HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022!! 🎉🎉
I found u through my mal friends when I was bored, saw your page and liked it so... XD
I actually dislike stupid characters (people in general).
I watch every short anime every season no questions asked (it's free list entries and I can power through something bad when it's like 2-5 minutes per week). My pain when the full-length second season was announced was immense. I always finish everything I started no exceptions and no drops.
I don't actually check voice actors and other staff in advance, because I don't care about those things, story and characters are, and always will be, #1 thing for me, and everything else is essentially irrelevant.
I love the voice actors, in fact Kamiya Hiroshi is one of my overall favorites. But that means nothing when I fundamentally can't stand that type of show. Comedies in general are not my thing, I find most of them boring and not particularly funny, and there are very few that were really good and made me laugh a lot. But I really hate shows like this one that make me cringe in disgust. The characters are so one-dimensional and so cringy that it kills any possibility of enjoyment. Especially Nendou, I absolutely loathe every second he appears on the screen (and there's less than 10 characters in all of the anime I've ever seen that I can say I really hate).
I don't like the whole idea of the show being "let's make every situation and every character as stupid as humanely possible". It's not funny to me, it's cringy. I won't complain about it not having a real story, as comedies usually don't. I know it's supposed to be a parody of an "overpowered shounen protagonist" trope, but it takes it way too far on the idiocy element that it's just disgusting. It doesn't do anything innovative or clever, it's just braindead to the point of absurdity. In hindsight 5 was a generous score, I lowered it to 4.
An exceptionally good parody of the trope would be something like Medaka Box and One Punch Man, which have immensely good writing and fantastic characters.
Rant over, don't say I didn't warn you xD
If the anime adaption seems to be so badly reputated (looking at that 6.XX score at least), the manga hopefully will be a blast.
