| From the studio that brought you Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-kun, this is a rather unique show enough, but feels weird and niche all at the same time. For the accused that is Satake Hirofumi (VA-ed by Tomokazu Sugita) undergoing death row from a murder case of his own fiancée, having an appropriate "Last Meal" before awaiting execution. But in a twist of fate, Satake is given a second chance at life after surviving the death penalty with an insanely strong neck, just like some people who miraculously survived after being assumed that they were dead (but this is up to debate for fallacy). A serious fish allergy for Satake that could cause death, that's more life threatening then something like hanging. Satake supposedly outliving all diseases and trouble as the Undead Man, he's the perfect candidate for the Human Defect Research Centre a.k.a Human Bug University, and who knows what they'll do to him. ED is a bop for reals. But this is gonna take some time to get used to. |

| Oh weird it is for both the animation and the story, so this hardcore guy killed his wife and someone else, put everything on fire etc and survived the death penalty? It looks like this guy is immortal and survived almost all the diseases in the world, WTF is this xD |

| I like the simple animation style, although I'm not a fan of psychological stories as they just kinda freak me out from time to time and can be heavy-handed, but I'll stick around to see where this one goes on Wednesday mornings this Fall. |
| First episode was okay. Entertaining, but nothing impressive. Sugitan's voice acting was amazing as always and I love the op theme. Gonna continue this one for now. |
| Not being able to read the continuation, what a sad thought :S Very unique premise with an eccentric style to boot. Although, imo it could've been even better if it was a somber drama series that focussed on the remaining time of death row inmates. I still liked the first episode enough and all the cool fun facts. |

| Despite the cheap animation I enjoyed the interesting premise that if anything got me thinking. And they were some heavy thoughts worth exploring as we got views from the MC on death row and the guards who's duty it is to execute him. Super curious where this one is heading. |

Uff thats very high ๐คฃ i can understand the enjoyment of this show but 9/10 thats like mushoku tensei first Episode level I mean my enjoyment isn’t that far from the 1st episode of Mushoku, even if Mushoku has clear objective advantage when it comes to actual quality. |

| his is not that bad. Surprised the rating is so low even after release. Sure, the animation is not your typical anime animation. But it is still acceptable imo |

| Is DLE the most consistent studio in the anime business, for better or for worse? They never trail too far from their main design and even the animation, or lack thereof, is often the same. The subject matter of this episode was genuinely intriguing. I actually learned a thing or two from it. Good stuff. |

| I'm in for the subject and weird half animation, but the professor segment dragged on. That much tell over show with minimal animation gets stale fast. I want to like this, though, so I'll give it a few more. |
| I wouldn't mind the animation itself, but combined with the slight pacing problems the anime has, it became a bit dull by the end of the episode. The anime brought up many interesting questions just to choke them by endless infodump which was interesting at first, but the professor dragged on his speech for way too long. |

| Now that was fun and surprisingly non-dark despite the heavy themes. Kind of reminds me the Toys In The Attic episode from Cowboy Bebop (sans the visuals of course). Is the MC specifically written for Tomokazu Sugita? |
| I can't believe new Yo Mama lore just dropped and the entire anime community chose to sleep on this ๐๐๐๐ I don't have much else to chip in that hasn't already been said aside from the fact that I had no idea the web manga qualifier was also reserved for 10 minute YouTube shorts. The future of entertainment and television is finally dawning on us. In all sincerity, the psychological elements present during the first half of this episode were quite engaging, though it began to taper off a little with all the exposition during the second half. I'm definitely intrigued at where this could go, though I'm just not quite sure what direction it has yet. |

| It's a shame how many people are going to dismiss this for it's limited animation, especially as I watch this after suffering the first episodes of two uber-cliche harem series that had lovely animation but nothing else of substance. Well, that's anime fandom for you - pretty, fluidly animated waifus or bust. That said, the limited animation IS going to present this show with some challenges. It's simple enough to do the opening exposition of a high-concept show in this style, but if it's planning to get half as intense as the description seems to imply, the creative team is going to have to be very careful to make sure those moments can be taken seriously, since the style of this naturally leans into comedy more. I'm curious to see where it goes! |
