| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, the return of Zeref and the death magic. Looks like we got some flashbacks of Tartaros too. As one of the most prominent characters in the franchise, I'm not surprised. It's just that Zeref always gives off a bad vibe when he appears..like trouble always seems to follow him. A rather important episode though in terms of reintroducing him again. (not to mention, his connection to Natsu) Cana is also back! along with many others. |

| Guild is back and the next master is going to be awesome Mirajane looks the same We got background of Natsu and Zeref and about E N D Slight difference from manga but it's a good episode |

| the scene at the end when they all showed up was just epic definitely my favorite episode of this season so far. also I love the new looks / designs of the other guild members! |
| Probably one of the best episodes of the series and one of the defining moments of what's to come. Zeref's life was the hardest. Alvarez already though? Surprised no filler. Get your mind right for this arc, manga readers know but if you can survive the second half of this arc the 100 years quest arc puts the series back on the forefront. You'll see the arc that divided the fandom. |

| Even though I'm not a fan of this show, that was a great episode. It actually felt like an important episode that hit me with tons of information with Zeref and Natsu's relationship and nostalgia with the reunion of Fairy Tail. |
| Solid episode! Zeref’s backstory finally revealed and what a return for him! Already declaring war against Acnologia our of the blue was lit! Informative backstory nevertheless and a really good direction overall. Soundtracks used during that phase were magnificent too, it really created a perfect atmosphere for it. Harsh background as always, though. A little delightfulthrowback to Tartaros and E.N.D also! Second half of the episode was about the reunion of all the active Fairy Tail members, and it was cheesy-ly but well done nonetheless. Cana returning was a nice moment and looks like she even went out on a journey to look for her dad, Gildarts. I wonder when we’ll get to see Gildarts next! Soundtrack delivered once again during the very heartwarming and touching reunion moment, Lucy couldn’t hold back her tears this time. Next week’s episode preview promises a potentially great episode to look forward to. |

| reiwa weebs will unironically tell u they want a remake or sequel but when they get it ,its suddenly souless and a cashgrab cause they dont like the thing anymore and cant fathom they grew out of it and must mean the show somehow became bad |
| Back story of Zeref was interesting, so he stopped killing nature because he stopped caring about it. I don't understand that Man's character for real, is he good or bad. That is the worst written character I've ever seen and it's not because he is complicated, he is just a bland confusion. His meeting with Acnologia didn't even interest me or that he is a Dragneel. Boring villain is what I could put it. Glad to see Fairy tail reunion and it was an emotional one too, I see Gajeel is really having fun with everyone. Good and bad episode, |

| So we get the reveal that Zeref and Natsu are brothers. Zeref is also plotting something with Acnologia. As much as I talk shit about Fairy Tail, the music during the final scene reminded me of why I love its OST. That really added more emotion to the FT reunion. Well, here we go. The absolute shitshow that is the final arc will begin next week. I'm looking forward to seeing it animated, but I'm not looking forward to having to relive it. |

| Good episode. That was an interesting plot twist, it's definitely interesting to learn more about Zeref and the revelation about Natsu being E.N.D and Zeref's brother is very interesting. I personally wanted more on the backstory and how Zeref met Mavis and how Natsu ended up with Igneel but I guess as Zeref said, that's a story for another time. I'm a little rough towards the whole being cursed by God, cause as far as I remember God's in a sense were never really a thing in FT. I guess there were those God Slayers, but we've never really had any prelude or build towards the fact that Gods are a thing in the universe and not just a myth or maybe I'm just forgetting cause they were never really built up apart from that Natsu one shot last week. Which is why when Zeref said he was cursed by God, it felt more like a plot convenience than an organic flow of events. Anyway, I'm just rambling. The irony of how Zeref's love for live makes him destroy is really sad and touching. :( The final scene with everyone showing up and the music playing was real nice. :) |

| Whooo!!!! I was so hyped for this after watching the after-ending-song part of episode 6 last week. Because mini Zeref as I like to call it XD. Also since it reveals his connection to the series' main character, and reveals some interesting backstory. It was basically just like in the manga, too! Basically, I loved it. I watched it as soon as I could. :) |

| Zeref returns on the screen. Finally something more about his path, that has been rough. Killing the whole academy with a curse. Finally good to see how Natsu relates to Zeref. Just like the Tartaros demons, Natsu was created by Zeref and seen as the brother Zeref had once lost. We get introduced to Achnologia, but in human form this time around. He looks like a tough opponent even as a human. That ending with everyone united again was so good, been waiting for this! So emotional for me! That preview looks nice, looking forward to next week! |

| That backstory of Zeref was really interesting and it all makes sense now. It got quite tense when he and Acnologia met, the two strongest wizards in the world currently probably. That music in the ending always gets me though, Lucy saying "Tadaima" was hearbreaking somehow. Next episode looks like some SoL which is always welcome and then we might finally find out what's behind the big door. |

Same, for me this is one of the biggest chapters in the manga and the beginning of the end.. They really pulled this episode off great and its one of the biggest plot points in the series. |
| They spent one whole episode for just that much? I feel like I've already seen this episode a long time ago as well. That is such an uncomfortable feeling. It's probably because they have so many reunions in this anime that it all blends into one. I couldn't recognise so many of the characters that they were all acting so familiar with. Zeref kept talking to himself. Mashima could've found a better way to reveal those information! What a waste. It was interesting, but it could've been used to absolutely shock the audience. Zeref's curse makes no sense. His curse could've been something that stopped him from interacting with anything possessing life, without anyone having to die. The death curse is also going to be useless as I can guarantee that no one that we know will die! I wanted to say this in the film version, but I'll say it here. WHY DO ALMOST EVERYONE HAVE THE ABILITY TO TURN HUMAN?? Please don't give that stupid ability to any more of the characters. |

| I had read this so long ago i completely forgot Zeref's background story was still not known. Was good episode, Lucy being whiny for the last 5 minutes or so a bit less, but still its time to rebuild Fairy tail! |
| This episode felt so nostalgic and melancholic that it hurt. |
| There is a lot of revelation with Zeref! The reunion of the ancients was beautiful. |
