest of rape needs to be brought to justice . Everyone believes e the accusation of a girl without investigating anything... Priest are pedos though so may be she wasn't technically lying The sad thing is that this also happens in reality. men are falsely accused of rape and end up with their lives ruined cause the justice system only believes women and every law is against men and favors women.. But women are bigger liars than men and when even if the are proven innocent, the damage is already done and they've already lost everything.. That's why I go with dominantrix... They can't accuse of rape shit, man was tied up and hang upside down.. |

| I dug this first episode a lot. I thought the art and animation was very good and refreshing. I don't really remember a show with such off putting colors since Highschool DxD season 4. I liked how they fleshed out Zem and Tiana's backstories and why they are pissed off at humanity. Meanwhile you know a little of Nick's backstory but not the full one and we know basically nothing about Curran other then someone took something precious from her. Generic? Yes but I am very intrigued how this anime will pan out. I also like how it's a modernized Fantasy anime. |
