| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, I feel bad for Maria this episode. The other girls are literally bullying her but luckly, Katarina came to help to her. What a badass. I'm just glad Maria has friends that supports her. Katarina really came prepared to work with her glasses and outfit. She's really living the otome game style life. Maria also seems to have a very normal family. |

| Time for more Bakarina :) The girls have got quite close now. Looks like Katarina was afraid of Maria for nothing in the early going. She’s the one actively protecting her now. Sucks that people are bullying her out of pure jealousy for her magic, but that’s school/kids. Really sad how people even in her own hometown make up rumours and insult Maria for being talented. At least her mom’s been there for her and for the most part been encouraging Last bit got me pretty emotional. Katarina is the first real friend Maria’s ever had, and the first person outside of her mother to stand up for her, which explains why she latches onto her. Her mom’s joy was beautiful to see. Another really solid episode. Less comedy and more serious backstory/ characterisation for Maria this ep. Looking forward to seeing more of her development. Can’t wait for next week :) |

| This was such a sweet episode. I'm glad they animated Maria's PoV chapter as it's really good insight on her character. Despite getting confessed to by all of her female friends, Bakarina remains Bakarina. At least she's still the "King of Farmers". |
| And Bakarina continues to steal major events. We learned a lot about Maria and I feel sorry for her, being bullied just because she is talented. That ending, Katarina's mother is so scary. |

| The weekend is well underway, and there's nothing more sutiable than Bakarina's time to shine! The game's heroine and villainness Maria and Catarina building on good terms, and WHY is the side-character president SO prominent? Haha. The strategy meetings in Bakarina's brain are more essential now, and the mission to protect the bullied commoner-in-disguise is in session, taking over the protags' countless flags to avoid her doom! And while at it, build on the friendship harem and the farmer intiative, both taking off splendid as well. But Catarina and Brother Keith's visit to Maria's hometown brings as much rumours, and with it the tampered "fame" as a noble's "illegitimate child" due in part of magic, and with it, societal norms. Beginning to worry a lot for the heroine right now, from the family's devoid housing, iving conditions and family relations that threaten their livelihood. Thankfully, with Catarina's heavy involvement in Maria's life, the family beacon is shone once again. OH DAYUM, is Bakarina a lost case for her farmer work? Hope it doesn't affect her progress! Great episode as usual. |

| Good job Bakarina! You just blew up another event. Speaking of Maria, I felt bad for her, she had to deal with a lot since she was just a little girl, and still is object of bullying but now has someone who stands for her. Bakarina's mother looks scary, I wonder if she knows about the power of the chancla. |

| I think the translation for Maria's mother speech "Please continue to be a good friend to my daughter" isn't the best translation. What she says in japanese has a more "neutral" meaning like "please take care of my daughter". It's up to you to think what the author means by that. |
| Felt bad for Maria, she really had it hard. I'm glad she has Katarina as her friend now. Also that last scene where both Maria and her mom were looking at each other was sweet. |

| This episode was very lovely!! Maria had such a sad past but Katarina befriended her and she's smiling again. And I guess Katarina's gonna get some scolding from her mother XDXD. Overall a great episode! |

| bakarina is the bisexual icon i never knew we needed. no complaints tho. but ngl im kinda missing her and the boys interactions. dont get me wrong, i love her and maria, it's such a pure and nice friendship -"friendship"- but im lowkey missing the borderline flirting and bakarina being the dense that we love her for. this actually a good reverse harem so im craving that romance as well. |
| Maria though really is like an angel. Combined with her skill at making sweets its no wonder she's so popular at the academy. Still its too bad that the bullies are making life hard for her. Katarina's speech that she gave while defending Maria sure was a good one. Its nice to see Katarina work so hard to improve her own skills even if it meant going out into the world to do so. Its unfortunate that even among her hometown Maria is still the subject of rumours. Magic it seems is also a potent double edged sword though one that caused Maria much pain not to mention pain for her family as well. Katarina's visit to Maria's house sure had a profound impact both on Maria herself and her mother as well. I hope that the seeds that she had sown will be able to change both their fortunes. Overall an excellent ep that did well in expanding upon Maria's character via her past reveal while also planting the first seeds of her expansion as she opens her heart up to others. |

| Another wholesome episode, this time a flashback about Maria and why she is so reserved, Katarina better keeps her farmer hobby since it seems magic isn't really her strength, at least she gained some range on her magic. |

| OMG! That was................that was.............TOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!! This episode was so cute and wholesome its criminal. Im such a sucker for stuff like this where a character helps someone in a bad situation. YURI FTW!!! I love that part at the end with the mother XD. Katarina best girl!! |

| Lol catarina defies all logical choices, I think she forgets she is in a game sometimes. But for her she must have high luck for not making things worse for herself. Kinda like a blessing from the gods, ironic since she is supposed to be the villain. |

| I wonder what happened to her father. Well, another great episode. The OP is for me the best in this season, can't stop replaying it. Finally we are able to see Maria's past. Quite emotional since Katarina is her first friend since a very long time and that last part tho was so hilarious 😂 |

| Was wondering why Maria had such a gloomy expression when the others said she'd be looking forward to go home, so it turned out that it's because everyone in her hometown is spouting groundless rumors about her.. Must be pretty rough for both Maria and her mother. That scene when everyone said they liked Katarina though lmao that was gold. |

| Poor Maria.Her father left her mother because he started to believe those rumors of infidelity. Lol for Bakarina not realizing Maria is on Katarina route. Also damn it.They screwed up the translation of Maria mother's final words this ep. |

| Katarina's already a charming lady, but her casual outfit made her look cuter, especially the glasses that she was wearing. =3 Anyway, this episode was really good once again. Katarina went to defend Maria for the second time against the cowardly noble bullies that looked down on her because she's a commoner. After helping her out again, both girls had a good chat with each other. So far, I've really enjoyed seeing Maria and Katarina getting along extremely well together. I did laugh when Katarina asked Maria and the others girls about who they "liked", they all answered Katarina. Lucky girl! XD With that in mind, it was nice of Katarina to go out of her way to visit Maria in her hometown during their day off, with Keith tagging along as well. The two of them met Maria's mother and while they helped out with their garden, we got to learn more about maria's past and how the discovery of her light powers caused a lot of stigma for her and her mother within her hometown. Being friends with Katarina and the others has helped Maria open up a lot more, which also had a nice positive effect on her mother, too. =) While I did say that Katarina's outfit was lovely, I think her mother didn't approve of that, which led to the last scene of the episode being so amusing. XD |
| I don't think it really matters if Catarina hijacks the romance events; Maria just needs someone who cares about her and values her as a person and Catarina is doing just that! If I was Catarina's mother I would have given up trying to stop her farming a long time ago haha... she just loves it to much to quit! |

| This episode was pretty emotional, the sad backstory wasn't bullsh*t as it was pretty much realistic with how they hinted the heroine of the otome game. That scene though at 19:33 gave a lot of people goosebumps thinking that she was gonna grab the rope in the closet, too bad I was stupid enough to not seen it. Overall well done episode, everything seems so light-hearted and it looks like the MC is picking up a reverse harem. |

| I love how dense Katarina is lol, the girls just straight up confessed to her xD! This show really keeps getting better, we now got to see Maria's backstory, pretty goddam sad to be honest, hopefully Maria and Katarina build a strong bond!! |
